They also loved that he was incredibly knowledgeable and personable and described each dish as it was served. I'm the favorite child for hiring him, but they would really love to just adopt him! The only present they ever want from us now is another meal from Chef Jeff! My brother and I decided to hire Chef Jeff again as a combined Mother's Day and Father's Day gift. My parents wanted the whole family to be able to share this once in a lifetime experience so we ended up changing the date and making it a family meal. He easily accommodated the needs of all 5 adults and 2 children. He brought his adult daughter along as his sous chef and she was delightful. My very chatty and opinionated young daughter joined him in the kitchen for a while. He was so kind answering all of her questions and explaining what he was doing. He was even ready to make a quick menu change when she said she's allergic to seafood (she's not really so we're were able to tell him the change wasn't necessary.) We saved him once we realized she had joined him in the kitchen but he was so kind and accommodating. In addition to the incredible food, Chef Jeff cleaned absolutely everything and left the kitchen exactly as it was before he arrived. He even hand washed all of my mom's delicate flatware and china and put it all back where it came from. I'm not sure how he knew where to put everything since I always have to ask mom, but he got it all right. He also packed up the leftovers for us and we all met again to enjoy a second meal together. It was just as good the next day! I can't say enough about Chef Jeff. My family is now trying to make up any excuse to hire him again so that our once in a lifetime experience will not just happen once! I wish I could add pictures but we were too immersed in the experience and exquisite food to think about taking pictures.

Last year for my birthday, my husband ordered to go catering from there and the food was packed so nicely and they even included a birthday cake from Brown Cow Bakery (it was so good). We drove 4hrs to a cabin and the food warmed up and was served and was still just as delicious as when I get it for meal prep. Last month my husband and I caught the burger burn Chef Curry does and my KC Burger was amazing. Here's hoping we can get a shrimp and grits pop up. They also do really well with catering, especially with vegetarian/gluten free options. I've ordered catering from them multiple times and it's always a huge hit.
