My friend was near her end and her husband called vitas for a nurse to come to the home. It was a Sunday and he asked me to talk to the woman who answered the phone as I am a nurse. She was rude to say the least. I do not like to write this review but hospice should mean comfort and this woman was far from that. Then when the nurse finally called she told my friends husband she was and hour and a half away and would get there when she could. Why isn't there an available nurse closer than an hour and a half! I just was not happy that I told my friend that VITAS was a good hospice. Never again. ( I would not give them any stars but you have to choose one to place the review!)
