Upon a referral from Seda Dental, I had a consultation with Dr. Bruce Schulman, DDS to diagnose whether I needed a root canal. This office scheduled an appointment with me for the very next day.; she was able to fit me in knowing it probably would not take that long to figure out if I had an issue. I came on time and the doctor reviewed a new scan they just took with a very sophisticated X-ray machine. The doctor reviewed, asked me some history and tapped away until he decided that my tooth was in good shape other than the fact that I had some bone loss and the root was very much alive. It was protocol that I consult with him since there was a shadow on my original X-ray from Seda Dental. This office was beautiful and immaculate with up/to-date equipment. If I needed a root canal, I would definitely come back. read more

I have extreme dental anxiety. I recently moved to the area and was referred to Dr Schulman for a root canal. I was terrified to use a dentist I didn't know. From the moment I entered the office I was put at ease. The ladies at the front desk were kind and reassuring. The dental assistant professional and gentle. I was put at ease with Dr Schulman's gentle and reassuring manner. He explained everything, answered all my questions. I wound up having a root canal. The office called me many times to make sure I was okay, to recommend pain relief strategies, and continued to check up on me until the pain was resolved. I'm going for a consultation on another tooth, this time with much less anxiety. I trust Dr Schulman, love the entire staff and highly recommend him, even to those who are afraid of the dentist. read more

What an amazing doctor. Just like so many others have stated about their experience with Dr. Bruce Shulman, I love this dentist who specializes as a Endodontist. I've been to others for consultations wanting to see if I could find a Dentist closer to where I live, but unfortunately, there just isn't anyone quite like Dr Schulman...so I drive to him. His office staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. His office is clean. He himself is kind and takes his time to listen to you and explain about what the particulars are about your specific situation. He is not trying to push any treatments. Just today I had my second root canal performed by Dr. Schulman and the root canal itself was a piece of cake, when the anesthesia wore off now that's another story - there's pain medication for that though! I always feel at ease when Dr Schulman is by my side treating my dental needs. Thank God for Dr Schulman! :) read more

I've had lots of experience with endodontists and was disappointed in my treatment at this office. They would not make an immediate appointment, which was the first indication of a negative attitude. Ask anyone (or any dentist!) about the unending and intolerable pain when you need a root canal procedure. Waiting for a future appointment is cruel. The office itself is gloomy and so was the dentist. No 'hello', no small talk, no pleasant greeting. He did his examination with not much discussion and told me to make an appointment for the procedure! What thoughtlessness. I consulted another recommended dentist, had the root canal immediately and was relatively pain free that night.....as it should be. Find someone qualified and compassionate. read more

I have had some bad experiences before when having work done on my teeth. This whole office was amazing! I had a root canal done today. They called me a week ahead letting me know what I would owe at the visit. When I arrived I was very nervous due to past experiences and this being my first root canal. Everyone was amazing! They kept Asking me through out the procedure if I was ok and to ensure I didn't need more anesthetic. The Dr told me exactly what he was going to do before he did it. Everyone was amazing! Dr Schulman and his staff were wonderful. The practice is professional and clean. I hope I will never need their services, but ever I do; I will go back knowing they did right by me. I was told by the first dentist that I needed a cleaning, a root canal and crown on a tooth that was not bothering me but is mostly silver from fillings. He wanted to do the work but he was a general dentist and I've had two bad experiences with roots cracking so I prefer an endodontist. Since the tooth wasn't bothering me and the cleanliness of the office was questionable; I went somewhere else for the cleaning. The 2nd general dentist also said I needed a root canal and crown, but fortunately for me he didn't do root canals and refered me to an endodontist for a free consult. That endodontist does not honor my insurance so I chose not to schedule the consult. I selected Dr Schulman from the insurance website's list of providers and went there instead. What a pleasant surprise to hear that I don't need a root canal. True the other endodontist offered a free consultation, but he may have given me an unnesesary root canal. Dr Schulman conducted a thorough evaluation and explained to me how he came to his conclusion. I could not thank him and his assistant Veronica enough. P.S. I'd also like to commend Diane who when I called to set my appointment had the foresight to advise me what medications not to take prior to the appointment. read more

Going to the dentist is awful. And I really had no clue what to expect from an endodontist but it didn't seem like it was going to be anything fun. The front office staff were friendly and helpful and the entire office was very clean. I needed a root canal and was absolutely petrified. Dr. Schulman made me feel a little better about the situation and explained to me what the procedure entails. All In all I had a very pleasant experience, outside the obvious. I was having very severe pain . My dentist referred me to Dr. D Schulman. Unfortunately I didn't get past the receptionist. I asked to get in as soon as possible and she told me it didn't matter because it was just a consultation and they couldn't see me for a few weeks. She then hung up on me. My wife recommended Dr Schulman to me after he completed a Root Canal on her last year. I am petrified of a dental cleaning let alone a root so when told I needed one by my dentist I was not happy. After many days of apprehension I had my root completed yesterday. This man and his staff were amazing. He talked me through the whole process and i have to say that I would be happy to do it again! I visit Florida several times a year. During one of my visits, I needed an endodontist. If you are like me, two questions coming to mind when visiting any kind of dental practice. Is it a clean environment? Is the dentist a professional and honest practitioner? Thankfully, Dr. Bruce Schulman earns a thumbs up on both points. He cares. He is always honest and will never do unnecessary work. The office is wonderful and clean. Although Dr. Schulman is a great dentist, his front desk staff misled me into believing that they accepted my husbands insurance. We were told that due to the insurance company being a slow payer we would have to pay up front and be reimbursed by insurance. Only after having our claim denied by insurance did the office tell us that they didn't accept our HMO plan, after I clearly told them what plan we had and gave them the insurance card. I recently visited Dr. Schulman after being in such intense pain and needing to see an endodontist. They called me first thing monday morning after an excruciatingly painful weekend. I was able to get an early appointment. I did wait for a while, but when I found out the reason I was completely forgiving of it. The previous patient came in late and Dr. Schulman is the type of doctor that doesn't turn people away. I didn't mind waiting. When I went in the assistant/nurse was the most compassionate, patient, caring person! She took her time was completely understanding of my pain and did a wonderful job taking care of me. I couldn't leave the office without thanking her with a big hug. When I met Dr. Schulman I found him to be extremely thorough, honest, straight to the point, caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable! I had x-rays that didn't show the problem, so he gave me a CT Scan done right in his office. The mystery problem was solved giving me a diagnosis of a nasty infection spreading to all of my sinuses. He gave me my options and gave his unbiased opinion. He was not pushy in any way shape or form as to what I should do. He sat there at eye level with me and was extremely patient in answering all of my questions! It is apparent he knows his specialty and is great at it! Unfortunately, I have decided to have the infected tooth pulled so he will not be doing my procedure, but if I ever need anything done in the future I am not hesitating going to see Dr. Schulman!
