I decided to order a mini bundle that had 5 different options in which all of them were crockpot friendly. The only thing that I needed to supply was the protein (chicken, etc.). They offer options to buy meals in bundles or individual packets. I would definitely recommend Easy Freezy Freezer Meals to singles and mom's with a nice size family alike. Also great for seniors or caregivers looking for meal options. You can cook several meals up per week and divvy them out into individual meal containers and freeze some and you won't have to worry about having to figure out what to eat or prepare. They have a Facebook group and it really appears that people love Easy Freezy. Also, they offer discounts and deals. Finally, not only do they have a store location, they also deliver locally, which is what I selected because I was unable to get out. They communicate well. They also believe in giving back, which says a lot. Oh yeah, got family or friends that live in another city or state? They offer shipping as well. Hope that you check them out!!

The monthly meal starter bundles always have a good variety of tasty options that save time and money. Just order your starters, toss in your meat, and stick them in the freezer. Instructions for preparation in the crockpot or instant pot are emailed and printed right on the bag. You can even have them delivered to your porch on a date of your choosing. They're great to have on-hand for meals trains. We've tried countless Easy Freezy meals and have truly enjoyed them all; some of our very favorites include Korean Beef Tacos, Creamy Tortellini, and Steak and Pesto Fettuccini. I haven't yet tried their overnight oats, desserts, or lunch boxes, but those look delicious, too. If you want to make your life easier, try some new meals, and support local, Easy Freezy is the place for you.

Do you need meal prep services? To go catering? A burger on a random day? This is the place for…read moreyou. I regularly order meal prep and I'm always satisfied with the variety of choices, the ease of online ordering and the convenience of delivery. Last year for my birthday, my husband ordered to go catering from there and the food was packed so nicely and they even included a birthday cake from Brown Cow Bakery (it was so good). We drove 4hrs to a cabin and the food warmed up and was served and was still just as delicious as when I get it for meal prep. Last month my husband and I caught the burger burn Chef Curry does and my KC Burger was amazing. Here's hoping we can get a shrimp and grits pop up. Until then I'll keep ordering the amazing risotto for meal prep.

I'm not much of a healthy food meal prepper, but they have plenty of portion controlled to-go options if that's what you're into. They also do really well with catering, especially with vegetarian/gluten free options. I've ordered catering from them multiple times and it's always a huge hit. All of their options are healthy and flavorful. They are easy to work with, arrive early every time, and conveniently deliver to the health sciences center area. I couldn't recommend them more if you are looking for a new catering option.

Steph's team was onsite to answer questions for any guests and kept the buffet flowing with food. Our event was an Employee Milestone Luncheon, and we were more than impressed with Kam's company's service. After the luncheon, so many people reached out to talk about the quality of the food and how elevated it was for a lunch. I loved that they honored the budget we were looking at and thought the pricing was extremely competitive with other companies. Elise is easy to reach, quick to respond and overall, a great person to work with. I love this team and hope to work with them again soon!

My husband and I attended a cooking class and tour at Kamala's Guilford Gardens eight years ago,…read moreand we had a fantastic time. We were honorary co-op members back then. This means that if our friend who was a member of the co-op didn't know what to do with a certain vegetable, she would give it to us and we would cook something with it. In 2021, we are working to be better community members by spending our money locally. It will take some time to make up for our 2020 carbon footprint due to COVID. So, first thing this year, we joined the Guilford Gardens CSA. I am so happy with our first basket pickup. The most perfect tomatoes, two dozen eggs, plenty of local leafy greens, carrots and BONUS tamales and salsa. So happy to be injecting our money into food that is as local as it gets.

I ordered 2 of the Salsa Trio with Crispy Tortilla Chips with Tomatillo, Mango Habanero, & Roasted Tomato Salsa. Mexican Street Corn Salad. Spinach & Mushroom Enchiladas with Povlano Cream Sauce. Chili Cheese Relleno - Egg battered with a side of Ranchero Sauce. Both served with a side of Cilantro Rice. For dessert Cinnamon Churros with a side of chocolate. I always like to start with the bad so it is over and done with and I can end with the good. So for some reason the payment form was down online and I couldn't pay so I figured that I could pay there but I was wrong which I figured out when I got there. Now that we have that little kink worked out that will not happen again. Second they forgot to give me one of my order of snacks which was the chips and salsa. I really don't know what I expected when they bought my food out but, the way that i received it was not what I thought. Nonetheless I read my instructions as I waited for them to ring me up and get.my other chips and salsas. Finally I am home and it is time to eat i warm up my spinach and mushroom enchiladas & rice in the microwave. They were so i was like this simply is not enough I need another portion. I don't know what she, he , or they put in that poblano cream sauce but thats what I needed on the side because I didn't even open that sour cream and quacomole. The reheating directions said to microwave there was no way I was going to reheat a churro in the microwave no way absolutely not. I put one in each side of my toaster and it came out nice and crunchy and put that chocolate sauce in the microwave and let it melt. I had the perfect chocolate dipped churros.

My family has worked with Aunt Pittypat's recently for three separate events, all very different…read moreand all executed perfectly. All the women in my family are a very good cooks, and most of us are very well-versed in event planning. So you can imagine, in turning the important task of our big family events over to someone else, we are fairly picking and can be a bit opinionated about the whole affair. Aunt Pittypat's always exceeds expectations, and then some. My grandparents' 65th wedding anniversary was catered by AP's. They wanted to have it in their home and the entire team was a part of making this work for my grandparents. They worked with my grandmother to create her perfect menu, and then they brought in the very best people to set up the event. The menu consisted of several wonderful hors d'oeuvres, salads and pastries. It was perfectly elegant, and exactly what my grandmother had hoped for. Their team used my grandmother's china and silver at her request and did a beautiful job. The following day was Easter, and since we knew we'd all be too busy with anniversary events to prepare an Easter lunch, Aunt Pittypat's prepared that meal as well. They brought this meal along with the items for the Saturday event, with excellent instructions for reheating. I think this is a really great thing to do sometimes, when you know you are having a lot of people in town, especially for a big celebration, and you know you want to spend more time with your guests than in the kitchen. We were so glad to be able to eat a delicious, home-cooked meal with our family, without anyone having to stay up all night prepping dishes. I think everyone in my family loved the meal (which was a traditional Easter meal, with several lovely, upscale, modern touches), as I've come to expect from Chef Christine, Maggie, Leigh and their wonderful team. Finally, most recently, my family used Aunt Pittypat's for a bridal luncheon for my cousin Kelley just before her wedding a few weeks ago. Aunt Pittypat's prepared a beautiful brunch with all manner of ladylike, bite-sized quiches, salads on a small miniature homemade rolls, wonderful fruit displays, veggies and desserts. They brought everything we needed to make a picture-perfect brunch for our little lady. Their staff is very professional, and everything from the menus to the execution and clean up is really outstanding. I know it seems like a luxury to hire caterers for family events, but when your family is big, and the extended family doesn't get to spend enough time together, we're so thankful for the extra time with one another, and the complete lack of stress. It doesn't necessarily have to be expensive to be delicious. My advice is to give them your budget and some basic parameters so they know what you like and what you are expecting, but let them work their magic on the actual menu. Part of the fun of having someone else do the cooking is trying new things you'd never make on your own.
