They are small, so you have to really look to see them. Stylist: Kate at Shearious is wonderful! She is friendly and very accommodating. I went from having dark brown hair to a warm golden brownish blonde ombré. She took her time and explained everything. I was nervous getting my hair color since I haven't done it in so long. She gave an awesome head massage too when she washed my hair. I already have another appt with her in a couple of months for a touch-up. Price: Her price was super cheap compared to all the other places I called. Appointments: It's easy to make appointments. They open until 6pm, but if you take longer than expected, then they will stay after. No rushing you out! I wish they opened on Sunday though, given I work all the other days. She listens to your needs and does her best to please her customers. I feel comfortable with her professionalism and friendliness. She warmly welcomed me to her cozy studio and gives you her total attention. After listening to my request, she washed my hair and conditioned it before doing the cut. She's quick with her hands and I am happy with the outcome. She is careful to show the back of my hair with a smaller mirror to make sure that is the length I like. I do not trust many hairdressers with my particular style but I trust Althea to do it . She does a great job and I get many compliments afterwards. I've been going here for years. I started seeing Lauren and then started seeing Morgan. I got my…read morehair done on 12/7 and it was awful. My hair was orange. I asked for a balayage and to bring my blonde up with a root melt. She claimed my hair was orange due to it being dark even though it was my natural grown out hair, that she has taken from dark to blonde before- with zero issyes. I didn't get what i asked for. No balayage, no root melt. The only melting that was happening was my hair. I stated I wasn't happy once I was blow dryed and Morgan "fixed" it by adding in lowlights and a partial refund. She claimed that toner wouldn't do anything (it would have) and for me to use purple shampoo (Purple wont / didn't tone the orange catastrophe that was my hair). I had to go to another salon and get it extremely color corrected and do lots of conditioning treatments to save the integrity of my hair. The stylist showed me parts of my hair that were gummy, overprocessed, broken off and extremely splotchy. I was completely upset by this. I messaged Morgan pictures of my hair, that the new stylist took, and asked for a full refund due to the damage done to my hair. Morgan ignored me and i never got the full refund I deserve. My first visit here was post-covid and my hair had lines of color from dying my hair at home. Not only was it a remarkable change, but I never felt judged or laughed at. I know the before and after pictures were amazing though! The prices are not as high as other locations I've visited and they run specials where you can buy a gift card and get an additional "free" amount included.
