If you love hot dogs this place is for you. Quality hot dogs and buns. Great funnel cakes and lemonades as well!

Foot long corn dog and disco fries.

One of my favorite joints on the Wildwoods boardwalk. You can get hot dogs from quite a few boardwalk establishments so you're probably wondering, what makes these so special? For one, most of their hotdogs are foot longs. They have many toppings and sauces that can go on their hotdogs. I've tried a lot of their menu and I don't really have a favorite dish. But I don't think you can really go wrong. One standout is their foot long corn dogs. You'd be very hard pressed to find a foot long corn dog anywhere else. This is literally the only place I know of where you can get one. They also serve some other deep fried dishes like fries, oreoes, and funnel cake. I recommend the Disco Fries which are french fries topped with cheese and gravy. Probably the closest we'll get to poutine here, but it's so delicious. FYI, even the small buckets of fries are kind of large, so I would recommend sharing with somebody. One criticism of the place though. I wish they would open their indoor dining area again! I've skipped this place a few times because there was nowhere to sit and enjoy the food. There are two tables outside and some benches on the boardwalk, but undependable to sit in either. It's not in the restaurant's control but I also get harassed by quite a lot of seagulls when I'm eating on those outdoor tables. I don't know why the dining area was closed but I wish they would open it back up so I can enjoy their foot long dogs in an air conditioned area that's free of birds and intense sun. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. The food is delicious and the portions are huge.

Good spot to grab a quick, & cheap bite on the boardwalk. They even have a clean bathroom & seating area. I was disappointed that they've significantly reduced the options & the toppings of dogs from previous years. They also fried Oreos, cookie dough, & candy which was good. The fries were mediocre, as was the hot dog + bun itself though.

Chill cheese weiner

I did what I was supposed to do here - I grabbed a weiner. My wife also grabbed a weiner. Both foot longs, not even sure if they offer smaller, but I'm sure they shouldn't. Wife found the chill cheese weiner a bit on the salty side. But my weiner with kraut, pickles, and spicy mayo was outrageously good. Perfect balance for a weiner imo, didn't lean too far left or right. Best weiner on the boardwalk and reasonably priced at $6.

This is one of our favorite places on the Wildwood Boardwalk. Besides, the great "wiener" themed shirts which I was told make more money than the food, they also have fantastic fresh cut fries and foot long hot dogs, both loaded with toppings. At our first visit of the season the staff informed us that the owner/manager Franco, will not be running the restaurant this summer and unfortunately, we can tell the difference as the quality went from from 5 to 4 stars. The fries were over salted and the toppings were not perfectly layered. However, make no mistake, this place is still awesome and a must stop at if you happen to be spending some time in the Wildwoods. Note that it's owned by the nearby Doo Wop Diner which is also a great stop for a quality meal and fun experience.

Really enjoyed our foot long dogs. Took a decent amount of time, but I'd rather my food be fresh than have been sitting around cold and then reheated. My dad is a hotdog aficionado and gave it a 9/10.

I absolutely love this place. I've been going here for years. Best cheese fries on the boardwalk. Better than Curleys.

This place is a serious WIN!! Think about everything you ever dreamed of in a veggie hot dog come to life! While I don't eat traditional hot dogs the vegetarian hot dog tasted so much like a regular hot dog I had to ask 3x if it was vegetarian! They deep fry that veggie dog and include two of them so there is no room for healthy choices. This is my new spot. Best hotdog ever !!! Oh and the bread DELICIOUS!!

After eating at sitdown restaurants the past two days was looking gorgeous something good to eat on the boardwalk that was a bit different than chicken fingers and fries. Found Grab a weiner on Yelp and thought to give it a try. Fyi. There is no indoor seating as they closed off probably to Covid. But there are some general tables outside if you're lucky to snag them. They had a very extensive list of gourmet hot dogs to choose from. The fries are amazing especially the curly fries on a stick. Would definitely try it out again!

If you could give 5 stars for wiener puns, Grab a Wiener would be the foot-long winner. I loved the variety of hot dog options available. It was a risky move wearing a brand new white tank top and eating a messy hot dog, but crisis averted. I went with the Shark Bite- a food long dog, cheddar sauce, jalapenos and spicy salsa. So the hot dog was literally what made the snack. The toppings were just okay; not too spicy and the sauce tasted like whiz. The frank was the most perfect a wiener could be. It wasn't crowded and it took a little time to get my dog; it seemed like it was cooked with TLC. The price was right for a foot-longer and was a great lunch/snack to hold me over until dinner.

Just the concept of grab a wiener was too good not to stop by- every hot dog is about a foot long. You can get different kinds of toppings on the hot dog (and there's a pretty extensive selection) and they offer plenty of choices for French fries as well. Cheese fries, bacon cheese fries, and many more. We got "poutine fries" along with a hot dog with relish and nacho cheese. They have a few booths and seats inside the restaurant, however the spot that we were sitting at was right below the air conditioner, where I was being hit by water drops falling from the AC for my entire meal. Our food took a while to come out, and I watched many people who came in after me get their food first. I also at one point watched one of the employees who was making the food behave pretty rudely to one of the younger kids working the register and getting ice from the back, in front of all of the customers. The food was alright. The hot dog was pretty good, and I was impressed with the choices. The fries were a bit soggy, but overall tasted okay.

This place has gone downhill. New ownership and it's awful. They don't even offer veggie dogs anymore.

I tried the "Forget About It" dog (fun combo of cheese, chili, and bacon), plain fries, and the "Salty Balls" (buttery potatoes). Honestly, the food was just okay, but the menu is huge, and I'm hoping to try the mac salad next time. For a family-owned spot, I didn't feel that warm, welcoming vibe, and after reading the owner's responses to reviews, I wasn't thrilled. Hopefully that changes--Yelp is about sharing honest experiences. Overall, it was an okay visit. I'd give it another shot, especially to try more of the menu and the fun dog bowl presentation in person.

My personal favorites are the beachcomber hotdog, the 5-0 fries with their special sauce (chefs kiss) and the salty balls (these potatoes literally melt in your mouth and the melted butter with it is 10/10), and my absolute favorite is Liz's macaroni salad. Make sure you get a large container of that so you can take some home with you (yes, it really is THAT good). This place has been featured on the Food Network, on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives (how awesome is that?!). This place is even Bruce approved, they're kind enough to bring out his own dog bowl with water as well as his own hotdog so he doesn't feel left out lol. All the food is served in plastic dog bowls to really set the scene. I can't brag about this place enough as it is one of my top five favorite places to eat at. Maui, Liz & and family, thank you for all you do and your hard work that doesn't go unnoticed! The food is always delicious and we can't wait to come back for more. If you haven't tried Maui's doghouse yet, add it to the itinerary for your next beach adventure in North Wildwood!

The food was great and didn't have any problems. I'd order our dishes again if we return one day (cove smash burger and half BBQ smoked chicken both with French fries) but the only thing I didn't like was how empty the place was (only me and two other tables, a couple and then a party of 6) and the service was SLOW.
