Now, this is a review from my experience with him 20 years ago.
The one thing I can say is, Little Shop of Horrors came to mind.
First of all, the guy is just downright mean. He kept arguing with me whether or not I felt pain and told me I didn't feel it when I did. He yelled at me several times and his bedside manner is horrendous.
Second he is NOT a an oral surgeon. He may have on in the practice now, but it's not him. He is a dentist and an endodontist. Period.
He did a passable job on root canals and one of them he screwed it up so bad the left side of my face was 3x the size of the right and I had to go to the REAL oral surgery place a few blocks down on Broadway. It was infected and I needed antibiotics and drainage. Nightmare.
The only thing I will say (and the reason for the 3rd star) is because he was reasonably priced, let me pay it over time, and did a job good enough to last for 20 years. His staff is nice, including the dental hygienists.
Like I said, it was 20 years ago, maybe he is nicer now, maybe things have changed. All I know is I remember the experience like any trauma victim would. So take your cue from that. If you cannot afford a dentist he is adequate. Bring your big boy pants and try not to cry. read more
