We were able to display my father-in-law's beloved Model T in front of the funeral home which was extremely meaningful to us. The funeral home had plenty of comfortable seating. There is the main room for the viewing but they also have have large side living room areas for people who may may want to step out of the main room. This was also great for some of the youngest family members. The next day when my father-in-law was taken to the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, he was personally driven there by Patricia Ralph. She was able to speak to the cemetery to get a special exception to allow the family to see the casket lowered into the ground. It is not something they normally allow and it was very appreciated. We felt extremely cared for by T.M Ralph during all aspects of the funeral. They made a difficult time easier.

What an embarrassment that my uncle's burial paperwork was not completed nor paid to the cemetery. We had the church service nearby, hundreds made a procession through the rain to the cemetery, and to be turned back around because they didn't have a plot nor tomb ready for us. The cemetery didn't get paid by the funeral home and they wanted their money. We took everyone back to their office and had a VERY unprofessional conversation with the manager and owner(s). They expected us to pay again because someone in their office didn't document payment properly and didn't reserve a spot for my uncles body. Shouldn't someone have called or at least tell us at the church? It was pouring down rain and we had my parents along with many other elderly family members dangerously wading through water in their parking lot. Some had been sitting for hours and needed to use the restrooms and I ordered refreshments to hold us over (additional unexpected expenses). My father was the last living sibling of my uncle and all we wanted was to give my uncle a good farewell. Hours later we were able to get things worked out but it was not a pretty scene. I've complained with the BBB and governing bodies, however, people need to know what kind of business practices they're up against. There are many other classy and decent funeral homes in the area such St. Forts Funeral Home.

The hospital did not have burial services so I was responsible for transporting my daughter's body directly from the morgue to the funeral home. It made grieving even more difficult being asked questions like "Do you want to bury her or cremate her?" I wanted to say "NEITHER! She should be alive here with me!" Some funeral directors were cold and just focused on making a sale. Some were empathic, but Ms. Avis went the extra mile. She was very warm and genuine. She really cared about my grief and my financial situation. She even drove me to the cemetery on the day we buried my baby girl. We were able to have friends' and family's financial support with a GOFUNDME to help pay for a very beautiful headstone. When you're so deep in grief and lose a loved one unexpectedly, you NEED someone to comfort, support, and help you make decisions about things you don't have much time to think through. We were really blessed to have Ms. Avis and her team be there for us during one of the most difficult times in our life.

We were not permitted inside the chapel, held hostage in the lobby for this reason. You are ultimately, hands-down, full of vile and disrespect for the mourning. Shame on all of you, with nothing but dollar signs in your eyes and undeserving to work with the public, especially those that are mourning. Get your act together or go home.
