I've worked with several home-health agencies over the years--during care for my mom, grandmother,…read moreuncle, and even after my own surgery in 2010. Because of those experiences, I've learned the difference between an agency that just shows up and one that truly understands what families need. Agape Health Services is on another level. They care for my mother-in-law, who has dementia, and the compassion, patience, and genuine respect they show her is something I've never seen from any other provider. A lot of companies say they treat you like family... Agape actually does it. Nancy and her team is consistent, communicative, and truly dedicated. They pay attention to the small things, they go out of their way to make her comfortable, and they bring a warmth that can't be taught. It gives us peace of mind knowing she's with people who really care. After dealing with multiple agencies over the years, I can honestly say Agape Health Services is the most caring and authentic home-health agency we've ever worked with.

That is not acceptable. I was a wife, not a trained caregiver, and my husband suffered as a result. In addition, while a few were very caring and kind, some of the caregivers were decidedly quirky and a couple of them brought their Bibles. I'm a Christian, but I respect all spiritual paths and felt that was inappropriate. One shooed my cat away (Shoo! Shoo!)when my the cat was a major comfort to my husband. Another dislodged a kidney tube that resulted in an ambulance trip to the hospital. I would never use them again,

The entire family loves Randi. Confident, calm, soothing, and compassionate; mindful and solicitous of our opposing needs to assist in our father's care and to rest; attentive and quickly responsive to his mood; skilled in the care of an invalid and sharing in her knowledge so that we could be more effective caregivers in her absence... she was the epitome of hospice care professionalism. I hope that on my deathbed I have a nurse half as good as Randi. I'm a volunteer ski patroller in the Midwest; over the past fifteen years I've been privileged to work closely with patrollers who have many decades of experience in emergency care, some of whom are also nurses and doctors themselves. Randi is now my standard for how to interact with my patients. Whatever you're paying her, it isn't nearly enough.
