The staff was nice enough, but I went in here with Med-Cal and was told I would need $1,000 worth of work done. I went in because I need a crown replaced! They wanted to give me whitening, perform two root canals, and a deep cleaning. All unnecessary things. They not only gave me this treatment plan they also told me I would be financially responsible for 90% of it. And the proceeded to lock me into a payment plan! Overall horrible experience that I'm still physically and financially trying to repair 2 years later! 2016... Dr. Grace Cho caused more harm than good.After spending $3,000 on a root canal, fillings, and crown, I am in need of FIXING her sub par work. 1st - She completed a root canal on a molar she insisted was infected. In retrospect, I don't even think I needed it. She charged me $950. 2nd - The crown she had created for me had to be redone 3 times since it kept falling off with light chewing. 3rd - The crown is significantly whiter than the rest of my teeth which does not matter in my case but beware if you're getting one in front. 4th - I have TMJD and am unable to open my jaw wide during dental procedures. She grabbed my chin and pushed it down hard so I would open wider and caused me excruciating pain ( I never went back after that). 5th - Her front line staff, Selena in particular, is not the nicest and tries to sell you all sorts of procedures and items you may not need. 6th - The mouth guard I purchased was so uncomfortable and stiff, it was useless. Price was $200. Cut to today in 2018, the molar she completed a root canal on is completely throbbing and the crown has lifted significantly. All fillings and onlays she did have been replaced since they kept breaking and caused my teeth major sensitivity. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. read more

The wait time is horrendous, and the main receptionist is very rude and has no customer service mannerism at all. I understand a weekend may be packed with appointments, and these appointments may or will run over the time. However, asking for when you will be seen after an hour of waiting, over your initial appointment time, should not cause the receptionist to snap at you. Especially when you have bothered to ask before and was not rude in questioning a reasonable question. Also, an announcement of some kind to indicate that the staff is running late should be appropriate when most have been waiting for more than an hour. This dentistry needs better staff, better customer service and a better common sense approach when dealing with the patients. Especially if they wish to keep the patients otherwise risk losing them to other locations that would be of better service. Update: Unfortunately, the dentists and the rest of the staff, did not enjoy my review and actually asked for it to be deleted. However, I am not deleting the review, as it is my experience and opinion of this particular establishment and how the service was disappointing. May be once things are improved and I see that improvement I can do another update but until then this post stays up! read more

Dr. Choo does not do good work. Her work is sub-par and she overcharged me more than $900. She refused to give me my dental work records for review so I had Delta Dental request them and had them audit the charges. Delta Delta found the same "discrepancies" and obligated her to pay me back the overcharge. Lots of unnecessary work and sub-par work was done on my mouth by this rip-off "Dental" office. Crowns were improperly made and kept popping of my teeth. Major rip-off, badly done work and bad dishonest dentist and office staff. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE. YOU WILL REGRET IT. read more

After learning that the dentist I used to go to doesn't take DMO, (just got booted from my parents' PPO insurance) I gave this place a try. I liked the dental nurse. He was very attentive, kept asking if I was okay, double checked to make sure my X-rays were covered by my insurance when I asked. Grace herself was okay. I didn't like how she insisted that I remove all of my wisdom teeth. My wisdom teeth have been in the same position since my teenage years. I've been to many dentists over the past few years and I've even got braces put on and not one doctor said that I should be concerned. So I will not be getting them pulled. What I really didn't like was at the end of my appointment I asked the receptionist if I was good to go. She asked me to smile and then told me I should whiten my teeth. She TOLD me like I ASKED what she thought. She then brought me back again to another chair and showed me using their display where my teeth were at color wise and where they would be once they whitened my teeth. Now I have been thinking about whitening my teeth for a while but I have other things that I want my money to go towards first. I told the receptionist that I would think about it and then she started going on about the payment plan and how they can do it today and gave me some kind of app to fill out. I saw the word "credit" on the app and it was asking for my SSN so I bounced. Don't try to push your crap on me. That only makes me not want to come back. read more

Take your money and go elsewhere. Actually, run elsewhere. These people only want your money. This place used to be tolerable and good, but they have gone downhill. Some of the old, kind staff remain. Over the years, the old staff have been replaced by new staff who are more than willing to scam you. These people try to hassle you into getting procedures you do not need or are not covered by insurance. They will push you to get these unnecessary procedures. Grace Cho tried to hassle me into getting veneers (a cosmetic procedure not covered by insurance) by telling me I had an ugly smile because of my ugly teeth. When I was alone with one of the staff who has been cleaning my teeth for years, they told me not to get it because it was not necessary. The people at the front desk are just as bad as Grace. They are not afraid to lie to avoid confrontation and to get more money. One time, I asked to speak to Grace and I was informed that she was not there. I kid you not, she walks out of her office just as soon as the receptionist finished her sentence. The receptionist "corrected" herself by saying Grace was not in the reception area (which was obvious because you can clearly say that.) Bottom line is that these are dishonest people. The honest staff are slowly being replaced by staff who are not afraid to lie to get more money out of you. Grace will try to get you to undergo unnecessary procedures. If you're unsure whether you need the procedure, go elsewhere and get a second opinion. In face, don't ever come here. Go somewhere with honest people who actually deserve your money. read more

Beware, they are for your money. They say out the total of charges on top of their heads without showing any breakdown of all the possible charges. They overcharge everything, even a simple x-ray copy, they charge $35. I won't even give a star if their was an option. BEWARE! FRAUDS! I am beyond upset and a little disgusted by this office and how they proceed to charge OUTLANDISH prices for procedures MEDI-CAL COVERS. Yesterday, I went in to get a normal check up and to take care of some preexisting cavities I've known about. Sure enough, they found that my front "3" teeth were slightly chipped and needed veneers. They went on and tried to scare me by telling me it's going to get worse and then if I don't take care of it now I might need a root canal?? makes no sense. Anyway, they told me it was going to be a GRAND TOTAL of $2,500 and they wouldn't charge me for my cavities and the composite fillings. They were quick to try to make me sign a loan for that amount ( I was skeptical). After the office manager INSISTED on speaking to my mother to convince her that I absolutely need these procedures done. When we finally decided not to go with it and just take care of my cavities; they told me Medical only covers the silver looking fillings and not the white composite filings. Each white filling was going to cost $110. Long story short, I rescheduled my appointment. I later called Medical to check what they cover and SURE ENOUGH! Medical covers ALL my cavities INCLUDING the WHITE Filling. These people are a joke! take your business else where! read more

Let's get started; while back I came to this dentist business in hope to find a better dentist for my teeth. I'm young and my mother takes care of me (Thank You). The dentist constantly told me I had cavities EACH VISIT and that dumb "Dr" Cho as well argued that I must get braces and spend $1000. Like how tf do you get cavities if I brush, floss, clean and get xrays to assure no cavities are forming. I got many fillings (which now up to this date I think weren't necessary) and my mother would get furious at me. Then one day I got a cavity, only 1. It still required an appointment for filling. Here comes the fun part, Selena informed us that she will make an appointment....She never freaking did. 6 months go by and when I come again, they tell me I have like +5 cavities and reqiure enlays(if that's how their called). It was just too suspicious and Cho and Selena constantly bragged that my mother and I have to pay +$750. Both were very manipulative and say that they were on my side and I must get it for my own good. I believed her but I was young and dumb and thankfully my mother made right decisions and we argued and got second opinions from 3 other dentist without telling Cho. All 3 told me I never had a god damn cavity. -Please people save your money and go somewhere else and save yourself some health issues from rising in the future. -My personal opinion and statement of this "business" so nope don't bother. read more

Just switched because she is so close to where I live and that makes it so convenient. Was so happy the doctor is gentle and attentive. Got my exam done and fixed a chipped filling that was bothering me. I was expecting to be told I have 100 cavities as I have come to discover a lot of dentists do but everything was fine and I appreciate her honesty. Staff was very sweet too. I was born with a curse, my mouth, everything one could expect to go wrong has happened to me. I hold stress in my jaw so I grind, and really bad. I've had braces with Dr. Salmassian (my orthodontist), implants and caps with Dr. Cho, Dr. Razi (Periodontist) and all really nice and very caring doctors. I'm not kidding... I've had work done by all of them multiple times. Lol At first, wasn't impressed with the office and the because I was used to the fancy BH Doctors, but after going on 5 yrs, they are like family. I went to this dentist to remove a wisdom tooth. After my X-rays she said I had a lot of cavities which were not bothering me at all. Anyway she said it would be best to treat the cavities now before it gets worse. She fixed my cavities so close to my nerve that now I need a few root canals. She said that it would take a few months for the sensitivity to go away. It has only gotten worse. These three months have been torture. She charged me $2200 but she knew very well that I needed a root canal but she "treated" my cavities first with fillings to get my money that way first. I will never go back here again. read more

HORRIBLE to say the least. Stay away.... staff are super shady. Dentist and staff make it as though all the dental produces are mandatory and you don't have options for the "Needed" work.The staff are very pushy and talked as though you said yes to procedures. I said all I want is a cleaning and don't want to delay with you trying to make me have other work done.Then to top it off she starts to run my credit without me signing or looking at any terms & condition from the credit card company(RED FLAG), this got me so upset I was like just give me my cleaning to the first person I spoke to, then another lady came in saying she need to take another picture of my teeth and said why I not doing anything else to my teeth but having them cleaned. She lie and say, "oh we want to see if the insurance will cover the work" (RED FLAG), but everything was already listed with my copay and I said No. I questioned her more why they were doing it then she was like, "oh they won't cover it". I was mad and asked to have my cleaning done and no more delays and she seem upset and was like oh well be not rushing the tech and she escorted me out the room. I couldn't believe I sat through all this. I didn't even have my teeth clean but guess that was a good things since how they operated. read more
