Awesome doctors and nurses who care about the patients they are taking care of. The only reason…read morethey get 4 stars is their back office is not good. Everything from setting appts to billing can be a hassle. Trying to get a call back is a nightmare. AGAIN love the awesome Doctors and nurses here but back office still needs some work.

I am very disappointed and frustrated with the way my medication plan has been handled. I had an…read moreappointment with Dr. Hayee last Monday, during which my doctor and I discussed and agreed on a new medication plan. He asked me when my next fill date was and told me he would call in the prescriptions. Since my fill date fell on a Friday, I contacted the office when my pharmacy told me they did not receive it. I contacted the office and was told they would leave a message for his assistant. I was assured that my medication would be available to pick up on Saturday, unfortunately that never happed. By Monday morning, I still had not received my medication. I called at 8am and explained the situation again, only to be told they were still waiting for the doctor's approval. (Mind you this should have been approved after our discussion earlier that week) At 9:30am I received a call stating that the doctor was now aware of the situation, but their system was down and they would send the prescriptions when they are able to. This level of communication and follow through is unacceptable. When a doctor and patient agree on a medication plan, I expect the office to follow through in a timely manner, especially when the prescription date has been discussed in advance. I understand that technical issues can happen, but patients should not be left waiting, repeatedly calling and trying to get answers about medication that was already discussed and agreed upon. This experience has been extremely frustrating and has left me disappointed in the office's handeling of my care. I hope this office takes this feedback seriously and improves its communication and prescription management.

Dr. Broadnax is by far THE best pain management doctors I have EVER been to. I am so happy my…read morejourney ends here with Advanced Pain Institute of Texas. Somewhat new to Texas, I have struggled over the last year with finding someone I can put my absolute trust in. From the very first appointment, we had an immediate action plan. I have made more progress in the last 3 months than I've had in 6 years. Living in pain is scary, frustrating, and debilitating. I have seen exactly 4 pain management doctors here in Texas and Dr. B is the one I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone struggling with pain. He is one of the kindest and most intelligent doctors I have ever met. He is patient, understanding, and is a very attentive listener. Always smiling, never judging, I feel safe with Dr. B. I can't say I've ever felt as safe as I do or trusted a pain management doctor the way I do with Dr. B. He is open and honest and doesn't dance around anything. His bed side manner truly is a class act. It is always a pleasant experience from check in to check out. Ashley is always smiling and ridiculously pleasant. His MA Tony, is phenomenal. He is very easy to speak with, get a hold of, is very thorough, and quite frankly makes me smile even when I'm wanting to cry. Both of them do- Dr. B and Tony. They make a really great team. In my 40 years, I've never met a more competent & efficient MA. I'm no longer scared to leave an appointment feeling like I'm missing something and will have to wait until my next appointment to address it. I have struggled greatly in the past with MAs who have lacked knowledge, a sense of urgency, understanding, or had very poor follow up. Not Tony. No Sir. He is on it!! Best MA award goes to Tony. Dr. B has come to us from Chicago as a highly respected doctor. And the mere fact that Tony has joined Dr. Broadnax and Dr. Anderson on their journey here to Texas is not only a testament to the depth of their teamwork but is also a testament of their trust in each other. Which is then genuinely felt by myself, the patient. So if you are a patient like a was; feeling lost, not quite sure what to do, feeling like your pain is your destiny, convinced this is how you're going to have to live the rest of your life, running into oddball pain management doctors who don't seem to listen, want to try experimental injections on you, or just bandaid the pain with medication, please stop and make an appointment. There IS hope and there truly are good doctors in this state. Dr. Broadnax & his partner, Dr. Eric Anderson have blessed Texas by coming here from Chicago. I feel bad for the patients they had to leave behind. But they are both highly educated and intelligent individuals who know how to treat their patients like humans and with kindness.

I called 4 different t times to get details and next steps so I can start my road to recovery. No call backs or a sense of urgency. I finally stopped calling and went elsewhere for care and so happy that I did. 3 months later I received a phone call to check on me and I told the lady on the phone my experience and why I am no longer a patient there. She just said okay and hung up. Two of the times I called, there were roosters and barking in the background so I know their scheduling is working remote. Not a good idea with the service and whoever is doing the follow ups. I want to reach out to the doctor so he knows about his staff but I can't get a hold of him without going through the front desk. Go elsewhere!! Healthcare shouldn't be like this. AWFUL!!

I went to her for EIGHT years. We never talked about pain...we talked about our daughters, mostly…read moremy animals. She implanted a Nevro spine stimulator that is now an absolutely nightmare. Made me have a psych evaluation to do it. I had been seeing the NP Gale & she was surprised I had it & said who did that, not doc right?! I said yes it was doc & I was told it was obsolete & to turn it off. They did not want to remove it, just wanted to put the newest implant in with it. It gives me discomfort to lie on my back, bc I was a back sleeper, it has scar tissue & it hurts me. The MINUTE I told the NP Gale that I was afraid my body had become addicted to hydrocodone bc I had been taking 3 a day for 8 years, all he!! broke loose. I had previously been on antidepressants & I am 100% sure it's bc of my back pain plus I did have a very hard 2024...Bhandari listened to the events in 2024 & said, I need a drink after hearing all this & then asked me if I knew of the place Sip & Savor in Highland Village...her NP gave me an anti depressant, I took it for 30 days, came back & Gale said did it help, I said no & that was the end of it UNTIL I told them the hydrocodone wasn't working. They found Xanax in my drug test & I no longer had a rx, took one of my husband's. Gale told me to get a rx but Bhandari insisted that I go to a psychiatrist to get the rx...I went to my pcp & got the rx & Bhandari was ENRAGED. Her medical assistant taunted me saying "you didn't go where you were supposed to" & I calmly said I did have a rx. I was very confused bc Bhandari's office had given me the anti depressant I had been on. Gale saw me that day & started crying, my husband is a witness, bc I didn't understand why Bhandari was being this way. Gale calked me a week later & said as long as I had Xanax, I could not have hydrocodone...this is simply a LIE. EIGHT years & this is how I was treated. Dr. Bhandari is not a nice person & does not care about pain management, at least not 8 years of mine. I hope Gale gets away from her asap while she still cares, listens & wants to help her patients. Do not go to Dr Bhandari.
