Its a spanish grocery store. They sell bakery items , meats and produce. Similar to Bravo or Unidos but smaller. Located in Polk Counter in Winter Haven area. They do not have a glass case for meats and seafood like other grocery stores - They pack the meats and seafood in styrofoam trays and priced and place in cooler shelves. So Oxtails are precut and they are sliced not too thick. Its good this way cause its easier to cook them. They have parts where you need to trim the fat. The prices ranges from $11-16 depending on weight. I bought an eggplant here also needed for my dish for $1.49 - No they are not chinese eggplants they are the huge ones like you see at walmart. The bakery cooler section they offer array of flans flavors and tres leches cakes. They also offer cookies and pastries in a regular shelf near the cash register. Staff here understand english if not you can always ask a customer to translate for you.

We had just eaten beforehand so did not partake, but I kept it on my radar. The line went out the door, so I took that as a plus as well. By far the Haas avocados we purchased from Santiago's were the best we have been able to find after moving to the area several months ago. Almost every avocado we have purchased elsewhere "ripened" into garbage and ended up getting tossed. Not these avos! They ripened very well and it was a joy to consume them! Not knowing if this was an outlier we returned a couple of weeks later and purchased more. Just as good! This time around I hit up the hot/fresh food service area and selected a tripe laden soup and their equivalent to chicharrones, which appeared more like pieces of fried pork belly. Both were delicious! I did add some red pepper to the soup (it was semi-bland to me) which elevated it quite a bit. I returned again today, for MORE of their avocados! I also opted to get some more of those pork belly looking chicharrones! I also ordered a small container of marinated octopus pieces (it was very fresh and delicious). Unless I find a better Hispanic Market (I had actually been searching for a Mexican Market, but they seem to carry all types of Hispanic and Caribbean food items) this place gets the 5 star approval rating!

I've had some olive oil from them before and I was curious to see all of what they carry. They have a wide variety of blended and infused olive oils and vinegars. They have some interesting flavors of stuffed olives along with a good selection of other seasoning type items. There's a selection of wines and also some cheeses available which would make setting up charcuterie a little easier. I spent a while chatting with the owners and browsing through their entire selection. In the end I picked up a bottle of vegan butter and olive oil blend along with a jar of seedless raspberry jam. This was a really nice store with so many things to choose from. I'm seriously thinking about buying a package of the hull less popcorn they have the next time I am in. I really wanted to get apple butter as a friend once told me the best places to get apple butter are from Amish shops because it's that real apple butter. Well I walked in and low and behold there were so many things to choose from besides apple butter! The owner was super nice and he even had samples of the apple butter. Lol we both sampled it! It was sooooooo delicious. I ended up purchasing apple butter, sweet potato butter, and orange marmalade in the nicely sized 18oz jars. The price wasn't bad either. Oh! And to my surprise that had the "no granulated sugar added" ones as well! Will definitely be back to get more! Had to contain myself this time or I would have gone overboard.

I had never been here before and decided on a mint chocolate milkshake, goodness it was so good! Huge pieces of chocolate that would not go up the straw, love it! I ended up eating it with a spoon at home, delicious. While she was making the shake I was looking around and saw all the flavors that they can add to your shaved ice and/or snocones. The owners also seem so happy and fun on their Instagram story. I finally got a chance to try them. They have shakes, teas, delicious breakfast food, & much more. I got their chunky monkey shakes and it turns out what I got was a meal replacement. It was so good. The owner explained the nutrition values of the shake. The owner explained how much weight they have lost by adopting this lifestyle. It really shows. They are opening a new location in Lake Wales! Blessing to them! Check them out!
