Wow! Reading the reviews that scored this establishment so low, I was shocked. Complaints were…read moremostly about the price and food quality that I did not experience in my one visit. There is a lot to say. Please read on. I'm writing this to offset the complaints in the other reviews. I'm going to start off with the food, which my family and I found to be EXCELLENT. Granted, I had selections different than those who dissed this place. I brought home macron, fruit gels and Napoleons. My wife is an excellent home baker who provides baked goods to great reviews when she brings her wares to community events. Her take on the macron were that they were excellent as they are a very sensitive product to make. As for me, I have only had a few from other places of comparable reputation and I found these to be equal to those. Slightly larger than a gaming die, the fruit gels were great. One of my adult sons loves Turkish Delights and the other loves high quality fruit slice gels. While these were in between both of them, the fruit taste coated the mouth wonderfully. Napoleons are hard to find due to their complexity. The one I had ranked as high as the few enjoyments of my past. One review explained how they did not like the eclairs. Well, that is fine, but I have never seen such a variety nor attention to detail in the presentation. I can understand the comment about the counter person who was confused about how to charge. The young lady I met seemed a bit green behind the ears. Food is placed in the display case wonderfully and the place is well lit. Ambiance was that of a nice pastry shop. At the start of this dissertation, I told you to read on so it is why here I tell you about finding this place and their neighbor competition. When I checked out, the person behind the counter said they do not get a lot of business because their sign is so small. Never mind that - find them! Another French pastry shop is less than 100 yards across the parking lot. The other way my ultimate destination, but I accidentally pulled up in front of the subject of this review. They offer different products and depending on my home menu selections, I will visit both. You should, too.

So yummy with excellent service. Always enjoy visiting this fantastic dessert place.read more

We try macarons everywhere we travel because they've become one of those little traditions my…read moredaughter and I share together. They're one of our favorite treats, so whenever we visit somewhere new, finding a macaron spot is always high on our list. Out of all the places we've tried, this one truly stood out to us in such a special way. From the very first visit, everything felt warm and welcoming. The woman helping us was incredibly kind, informative, and genuinely passionate about what she was serving. She took the time to explain flavors, answer questions, and make us feel comfortable rather than rushed. What made the experience even more memorable was that she actually remembered us every time we came back, which added such a personal touch that you just don't find often anymore. My daughter loved this place so much that she asked to come back every single night during our trip, and honestly, I completely understood why. We originally stopped in simply wanting to try something new before heading back to our hotel, but it quickly became one of the highlights of our evenings. The atmosphere, the kindness, and of course the delicious macarons made it feel like more than just grabbing dessert. Sometimes the places that leave the biggest impression aren't the ones you plan your whole trip around, but the ones that make you feel welcomed and create memories you'll talk about long after you leave. This was absolutely one of those places for us, and it's somewhere we'll genuinely look forward to visiting again in the future.

The Hot Chocolatier is AMAZING! I'm from the area, and I just never have been able to get to it…read morebefore closing time. Well, I got to go today. I got the S'mores Hot Chocolate. My husband got the Lavender White Chocolate. Both were PHENOMENAL!!! The BEST hot chocolate I've ever had! Even better than my ex-MIL's!!! So freaking GOOD!! The barista who helped us was so kind and so helpful. We would have never tried anything lavender. The place had a really cool vibe. Get yourself to the Hot Chocolatier, PRONTO!!!

I'll start by saying I ordered the white hot chocolate and squirrel cheesecake to go because we…read morewere wandering around town sightseeing. Staff was friendly. There were a lot of options as far as flavors, sizes, toppings, etc. I stuck with a 12 oz white hot chocolate with whipped cream. Now the white hot chocolate was fantastic. It was real white chocolate and it was a nice bit of sweetness. But the cheesecake was unfortunately disappointing. I don't know if it was over baked or over beaten or what but it had a rubbery jello like texture that's not appealing in the mouth when expecting something different. I could only have two bites before giving up on the $9 slice. I'm torn on this review. And this is because I was so excited and hopeful to try the cute hot chocolate place with desserts that I wanted to love it. But was so disappointed with my dessert. The hot chocolate was fantastic and that being their key thing is what I would try again. But I'd probably never reorder a baked dessert from them as they are not necessarily cheap and I wouldn't want to be disappointed when there are other treat options around the area. The space itself is mountainy fun candy cottage vibe. Serves the purpose of having somewhere to enjoy the treats you've ordered inside.
