This VCT floor, in a maintenance office, was faded, stained and looked beat up and worn. I contacted Sam, the owner of Rhone Floor Maintenance, for stripping and waxing services on this floor. I was very pleased with previous work that Rhone had done on other floors in the Building. Sam was very patient and knowledgeable in explaining the process, of what needed to be done to revive this floor. He stripped, scrubbed and applied multiply layers of wax on this floor making it look almost new. The best part about Rhone's work was his attention to detail. Sam was very meticulous, thoroughly cleaning all corners, wiping off the cove base and covering all to make sure there was no wax splashing on edge strips, cove base and built-in furniture. Sam Rhone Flooring did a great job for a great price!!! I will definitely call him back for future work or refer him to anyone needing floor work done. The entire process went smoothly from the presale review of options, pricing options, and know how of the staff. Installation was completed within one week for a job that was more complicated than anticipated. Pricing was transparent and everything handled professionally. Financing was a great option. They also arranged for painting and it was done beautifully and super quick! We compared several local options and some national names and ultimately molyneaux struck the right balance of large enough but local enough for us. We will go back for future work if needed.

I wasn't sure how the rebuild should be done, but I had a few ideas. Jason was an excellent sounding board. I laid out my top priorities and how I thought they could be handled. He was easy to collaborate with, and whenever we hit practical limits to my vision, he was honest, clear, and quick to propose workable alternatives. His team showed up when they said they would and cleaned up every day, which made a big difference while living in the house during the job. They were also accommodating and able to work around four other projects I was managing in the house at the same time. Instead, they barely finished our second floor and had none of our first floor done when we returned. On top of that, it took them an additional three days to finish the job. The final job included uneven floors, floors that creaked, and floors that were not evenly distributed. They clearly were in a hurry, with quality being a minor concern. They offered us $500 credit for a future job but their pricing for said future job was so outrageous it seemed a joke. Instead we went another direction. We used Empire for our addition 6 months later, and the quality difference is noticeable. The Empire floors are solid, even, and stable. The Molyneaux floors are uneven, inconsistently placed, and lacking quality for the price charged. Overall very disappointing.
