Dax Dental is now Kamouni Dentistry. I recently went in to get an implant. Dr Kamouni and his staff were excellent. From making the appointment with Leah whose sunny disposition puts a smile on any face, to getting x-rays with Sana, who is lovely and then the real rock star Dr Kamouni. He immediately put me at ease, explaining step by step the implant procedure, timeline and what to expect. When it was time for the actual procedure it was quick and easy. After the Novocain wore off I took 2 advil and that was all the pain relief I needed. By evening everything felt great. On top of all of this... the pricing is great! a difference a year makes since i left a 5 star review. I made an appointment for today at 3:30 p.m. they called me asked me to move it up to 1:00 p.m. I said it would not be a problem and explained I needed to be done at 2:00 p.m. if that wasn't an issue. I get there at 1:00 p.m. said hello and took a seat. Sat for 15 minutes without anyone even acknowleding me or letting me know they were running late or anything so I had enough and finally walked out as they would not be able to get me done on time as promised. As a son of a dentist who did dentristy for over 50 years the first appointment went well and even he was pleased with the dentist but it seems that they have gone downhill for whatever reason. If you schedule someoen for a time and you are running late perhaps tell them rather than make them just sit there. I will have to go find another dentist which won't be an issue but dont' ask people to come in earlier and after they make it clear they need to be done at a certain time which you understood you don't let them sit around. they followed up to my other review and claimed someone had an emergency, but that was not the case because I was there to see the hygienist not the dentist and that's in two separate rooms. There were two people when I came in and checked in no one told me about anything so it doesn't add up unfortunately, my opinion it's become very money orientated dentistry where Money comes before patients, which is what most of the corporate dentistry places like Aspen are about. it's sad because I thought I had found a good old-fashioned dentist who cared about patients. It seems it's now money grab in my opinion. I will never go there again read more

DAX Dental is truly as good as it gets in Palm Beach county! After visiting about 1/2 a dozen "great" dentists in Palm Beach area over a 3 year period including Spodak, Bauer, etc... I accidentally stumbled upon Dax last year. What an incredible find and what a wonderful dentist Dr. Xen is. Not only does she have a great hand and amazing bedside manner, she truly cares about her patients. She takes the time to connect with me and other patients. I was so concerned about having 2 wisdom teeth removed bc when I had my first 2 removed years ago with another dentist, it was literally torture...pain, swelling, drooling, etc. Dr Xen promised it wouldn't be that bad this time...and she was right!! An easy in-office procedure. She prescribed some minor pain meds but I never needed them! There was sooo little pain, (I couldn't even call it pain so I'll call it discomfort) that I even questioned whether she had actually taken the wisdom teeth out...so she gave them to me! Anyways, she's not in this just to make a buck like other places are; Dr Xen truly wants to make a difference in people's lives. I LOVE DAX dental and have found my dentist for life! Dax Dental - Dr Xen getting my teeth super white & bright! - Cosmetic Dentists Near Me - Delray Beach, Florida

I recently gained dental insurance and decided to try a new dentist that accepts insurance. I haven't had any issues with my teeth in almost 20 years, I went in for a routine cleaning. Dr zen said I had an old filling that needed a small shallow hole repaired. The dentist was very rough and aggressive, although I had been numbed, it was very painful. After two weeks, drinking anything hot I had pain. I went back to my previous dentist to find out that she had drilled too far and a hairline away from my nerve. I am now being sent to a specialist for a possible root canal. My previous dentist said there is no reason why she touched the tooth that it wasn't anything that should had been done to that tooth but to keep an eye on it. I would not reccomend this dentist. read more

We recently moved to Delray and we came across Dax Dental. We wanted to try it out so my boyfriend went in for a cleaning. After already paying they tell him they would have to put him under to do it. Ive never heard of having to go under just to have your teeth cleaned. One word comes to mind when I think of Dax, Impressive. Yelp reviews are what initially brought me here, and I am happy to report the reviews not only live up to their claims, but in my opinion - surpass them. The ladies at the front desk are super friendly and welcoming (unfortunately, we all know this is usually not the case at most doctor's offices). My 5 year old niece was with me and everyone at the office helped keep her occupied and interacted with her, which is way above and beyond the norm. A BIG thank you for that! The office is cute and clean, and for a Delray resident like myself - a perfect location. The doctor was friendly, attentive and addressed an issue I had always wanted to ask past dentist's about but since it was an aesthetic issue, it's never come up. Solved that. X-rays, cleaning - everything was thorough but efficient. You know how you usually have one complaint, even a minor one - well I don't. Seriously, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Best part? They're open SATURDAY'S!!! Like HELLO to every other medical office in America. Most humans work M-F and Saturday hours make sense. Get on board people! Dr. Xen is very hands on and not your normal dentist. She likes to get to know you and actually cares whilst getting those teeth where they need to be. Her team of professionals are quick, honest, and welcoming. They do an excellent job at making you feel at home and explaining things to you. Everything is upfront. Had been looking for the right dentist for a long time. I have major anxiety about dentists due to previous dental botches. I am so glad I found Dr.Xen. The whole staff are awesome. They all made me feel so calm and comfortable. Dr.Xen is very gentle and had an amazing bed side manner which made me feel very comfortable and confident in her abilities. She was able to address some large fillings I needed done and was patient, calm and always made sure I was in no pain the whole treatment. She told me future work I needed to get done and I really trust her. I had to move for work for the summer, so went t a very reputable family Dentist in Chicago a week ago to continue getting the work she recommended and he complimented Dr.Xen's work. Excellent customer service and top notch care! One thing I really loved about my experience with Dax Dental was the convenient live communication via text from the office! With my demanding work schedule, it's tough to actually get on the phone during the day; hence I was pleasantly surprised to be able to communicate with the office manager, Jess, via live text exchanges! Jess made sure to handle all of my paperwork ahead of time and even sent me reminders for my appointment. Talk about great service. Also, upon arrival, there was no wait time. I was seen immediately! I appreciated how Dax Dental honors their patients time. Further, my appointment was for a cleaning and to fix a front chipped tooth. First, the hygienist, Jorge, was not only kind but incredibly skilled. Jorge checked in with me several times throughout the cleaning to see if I was experiencing any discomfort (which I never did), and I felt he did a thorough job in tending to every tooth. I left the cleaning pain free and with a sparkling smile! Second, the dentist, Dr. Xen, transformed my chipped front tooth into a work of art! I was feeling self conscious about my chipped tooth for so long but after Dr. Xen's pristine craftsmanship and attention to detail, I have never been more confident about my smile. Had an tooth infection on a Saturday. Called Dax Dental and they immediately scheduled me to come in right away! On a Saturday! I rushed over and Dr. Xen had to pull a infected wisdom out.
