It has been a while since I originally got pierced here, and I have had so many issues. 3/5 of the piercings I got here ended up having issues that did not fully show up until later, after I had already decided not to come again because of one particularly bad experience. My helix was pierced with a butterfly back that was the wrong gauge. Because of this, it A) would not even start to heal until changing it, and B) has been very hard to find the right jewelry for since what was used isn't the right gauge for a cartilage piercing. Again, this was an issue I wasn't initially aware of. A while later I got my daith done, which was alright, but pierced with a curved barbell which I have since learned is not correct. I got my conch pierced, which was when I KNEW it was very wrong. The man who did it used a curved barbell. I ended up having to go to icon to get the jewelry changed. HIGHLY recommend them as they are very kind and professional. They told me that they had many previous issues with people getting piercings from absolute ink fixed. The people at absolute ink (specifically the men) are incredibly uncomfortable to be around too. Lilly was very nice, but that is not worth terribly pierced ears.

Shes incredibly kind, patient and transparent about every step of the process. She helped me navigate technical/body mechanical limitations of my vision without belittling me and was still able to ultimately deliver all the things I wanted and more. She takes design feed back to heart and makes the experience of designing your tattoo a collaborative experience. We made additions to my arm all the way up to the last session almost a year after we started, as I was better able to understand the space we had to work with and use it. Its been around 2 years since we finished my arm and I still have people that will not just compliment the work, but actively turn back around and near chase me to ask for a better look.
