Despite that, they took her back and washed her hair again. The woman washing her hair was extremely rough. As a parent, I could tell by my daughter's facial expressions that she was uncomfortable and in pain. Before the haircut, I clearly explained that my daughter wanted to keep her hair long and only wanted a small trim. I even showed the stylist a reference photo of the look we wanted--more volume and bouncy, defined curls. The stylist assured me, "I can do that, no problem." Unfortunately, the end result was nothing like what we requested. Her hair was cut unevenly, with different lengths throughout. The back was noticeably longer than the rest, and there appeared to be layers that I never asked for. Even the front was uneven. To make matters worse, so much product was applied that her curls were stiff, crispy, and completely lacked the soft, bouncy look we wanted. Her hair wasn't even fully dried before we left. It looked flat and stuck to her head rather than full of volume. For a $65 trim, I expected much better--especially after clearly communicating what we wanted and being reassured it could be done. This experience was very disappointing, and unfortunately, we will not be returning to the Harrisburg location.

While we were extremely disappointed with both the color outcome and the obvious lack of blending and transition throughout the hair, what ultimately prompted me to leave this review was her response when concerns were raised. Rather than acknowledging the issues, she became defensive when dissatisfaction with the service was expressed. When a refund was requested due to the poor results, there was significant resistance before she eventually agreed to refund less than half of the amount paid. $150 for this inexperienced "balayage" service is a scam. Mistakes can happen, but professionalism, accountability, and a willingness to make things right matter just as much as the service itself. Unfortunately, this experience fell short in all of those areas.

Also, they charged my friend 78 dollars when mine was 60 plus the tip, and she and I had gotten the same thing, so I'm confused how hers was more than mine and she didn't tip. The only thing my friend got different from me was her ends trimmed, and that would mean she charged 18 dollars to trim ends, which is way too much; we could've asked my dad to do that for free.
