I ordered catering from here for my baby shower. The process was smooth and the food was delicious. They are also reasonably priced. They arrived right on time for the event to set up food and they also included serving ware and condiments. I highly recommend!

After hearing all the good things about Gracie's Lunchbox we decided to give it a try for St.Patrick's day. Overall my wife's order of Corned Beef and Cabbage she found was good. My order of Meatloaf and potato pancakes was so so, the potato pancakes were not crispy, actually they were kind of limp as if they were prepared earlier, I wouldn't have minded waiting a few minutes for them to be cooked fresh, once they hit the container to go the moisture did them in. Also as you can see on my receipt I ordered a brownie. What I received was Irish Bread Pudding of which I do not care for. And walnuts. cannot eat them. I would have guessed if for some reason they had run out of brownies they could have told me upon pickup so I could have been refunded the $4.00 dollars for something I can't eat. Moral check your order before leaving the establishment.

Okay so here's my review and I have others that feel the same way .I had a catered meal on St Patrick's day is was okay then I had I catered meal from this place Sat and it was not edible. The meat in the sherpeds pie was not broken up elderly folks were served could of choked.Plus she made mac and cheese with beer double yuck .I had one person throw up .I know she could of done better cause I had better at another event by her .Perhaps she was cutting corners were she should not have .Keep your restaurant consistent is my main complaint here .Make sure your not cutting corners. read more

Holy smokes, we just finished a round of golf and needed to get some nourishment and nothing sounded better than a nice deli sandwich. Everything my group ordered was absolutely delicious. The 9" monster sub was amazing. It fed 4 adults and was full of delicious meats. Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, Pepperoni, Salami and 3 kinds of cheese plus much more. It also come with a giant dill pickle. We will be back. read more

Absolutely my favorite spot for lunch when I'm working in Sun City. The staff is always great, the food is always fantastic, the brownies are amazing! I've gotten a few different sandwiches, two of the salads and the meat loaf hot plate, all of them are great! Home made, all cooked fresh that day, GIANT sandwiches that you can share or have for later... you can taste the love they put into their cooking! I will be having them cater my bridal shower later this year! I save my cheat days for the days i work in Sun City because this place just makes it all worth it read more

Omg! Finally a filling sandwich and catering place! This place is a hidden gem in the area. I just ate the Menifee Monster Sandwich and it was delicious! The right about of the fixings and the bread tastes legit. Intimate seating deserts look yummy and the staff is super chill and friendly. I gotta go.. and have my friend carry me to the truck. I was driving to subway shop then hit me this is a MoM & Pop place that I had heard was good. So first visit to pick up sandwiches for a Bible study. They where very helpful in helping me to order and got a sandwich for Husband with brownies too. Turkey was delish and brownies (I took one bit) went over good. Thank you to the team of Ladies taking orders and preparing the food. I will come back again :-P read more

Finally, a place within the Sun City city limits that has edible food at reasonable prices. Been patronizing this business occasionally since January 2018, but wanted to be sure it was the "real deal" before writing a review. First off, the selection for vegetarians is tremendous and the quality of the sandwichs and sides are a thousand times better than nearby Sh*tway Sandwiches, Stater Bros. or Vons! Yesterday, I bought several large sides (only $3.50 each and more than enough for two or more servings): Potato Salad, Traditional Pasta Salad, Pasta Salad with Mushrooms, Bean Salad, and Olives with Garlic. The olives may be too spicy for some folks, so ask for a sample before buying! I also bought four small chocolate chip cookies (soft). They are not too sweet and the chocolate used is very yummy! All this was something like $21 with tax and my mother and I have managed to get TWO small meals out of this and then some for snacking. This establishment uses high-quality ingredients and doesn't put a lot of unnecessary crap in their food, so that is very important and explains why the food is so much better than other nearby establishments. I plan on frequenting them more often since they are conveniently located next to a nearby medical building. read more

Soooo disappointing! I wanted to like this place but the girl with "black winged eyeliner" making the sandwiches, 1) Looks like she hates her job, tossing things around with a stank look on her face 2)I witnessed her making my sandwich, then continued doing and touching other stuff that wasn't food with the same gloves on and then proceeded to finish my sandwich with the SAME gloves! I should've walked out at that point but I didn't. I payed and tossed that shit in the trash! Talk about cross contamination. While I was paying there was a gentleman with a sandwich that he pointed out about paper that was melted to the cheese in his sandwich. The same girl probably made his sandwich as well! Yuck. I will not be back. Fair warning to everyone. Eat at your own risk. Too bad because I really wanted to like and support a small business. read more

So, updating to cover what *most* people will use this place for: lunch. *NOTE: See my catering review if you're ordering out; can't go wrong with this place!* Went here on BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich day. It was really good! My wife got a build-your-own sandwich, and it was OK (per her report), but she ended up eating a portion of my sandwich (which I was OK with, because it was fairly large) because she REALLY liked it. Definitely wasn't the *best* pulled pork I've ever had (read my reviews from Memphis-area, you'll understand why), but good by CA standards. As for the BBQ sauce, I'm not sure if they make their own, or what the deal was, but it was really good. Definitely didn't *seem* like generic US Foods bottled stuff, but maybe those distribution trucks have upped their game? All in all, it was a pretty good lunch. So, why 4 stars instead of 5? Nothing quite left me feeling like I needed to go back immediately. There are very few perfect foods in the world (not that that's what it takes for 5-star reviews), but nothing here caught me as I NEED to go back immediately. That being said, would I return? Absolutely. They were nice, and it has that small-town feel, which is sometimes hard to find. And, the food was really good. So, give it shot, and see for yourself; maybe you'll hit something perfect and it'll be your new spot. For us, it's definitely getting added into the pile of options for the future! read more

Ah-mazing food! Owner, of Aly is a talented chef, baker & has an amazing spirit! Her pasta salads are delish & the meatloaf is to die for! Everything is always super fresh and served in generous portions. Then there are the BROWNIES! Do not leave without trying one or if you are full up on her yummy food,do yourself a favor & get a brownie to go! So rich & SO good! Really impressed by this place. Needed a place to grab a quick bite to eat but try to stay healthy and this place hit the spot. We are catering for all tastes, whether it's deli style, Asian, Mexican, etc. Our chef can cater any type of event. Our catering is the brainchild of Ally Cazarin a trained chef. She has experience running large wineries, estates, and other restaurants from Seattle, LA, and now Menifee.
