When I came in person, I was told that the doctor no longer wanted to work with me and was simply advised to take 800 mg of ibuprofen instead of the 400 mg I had been taking. Instead of examining the issue or checking the bridge, no effort was made to identify the cause or fix the problem. Throughout the treatment, it felt rushed and primarily money-driven. My concerns were dismissed, and I felt talked down to. The cost estimates contained multiple errors. I strongly recommend double-checking all estimates. My experience was truly disappointing. Don't make the same mistake.

However, after submitting part of their bill to our insurance company and receiving payment they balance billed us. In addition they never submitted a claim to our insurance company for another portion of the procedure. Despite speaking with Karen on multiple occasions they refused to refund us our balance and insisted that they had submitted the claim. Even our insurance company confirmed that they had not. Now 9 months later, after filing a Complaint with the State and Cigna, they submitted that claim. After everything was submitted they owe us over $1,000 and still insist they don't despite our insurance company confirming that our numbers are in fact accurate. Their billing department does not know how to read EOBs and that is very concerning. This experience is the reason for the low review, they are a reflection of his entire office.

She had me deal with a top Periodontist to have some teeth extracted. That went very well and then she somehow worked with a lab (magic?) and had me fit with temporary teeth the next day. The cost was very fair and I felt well taken care of. The follow up from Dr. Hamarnah and her staff was excellent. My case was extremely complex and required a lot of individual attention and research. I find his pricing more than competitive particularly in the complex field of implants. He is not a cookie cutter operation that sends you out in one day with a supposed restoration. Implants need to settle for a minimum of a few months before crowns can be attached. Any other methodology is inferior dental care and can lead to many complications.

Sooooo - today I went. I arrived 10 minutes early and was taken back right on time only to be told that they needed to take xrays because that other place didn't send mine. I explained that I would not do that as I just had them 6 months ago and my insurance would certainly not pay again. The hygienist then said "can't you just pay 29.00 for another set? NO!!!! Why would I do that? Why didn't you call me to let me know they had not yet arrived? I then called the other place and they sent them to my phone but that took some time. The hygienist shoved that pick into my gums so far it hurt. I have NEVER had that happen. Then she proceeded to tell me that I needed a deep root cleaning - - ummmmmm I actually fell for that 18 months ago and did it and paid for it and then did cleanings every 3 months for a year. NO - I won't do that again. I was then told that they wouldn't do the cleaning today because that's not what I needed and insurance wouldn't pay based on my xrays - - I replied that insurance paid in March with the same xrays!!! They referred me to a periodondist - - - guess where - - in another branch of their own practice. Not Kosher!! The search continues - -

We discussed the process of all the work I was to have done, The tech advised I would need to go to their office in Delray to see their specialist and I would be working with Canyons on removing all my teeth and providing the temporary dentures. In which Canyons provided a quote on that. I never even spoke to the dentist until I was on my way out the door and that's only because she was standing in the waiting room. I had previously been to 4 other dentists whose costs all came in roughly the same. Canyons quoted 6 thousand dollars greater than any of them. After working extensively with Jenn in Delray who was excellent, I decided to use the Delray office for all the work, and they were right in line with pricing. I received a notification from my insurance company that someone submitted a claim around 2 weeks ago for a charge from canyons, which was denied so then I received a text on a Sunday that I owe Canyons $145,00... My project is going to cost upwards of $20.000. Of course I spoke with an office manager in Canyons who denied they just submitted the claim to my insurance company, I asked for a phone number to their corporate office where this woman advised there is no phone number but she would have her manager get back to me
