At the first visit, when I was very nervous about coming to a new place, my mind was completely put at ease by Mark. Her treatment team has only recommended that she stay longer, and is requesting money for her to stay longer. We have barely heard from her treatment team. Releases are signed, they are legally able to communicate with us, this is just simply neglect to do so. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional and unethical this treatment has shown to be. We are now looking at 8 more days of treatment for her and of course we do not plan on extending her stay because Life Skills has shown us ZERO in terms of her progress in treatment and professionalism. I have previously worked in two drug and alcohol treatment centers, I know very well how treatment works, this is beyond unprofessional and disappointing. I cannot stress enough how much I do not recommend this place for treatment of your loved ones. It is genuinely scary and concerning their lack of care and professionalism.
