The only reason for a 3 star review (otherwise would have been 4 stars) is that my time was cut short a little over 5 mins I did get there early but the massage still started a bit late, and ended a bit early. Not a huge deal but sometimes with massages, just getting the exact time you're allotted is a bit of a minimum expectation. A good place to have on the roster and I would definitely consider returning!

As for specific COVID procedures, all physio therapists that I witnessed showed a great attention to detail, making sure all surfaces were cleaned, all weights properly sanitized and that everything was as safe as possible for the patients. As for my individual experience with my physio therapist Brendan, he was great: Super nice guy, very personable. He was extremely accommodating, even offering to do my physio outside on a day when I had a sick dog that I couldn't leave unattended. He did a great job in identifying the best treatment for my injury, as well as teaching me the necessary exercises to do at home. I'm extremely happy with the amount of mobility gained after my sessions and am very pleased with the overall experience.

The treatment is good and professional, except... appointments are scheduled for approx 45 mins. I rarely receive treatment within 20 minutes of my arrival or leave after 1 hour of treatment. And asking for treatment to occur within the scheduled time causes treatment to become forced and rushed. I am grateful for the treatment, just an FYI not to plan anything after appointment.

She was courteous and patient and really took the time to have me properly set up. When one is in pain, sorting forms or administrative information can be a different type of challenge, but she was helpful and kind. My physiotherapist was Gordon. He really did help me with terrible pain I was feeling. I couldnt manage to secure an appointment before an upcoming trip so I had to go to another clinic for follow up.The doctor at the other clinic spoke very highly of the treatment I had been provided at Marpole Physiotherapy Clinic so far. He actually encouraged me to continue physiotherapy there as soon as I could find a spot. This is the only downside I could think of...like all good things, they are in high demand. You need to book an appointment as soon as possible because spaces fill up. I read a comment about Gordon being aloof. Some people prefer a therapist that acts with a lot of jokes,camaraderie and lots of humor. Personally I value professionalism and most importantly respect when someone will enter my personal space for treatment purposes. As a woman, I have felt uncomfortable at other places when I went for regular massage. At Marpole Physiotherapy I felt comfortable,safe, respected and in good hands at all times. I did not take the time to write this review for the clinic, they will continue to do great whether I provide this review or not. Their service speaks for itself. I mostly do it because when one is not feeling well and in a lot of pain you value being prompted in the right direction, where they will actually help you. Great therapists at this location but more expensive than other clnics…read more Donnie is my regular RMT. He has incredibly strong hands that can dig deep into my muscles and break down the knots. Thomas is another RMT at this Lifemark but his methods are different. He prefers active stretching and movements vs the deep sports massage techniques. Jennifer is a friendly, knowledgeable physiotherapist. We have a love-hate relationship especially when she starts digging into my knots with the needles. She does a great job assessing and providing me with the rehab exercises to facilitate my healing process.
