I arrived at 6:20 and the front parking was full (there's like, 7-8 spots max including handicapped) so I followed the sign to park in the back. What I did not know, unfortunately, was that the gate to the back closes at 6:30. Cue 10 minutes later an employee shouting that anyone parked in the back needed to move. I asked if I could quickly check out with the (one) item I had, and their response was essentially "no." So I moved my car - but again, no parking in the front so I was basically forced to leave without the item I wanted. I'm sure the staff here are wonderful. But for your trip, I would recommend planning to leave before 6:30 or you might be sorta screwed. It's unlikely I'll be back.

That being said, the labor the staff gives to this place is a labor of love and service. They are friendly and helpful. The selection varies based on their donations. On most visits they have a light selection of furniture in the front, with clothing, housewares, books, kitchenware, glassware, etc are in the middle and back. At first glance to be honest, most of the prices seemed a bit high. I had to keep reminding myself that this is for a charity. The other thing is that it is all on sale, so the sale prices are more in line with the market value of most of the items. Another note to know before you come here is that while most of the items are nice, their line of "Upscale Resale" may be a bit of a stretch. Nonetheless, my visit to this shop was pleasant as have been all of them and I will keep coming back to check for new merchandise!

There were a couple of tiny tears around one elbow and I sewed the hanging nylon and with all the puffer action, you can't even tell I repaired it. He is very happy with his purchase! Since it was right before Halloween, we were looking at costumes, etc. I found a cute girls pumpkin dress and while I was there I sent a pic to my niece, but she already had something similar. They had everything arranged so nicely and the store was well lit. They had some very nice brand name clothing items and the prices were great! And, the best thing of all is that the proceeds from the store benefit the counseling and services available to patrons that need their help.

Their employees are not paid!!!! The 90% off sales are insane and We love seeing their volunteers friendly faces every time we go in. Being a Single mom of 2 boys this place has been an absolute blessing for name brand clothing for them and the best spot for teacher and classmate gifts! Saved a ton of money buying nice used sports equipment here as well. I go once a week at least sometimes twice. As far as the mask comments, I choose not to wear one. The volunteers are of many ethnic backgrounds and I've never , ever seen any racially motivated anything happening in this store !!! About 10 minutes later, while I was still shopping, three employees approached me, surrounded my cart, and one of them removed the table without any explanation. Confused, I asked what was going on, and that's when they told me the item had already been sold. The issue is, there was no "sold" sign on the table, and it was sitting in the front area mixed in with other furniture that appeared available. As a customer, there was no way to know it wasn't for sale. I honestly got the vibe an employee wanted it. I asked to speak with a manager and explained how uncomfortable the situation felt. Not only was an item taken directly from my cart, but the way it was handled--being approached by multiple employees and not given an explanation upfront--was frustrating and unprofessional. I also questioned how something could be considered "sold" while it was still out on the floor with no indication. I was told it had already been purchased by someone else, and they took it away. What made the situation worse was that there was no apology--just a repeated explanation of what happened on their end (understaffing) which only added to my frustration. They had no employees to help the customer however, 3 employees were able to surround me in the aisle? I've never had an experience like this at a thrift store--or any store. Typically, items are either clearly marked as sold with a tag or removed from the sales floor. This situation felt disorganized and poorly handled. It's disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite stores in the area, but based on this experience, I won't be returning.

The layout can be a bit confusing at times. For example, shoes are placed above clothing racks, which made browsing slightly less easy. One big plus is that they have both dressing rooms and bathrooms, which is very convenient if you plan on spending a good amount of time shopping. However, the dressing room hours are a bit unclear--they seemed to close around 7 pm on weekdays, which is about an hour before the store itself closes.
