Might as well just do walk ins at that point. And that's fine, everyone runs behind (an apology would have been nice rather than thanking me for my patience!). But the main reason I'm writing a negative review is after finally getting seated, I find the chair and counter station is full of hair and dirty from the previous client. The stylist isn't prepared and disappeared again to grab the steam machine! So not only did they rob me of my time but after patiently waiting, they robbed my experience. I didn't feel comfortable and lost trust in the cleanliness of the entire place because what else is rushed at this point! Absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful to other people time.

I passed it twice the first time I went here unfortunately because it surprised me coming down the road and then I picked the wrong driveway to turn into. Oops! Parking lot needs some work here though, so don't go speeding through the parking lot because there's some big holes. Inside, this place reminds me of mechanic garage. There's diamond steel everywhere! When I checked in, I knew I was going to have a good experience. I put my name in, chose the haircut experience I wanted (which included a hot towel and neck shave). When I got called to sit down and get my haircut, walking through the hair cutting area was pretty cool. Like I said, there was a lot of diamond steel in the building. One thing in particular that I thought was cool was their station that had their scissors, clippers, and other items. The items were stored in a workbench/tool cart. It seemed like there were air tubes hanging from the ceiling too that replaced hair dryers. I didn't see any of them in use but they were hanging from the ceiling in most seats. All in all, it was a great overall experience and I got a good quality haircut with some great conversation. It felt like they actually cared about my haircut because I wasn't in and out in less than 10 minutes.

However, the primary reason my experience is always excellent at Union is Tee -- he consistently provides an awesome haircut, great conversation, and makes the process seamless. I've been getting my hair cut by Tee for about 5 years now, and I can confidently say that I'll always trust Tee to give me an excellent cut. I've since moved further away, and my drive to the shop is an hour, but it's worth it to know I'm always going to get the same consistent experience, professionalism, and be able to catch up with Tee. After all this time, Tee knows my preferred style without asking any questions, and also knows how to adapt to however my hair decides to behave on the day of (even when I end up missing a couple weeks and going longer between cuts.
