This office is the worst establishment I have ever been to. I took my kid here and the first thing I noticed was that the office smelled like pure weed once I got to the back area. Are these employees high while doing procedures??? This is very unprofessional . My Invisalign case took forever to get there and to give all my money up front and then not hear anything back for months while I actively try to get my order, I felt like I was getting scammed. Whoever is in charge needs to be fired. But I will give credit where it was due. The only thing nice about this orthodontist were the 2 Hispanic ladies at the front. Except for the white women who was very rude when asking me to check in without saying hello or anything. Never again will I come back here! read more

Everyone knows that any such procedures done well are costly. I've had friends who had their teeth done with "second opinions" and now they're in their 20's and having root canals all for a silly "cheaper price". Somethings aren't about money, but KNOWLEDGE. You don't select Doctors on price but upon EXCELLENCE. MY STORY: I've needed to get my teeth straighten ever since I was 13 years old but my mom never had the money to get them for me so at the age of 18 after I graduated and started working my part time I was finally able to take this step (as dental health has always been very important to me). The thing was that my k9s where so high in my gums that they looked like vampire fangs- both the lower and upper jaws, aside from the fact that I have a small mouth. I have an uncle who's a dentist and every time he saw me he would tell me that in his experience it would be very hard for me to be a candidate for Invisalign because my treatment would have to be very intense. But I started looking into Invisalign anyway and went ahead onto the Invisalign website to find options. They had a "look for a doctor" link so I decided to select a couple of the most qualified doctors to visit for their options on my treatment. First on the list was Dr.Hier- he had the most advance technology as well as the most experience in recent Invisalign procedures. So I decided to give it a shot, I wasn't giving in so easily to the brace-face destiny. IN THE OFFICE: I went in the office skeptical, I only wanted an opinion after all....and it was delightful. I didn't even have to think it twice. It just felt like I had found the right place. First off his staff, they were the sweetest! They made my mom feel comfortable because she doesn't speak much English and his staff was able to communicate with her so she was always in the loop. Everything was clear both for me and for her. They truly felt like they wanted to help. Second, the consult was absolutely FREE! Lastly, Dr. Heir proposed the Invisalign treatment plan for me after all! It was amazing news! I only wore braces in my molars for two months to anchor my k9s back a bit and they were absolutely clear, no one ever even noticed I had braces; then onto Invisalign! :) the process was immediate! I started that same day with X-rays and other exams. Oh!!! I cannot forget to mention Dr. Hier's hands are SO gentle! As you can imagine my small mouth would tear at the edges every time I had work done, and most doctors wouldn't care, but Dr. Hier was patient with me and understood, and there's nothing better than a doctor with a precise and gentle touch. TODAY: I'm on the second part of my treatment now! Everyone compliments my smile! ...all I can say to those people is you need to thank Dr.Hier and Milca and Angie and Sonia and everyone in that office because they truly work together to make my beautiful smile the way it is today! I've enjoyed every office visit for the past two years! My cousin is also being treated by him, and recently my mom, in her 50+ years of age! it's never too late! PRICE: I paid just about $5.8K in total and I'm not ashamed to say it because I would pay every penny all over again. I had just turn 18 at the time and knew it was worth it! I make comfortable payments monthly as they worked with me through various possible plans. I'm just about 21 and the payments are no burden even through my part time job. If a young adult like me can do it, anyone can do it. I even pay my moms treatment now. She totally deserves nothing but the BEST. CONCLUSION: I recommend Dr. Hier to everyone I know! I wouldn't take valuable time to post a comment on this website if I didn't find it unjust and absolutely ridiculous for someone to complain because they're just plain cheap. You're investing on YOUR health and well being. Jeessshhh! In the end, the fancy office was just a plus, nothing better than looking up into the sky to be relaxed..... I purposely waited until the day my daughter was getting her braces off, before writing a review. Without question, Dr. Palmer is one of the finest people (notice how i didn't say doctor) that i've had the pleasure to meet. Of course, as a Doctor, she is truly a one-of-a-kind! The care and patience that she has displayed throughout my daughter's 2 year experience, is mind boggling. Never once, have I seen Dr. Palmer without a smile on her face. She is somebody that loves what she does, and truly has passion at her craft. However, the experience you will get, starts well before you even meet Dr. Palmer. I can't say enough about her staff. As professional as they come. Always eager to make the patient and parents happy. I have to say that before I began writing this review, i peeked at the other reviews for Dr. Palmer. Clearly, there are many others that appreciate a true pro. That said, I also noticed a 1-star review, which I read thoroughly. Clearly, this was a patient that perhaps had a relationship with Dr. Hier, and didn't like the fact that he retired. I too, dealt with Dr. Hier for my first 2 children. He was phenomenal. In fact, I too was a little bit concerned as we were ready to hand off our 3rd child to Dr. Palmer. Let me be very clear about this. After just one visit, my concerns were non-existent. I remember leaving Dr. Palmer's office the first time with my youngest child. I was in shock at how caring and professional she was. I guess some people are averse to change. Frankly, at times, I am as well. However, this is one of the times, where I am thrilled that my daughter had Dr. Palmer as her Orthodontist. I know there are a few popular Ortho's in Boca, that many of the kids see. I've seen the results. I have not seen finer work than what Dr. Palmer has done. Period! The extra 15 minute drive from Boca is SO worth it! If your child, is at the point of needing braces, you'd be remiss in not paying a visit to Dr. Palmer before choosing an Ortho for your child. Today was my final day in his office after completing my 2 year Invisalign plan and I am thrilled with my beautiful smile and the overall experience I've had there. I'll start off by saying this is not the first orthodontic experience I've had. After going through the entire Invisalign process with another orthodontist in my teenage years and consulting many others in an attempt to rectify the less than satisfactory results I'd received, I must say that Dr. Hier's expertise, staff and caring are beyond comparison. - His prices are fair: For the service, attention, facilities and results, I am quite content with what I paid for my orthodontic treatment. - Technologically advanced: If safety and comfort are considerations, as they were for me, it's very settling to know that Dr. Hier's practice utilizes advanced low radiation X-rays as well as state-of-the-art digital scanning (no more molds!!!!) - The little things matter: It's not just that he has a beatiful office, and genuine staff, but if you've ever been in there, you might notice how incredibly organized they are, how smoothly everything is run and how every member of the staff is on the same page regarding what's going on with each and every patient, there is never any confusion or miscommunication. The office is a well oiled machine. - Family feel: My brother was treated by Dr. Hier 3 years before me (with beautiful results as well) and Dr. Hier still thinks to inquire about him at each of my appointments and somehow manages to keep up with all the details of our lives in and out of The Chair. - Going above and beyond: That's just Dr. Hier's way. He once spent a considerable amount of time personally going back and forth over the phone with my general dentist to make sure that the plan for my fillings would properly coordinate with my Invisalign treatment plan. Dr Hier provided my family with the utmost compassion and quality care. Both children have perfect smiles because of his knowledge skills and expertise. Because Dr Hier employ a two phase approach my children weren't stuck with braces for extended periods of time. And after the first phase their smiles were already 90% improved! Dr. Hier is very knowledgeable and attentive. We usually see him in the Jupiter office that he shares with Dr. Jason Wanuck (our son's pediatric dentist). It is very convenient that they share an office and can easily consult with each other. We have found Dr. Hier and his staff to be professional and accommodating. I can't say that his services have been "cheap" but my impression is that his fee schedule is in line with other orthodontists of his caliber. His assistant Anita is amazing! read more
