Dax Dental is now Kamouni Dentistry. I recently went in to get an implant. Dr Kamouni and his staff were excellent. From making the appointment with Leah whose sunny disposition puts a smile on any face, to getting x-rays with Sana, who is lovely and then the real rock star Dr Kamouni. He immediately put me at ease, explaining step by step the implant procedure, timeline and what to expect. When it was time for the actual procedure it was quick and easy. After the Novocain wore off I took 2 advil and that was all the pain relief I needed. By evening everything felt great. On top of all of this... the pricing is great! I can't recommend Kamouni dentistry enough. read more

a difference a year makes since i left a 5 star review. I made an appointment for today at 3:30 p.m. they called me asked me to move it up to 1:00 p.m. I said it would not be a problem and explained I needed to be done at 2:00 p.m. if that wasn't an issue. I get there at 1:00 p.m. said hello and took a seat. Sat for 15 minutes without anyone even acknowleding me or letting me know they were running late or anything so I had enough and finally walked out as they would not be able to get me done on time as promised. As a son of a dentist who did dentristy for over 50 years the first appointment went well and even he was pleased with the dentist but it seems that they have gone downhill for whatever reason. If you schedule someoen for a time and you are running late perhaps tell them rather than make them just sit there. I will have to go find another dentist which won't be an issue but dont' ask people to come in earlier and after they make it clear they need to be done at a certain time which you understood you don't let them sit around. they followed up to my other review and claimed someone had an emergency, but that was not the case because I was there to see the hygienist not the dentist and that's in two separate rooms. There were two people when I came in and checked in no one told me about anything so it doesn't add up unfortunately, my opinion it's become very money orientated dentistry where Money comes before patients, which is what most of the corporate dentistry places like Aspen are about. it's sad because I thought I had found a good old-fashioned dentist who cared about patients. It seems it's now money grab in my opinion. I will never go there again read more

My once told me that somewhere is the world's worst doctor, and sadly, someone will be walking into his/her office. I will tell my kids that somewhere is the world's most delightful and talented dentist, and happily, someone will be walking into Dr. Xen's office to meet her for the first time like I did today. Dr. Xen (pronounced "Zen") is a straight shooter. She tells it like it is. You'll walk out of her office making a new friend and you'll look forward to seeking her again. Your teeth, both fake and real will thank you! read more

DAX Dental is truly as good as it gets in Palm Beach county! After visiting about 1/2 a dozen "great" dentists in Palm Beach area over a 3 year period including Spodak, Bauer, etc... I accidentally stumbled upon Dax last year. What an incredible find and what a wonderful dentist Dr. Xen is. Not only does she have a great hand and amazing bedside manner, she truly cares about her patients. She takes the time to connect with me and other patients. I was so concerned about having 2 wisdom teeth removed bc when I had my first 2 removed years ago with another dentist, it was literally torture...pain, swelling, drooling, etc. Dr Xen promised it wouldn't be that bad this time...and she was right!! An easy in-office procedure. She prescribed some minor pain meds but I never needed them! There was sooo little pain, (I couldn't even call it pain so I'll call it discomfort) that I even questioned whether she had actually taken the wisdom teeth out...so she gave them to me! Anyways, she's not in this just to make a buck like other places are; Dr Xen truly wants to make a difference in people's lives. I LOVE DAX dental and have found my dentist for life! So if you're tired of getting ripped off by Spodak & co, I welcome all to come along for this awesome ride! read more

Dax Dental - Dr Xen getting my teeth super white & bright! - Cosmetic Dentists Near Me - Delray Beach, Florida

I recently gained dental insurance and decided to try a new dentist that accepts insurance. I haven't had any issues with my teeth in almost 20 years, I went in for a routine cleaning. Dr zen said I had an old filling that needed a small shallow hole repaired. The dentist was very rough and aggressive, although I had been numbed, it was very painful. After two weeks, drinking anything hot I had pain. I went back to my previous dentist to find out that she had drilled too far and a hairline away from my nerve. I am now being sent to a specialist for a possible root canal. My previous dentist said there is no reason why she touched the tooth that it wasn't anything that should had been done to that tooth but to keep an eye on it. I would not reccomend this dentist. read more

Highly recommend Dax Dental! As soon as I called to make an appointment I was greated with a warm welcome. As I walked into the office, Dr. Xen greeted me at the door and all I can say is that her positive vibes and energy made me feel calm and confident that she was the right dental professional for me. She is very thorough and meticulous however has EXCELLENT bedside manners. She is the dentist I would recommend to all my family and friends. You will not be disappointed coming to this practice! Update: in LOVE with my new pearly whites. Dr. Xen did a dope job with my invisalign. Very happy! read more

Since I am new to the area. I utilized Yelp to find a great dental practice. And that I did. Since leaving my home town. I've searched long and hard to find a great place. From start to finish this was the best of the best. Every thing was straight forward and transparent. See you in six months for my cleaning again. read more

This is hands down the best dental office anywhere. Ever. The staff is so friendly and Dr. Xen was so informative. I never knew I wasn't brushing properly- nobody ever told me! Dr. Xen took the time to actually show me what I was doing wrong and I can already tell the difference!!!! I actually look forward to going to the dentist now!!! read more

For the fist time in my life, I know that I will never dread going to the dentist again!! The moment you walk in to her office you are welcomed by a happy and professional staff. I don't know about you but I believe that how the front office behaves is quite often an indication of the doctor's personality. This is definitely the case with Dax Dental. Dr. Xen makes me feel confident and completely relaxed. It is very hard to find competent and caring physicians who take the time to explain what they are doing and why. Her warm personality, knowledge and skills are the perfect combination. She has put together a great practice and I celebrate and recommend her highly. read more

Dr Z is just the best. She makes you feel like you have a family member who is a dentist. Very personable and most important good at what she does. Just try her once. You will get hooked like I did read more

Had my bridge redone here and could not be happier! Dr Xen helped me pick the color and also suggested I add a little transparency to make it look more natural, no one could ever notice it now. Love it!! read more

Dr Xen is such a sweetheart, my friend recommended her and he was right! Her staff is just as nice. She was very patient and gentle. Gave me all the options up front and prices were very good. I'm a new patient for life read more

We recently moved to Delray and we came across Dax Dental. We wanted to try it out so my boyfriend went in for a cleaning. After already paying they tell him they would have to put him under to do it. Ive never heard of having to go under just to have your teeth cleaned. They were very pushy and unprofessional which made him uncomfortable. Neither of us will be back and we would never recommend this place to anyone else. read more

I have always had teeth challenges for as long as I could remember. I found Dr Zen on here as she had really good reviews and I wanted the best possible dentist with my teeth condition. From the moment I walked in until I went back with Dr Zen was perfect. All of her staff is so friendly and explained everything perfectly. I love Dr Zen. She is such a sweetheart and truly cares about her patients! At first I felt overwhelmed by all that I needed done but she made me feel at peace about everything and offered amazing discounts on top of my insurance benefits so I could finally finish everything sooner! I highly recommend Dr Zen...she is the best dentist I have ever had read more

By far the best dental office I have been to in South Glorida. The staff are great, pleasant and professional! Dr. Xen was incredibly knowledgeable and communicated very well. She does the dental cleaning herself and was attentive to all the areas that needed extra work. I recommend this dental practice and if there were more than 5 stars I would award more! read more

One word comes to mind when I think of Dax, Impressive. Yelp reviews are what initially brought me here, and I am happy to report the reviews not only live up to their claims, but in my opinion - surpass them. The ladies at the front desk are super friendly and welcoming (unfortunately, we all know this is usually not the case at most doctor's offices). My 5 year old niece was with me and everyone at the office helped keep her occupied and interacted with her, which is way above and beyond the norm. A BIG thank you for that! The office is cute and clean, and for a Delray resident like myself - a perfect location. The doctor was friendly, attentive and addressed an issue I had always wanted to ask past dentist's about but since it was an aesthetic issue, it's never come up. Solved that. X-rays, cleaning - everything was thorough but efficient. You know how you usually have one complaint, even a minor one - well I don't. Seriously, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Best part? They're open SATURDAY'S!!! Like HELLO to every other medical office in America. Most humans work M-F and Saturday hours make sense. Get on board people! I'll be back at Dax in September, looking forward to it. read more

Very friendly staffs. Dr Xen is very good with my two boys, very friendly and professional. Highly recommended

I'm totally unsatisfied with XEN Troung at Dax dental. She drill crazy, chipped my tooth, sloppy fillings and she act like she done me a favor girl bye, I paid her my money I earned. I hope she read this, I wish you would. done what you needed to do and not what you wanted do to my beautiful long teeth. I didn't deserved a botched dental job, dental work is too expensive to be playing with my teeth. read more

Dr. Xen is literally the best! She is such a perfectionist. I used to be afraid of going to the dentist because they would always find some kind of problem with my teeth and slap me with a projected bill of X amount of money. Xen is honest and straight forward. The office is very inviting and it truly makes me want to take care of my teeth. I'm so thankful that I decided to come here. I'm afraid of ever moving because I'll lose DAX Dental! I'm not even kidding! read more

Great experience, was referred to by a friend and was impressed with the customer service from the front office. Everyone in the office was great to deal with, I would highly recommend. read more

Dr. Xen is very hands on and not your normal dentist. She likes to get to know you and actually cares whilst getting those teeth where they need to be. Her team of professionals are quick, honest, and welcoming. They do an excellent job at making you feel at home and explaining things to you. Everything is upfront. It doesn't look or feel like a dentist office, so you don't get the jitters of "the dentist" it feels like home. I would recommend this experience to everyone and this will be my primary dentist. First experience is incredible, I'll go for a second, third, forth and so on! read more

Had been looking for the right dentist for a long time. I have major anxiety about dentists due to previous dental botches. I am so glad I found Dr.Xen. The whole staff are awesome. They all made me feel so calm and comfortable. Dr.Xen is very gentle and had an amazing bed side manner which made me feel very comfortable and confident in her abilities. She was able to address some large fillings I needed done and was patient, calm and always made sure I was in no pain the whole treatment. She told me future work I needed to get done and I really trust her. I had to move for work for the summer, so went t a very reputable family Dentist in Chicago a week ago to continue getting the work she recommended and he complimented Dr.Xen's work. So I am happy to know when I head back to Florida in the winter, I have a dentist I can now trust there. Don't hesitate to go to her, you will love her. read more

Excellent customer service and top notch care! One thing I really loved about my experience with Dax Dental was the convenient live communication via text from the office! With my demanding work schedule, it's tough to actually get on the phone during the day; hence I was pleasantly surprised to be able to communicate with the office manager, Jess, via live text exchanges! Jess made sure to handle all of my paperwork ahead of time and even sent me reminders for my appointment. Talk about great service. Also, upon arrival, there was no wait time. I was seen immediately! I appreciated how Dax Dental honors their patients time. Further, my appointment was for a cleaning and to fix a front chipped tooth. First, the hygienist, Jorge, was not only kind but incredibly skilled. Jorge checked in with me several times throughout the cleaning to see if I was experiencing any discomfort (which I never did), and I felt he did a thorough job in tending to every tooth. I left the cleaning pain free and with a sparkling smile! Second, the dentist, Dr. Xen, transformed my chipped front tooth into a work of art! I was feeling self conscious about my chipped tooth for so long but after Dr. Xen's pristine craftsmanship and attention to detail, I have never been more confident about my smile. All in all, I had a great experience at Dax Dental - couldn't recommend them more enough! 10/10. read more

Dr. Xen and her staff were fantastic. Her office has a very welcoming atmosphere with great high-end equipment. I will be a repeat patient!

Dr. Xen Truong is by far the most compassionate and professional dentist. My baby sister was absolutely terrified of the dentist and would never let anyone put their hands near her teeth. Yet somehow, Dr. Xen was able to work her magic and efficiently perform extractions and fillings on my sister. Talk about patience, diligence, and an amazing charismatic personality more dentists should have! Beautiful and clean office, friendly and trustworthy staff, Dax Dental is the place I refer all my family and friends to now. read more

Dental appointments made easy. Dr. Truong is a dentist full of life! I drive 45 mins to come see her! Gental as can be but most importantly she's very reasonable as well. Not pushy like my previous dentist. She's goes into detail and explains everything about procedures. Nice and frienldy staff as well. read more

Came here for a teeth cleaning and found the staff to be friendly, but generally unprofessional. Then dentist is younger and seems not to value the patients concerns or opinions. She was very pushy and downright derogatory towards me. A dentist who isn't willing to have a two way conversation about my care is not a dentist I want to have. Thanks but no thanks. I left feeling like I had done something wrong. read more

The staff is amazing, they are diligent and professional. Dr.Xen is a delight she is very thorough and honest. Dr Xen and her entire staff are amazing. I had a dental emergency when I moved here. They saw me on Saturday and took care of of the problem. They worked around my work schedule on every appointment. I then had another dental emergency...same experience...excellent care! I lost a tooth and Dr Xen made a bridge for me. She made sure it was perfect. I hate hate hate going to the dentist.
