Gorgeous sitting room

The hidden gem was the perfect place to catch up with a friend over brunch. It's gorgeously ornate without being stuffy, and it was so nice to be in quiet surroundings where we could actually talk. Staff were gracious, wine and brunch menus excellent and reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back and try more.

This place has such a beautiful rustic charm, perfectly nestled in downtown Belleville, surrounded by those gorgeous historic homes I adore. The owner has done a fantastic job creating a cozy atmosphere inviting you. The crowd here is made up of friendly locals, making it feel like a home away from home. Even though the bartender who I believe is also the owner was working the bar alone, she handled it gracefully, especially considering all her employees had called off on Labor Day weekend. Talk about inconvenient timing! But she managed it beautifully, and I couldn't help but be impressed. I cherish my solo time, especially when it involves a great glass of wine and a good chat with a local. Don't get me wrong, I love my outings with my handsome gentleman , but sometimes, a little time apart makes the heart grow fonder! I won't be in town this upcoming Friday as I'll be in Chicago, but you can bet I'll be back next Friday after work, maybe with a friend or two, for another relaxing evening here. Until next time, Sierra

We stopped in just to see the place and ended up sitting at the bar for a drink. The owner was very nice. She has a huge wine selection as well as spirits and beer; basically something for everyone. The house is an old 3 story place. When you walk in there is a beautiful spiral staircase up to the 3rd floor. She has some beautiful furniture pieces in there although some of decor is a bit too flowery for me. We didn't eat there bc we had just eaten. They mostly have meat and cheese plates because the kitchen is small. They do have brunch on weekends. I would like to go back and try it again. Prices were reasonable.

Lovely place to unwind or meet up with friends. They have a large selection of wines and also small plates. They always have meat and cheese boards on hand but their appetizer selections change throughout the week. They also have signature cocktails, as well as unique cocktails. Everything there is amazing and of excellent quality. The owner, Magda, is very knowledgeable and helpful. She is on site the majority of the time, if not always. She has an excellent bartender, named Maiden (sp?), who is also very knowledgeable and friendly. There are several rooms in the house to be seated, or you may go out on the lovely patio, which includes a bocce ball court.

What a great happy hour, date night or girls night place. Many options to choose for a meat and cheese board. So many wines, bourbon, and whiskey options to choose. The place is an old house so there is seating in each room and a bar. Lots of outside seating for when it's warm.

SUCH a great place!!! Saw a Facebook post advertising 2 cocktails for the day and decided I must stop by and try... SO glad I did. This past lawyers office / old house has been redone magnificently! So many different cozy seating options. The drink was GLORIOUS and the small plate of the day was fantastic too! Lovely folks working there. Would love to stop in again and chill on the front or side porch in nice weather. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!!

Over the past few months, this has become our new favorite spot in Belleville. I'm more of a cocktail girl myself but hanging around Grafted has made me into a fine wine woman too, apparently. This place has an amazing selection of.. well, everything. Wine, seasonal beers, cocktail specials, and appetizers. It's located in a beautiful old house near downtown Belleville that gives the perfect ambiance and opportunity for anyone to feel classy. Lots of seating options though sitting at the bar is my favorite because of all the things you can learn about the wine and cocktails from the staff and Magda, the owner. Highly recommend trying out the meat & cheese boards and small plates while you're there - some things might take you out of your comfort zone but everything will be 10000% delicious. All of the cocktails that I've tried there have been fantastic but some highlights were the pear and strawberry mimosas and the walnut old fashioned. Check back in on their social media pages to see which cocktails they have - they're always changing and always tasting.

As soon as you walk up to the building, you know it's someplace special. Excellent wine and knowledgeable staff. The cheeses, meats, and olives were a delicious complement to the wine. The atmosphere is both classy and comfortable. I highly recommend trying this hidden gem.

The toasted ravioli were the worst of my life which is so confusing like how is it possible to make fried food taste bad? I've had better from the freezer isle. My sister ordered the Mediterranean flatbread and it was weird. Didn't seem to truly be Mediterranean inspired and everyone who tried it disliked it. This place used to be packed and it was mostly empty. The strawberry sangria was SO watered down. I had 3 and didn't feel like I consumed any alcohol & certainly couldn't taste any. It was like watered down strawberry juice. The employees were nice, but they don't check on you at the table. You have to bring your cups and dishes back to the bar when you're done. I just don't know if this place will survive if they don't make some huge changes. My family and I used to love coming here, but the ambiance, food and drink offerings, and service is poor. Breaks my heart to see this place go downhill.

A lovely big and dark red painted mansion. The inside is dim, but intimate. The staff was great! Our server was Amanda. She was very attentive. Appetizers August the Mansion House salad- it was good with the Candied walnuts Brussels Sprouts- So warm and sweet. I couldn't get enough of it. Burratta- The Burratta was light and so good Drinks(Mocktails) Espresso Natini- Light and Perfect. No strong taste to it. Palmito- Sweet Main Dishes NY Strip- Cooked it medium rare. Very tasty Shrimp and Grits- My said it was spicy, but she enjoyed it Dessert Pistachio cheesecake- delicious

The acoustics make it kinda hard to hear what the person across from you is saying, and the wooden chairs are not comfortable at all. Our server was a very bubbly young lady named Emma, who did a great job taking care of us. I had two glasses of wine and we ordered the brussel sprouts appetizer, a house salad each, and we both had the filet entree. I loved it all, but my husband thought there was too much sauce on the sprouts and wasn't crazy about the salad. He loved the entree though. We got the tiramisu for dessert, and took it home with us. The portions are big, so we had some sprouts and I had some steak leftover. I'm looking forward to having it for dinner again tonight!! We will definitely be back. I love that it's in town, and the food is delicious. It's pricey but worth it, especially when you're celebrating something.

They put a lot of effort in making this an upscale restaurant. Customer service was exceptional. Grace was our server. She checked on us all night. She made our experience one of the best we have had. The assistant server kept our drinks full. Grace went over the specials and the vegetable of the dau. She even brought us a complimentary cake for our anniversary. The food was great. For starters we got the pepperoni bruschetta. It was delicious. The presentation was amazing. The steak was very tender. I got the Porter's signature grill pepperloin and baked potato. It came with their signature mustard sauce on the side. The steak was so tender that I cut it with the fork. I didn't know what to expect but everything was excellent. She got chicken marsala over whipped potatoes and green beans. She loved it. We got the 7 layers chocolate cake and cheesecake. There is plenty of free parking. I had a wonderful time. You have got to try this restaurant .

I sent them back to kitchen to be cooked more. However, when they came back to my table, they were hard as could be, they had a glaze on them, but, again, Very hard to eat, and I did not eat them. I was very disappointed for the price of the meal at this famous restaurant. Very Disappointed!!! Reluctant to try this restaurant again.

We arrived right on time for our reservation, stood for quite a few minutes in a half-empty house before being seated, then waited a very long time between visits from our apparently over-stretched waitstaff. The first cocktail I chose wasn't available; nor was the first entree. I settled on the "red wine flight", and it arrived in three glasses. The server recited their names, but I didn't catch them. Food was middle of the road. A smoked sirloin sandwich was tasty, though rather well-done. And the order of "salmon cakes", which the menu says is made of "smoked salmon, roast corn, tomato, cucumber, creme fraiche, and capers" was in fact just one cake (not cakes!), smaller than a hockey puck (about 1/2" thick max) and seemed to be made of canned fish, not the bright orange of smoked salmon. It was accompanied by five thin slices of cucumber and three or four halved grape tomatoes. No corn, no capers. It was so boring, and an overpriced disappointment at $23. If this Bridge is actually closing and focusing on the event space, they've gone out with a whimper. And if they're actually continuing service, I hope they get the food a little closer to the menu descriptions. Our drinks and water glasses were empty for long stretches. Our server was very pleasant and polite, but must've had way too much to do.
