Read my review and understand why this is the only car shop you should go to for your convertible…read moreneeds. It's run by a father and son who are truly passionate about what they do, and it really shows in their work and their integrity. I came in fully prepared to replace my entire top after being told that it would cost me about $3,200 for the part and another $1,500 for labor -- nearly $4,700 total. I was already bracing myself to spend it, even though I'm going through a financially tight period. Instead, after working late into the night together, this amazing duo discovered that the issue wasn't the whole top at all -- it was just the motor. They replaced it, charged me only $500 for the part and $750 for labor, and saved me thousands of dollars. I was testing it driving around the whole weekend, the top works like new. They could have easily gone along with what I expected to pay, but they chose honesty over profit. That kind of integrity is so rare, and it meant the world to me. Their dedication, skill, and honesty truly set them apart. If you need convertible top work done, this is THE place to go. Trustworthy, talented, and genuinely good people.

It's summer in South Florida, so I needed to get my car windows tinted. I reached out to a friend…read morefor a recommendation and I was told this place did good work. I called to get more information about the options and prices. I spoke to Jimmy and from what I understand, he is the owner. He explained the different options and price points. I agreed to come in Monday morning. Upon arriving to the shop I met with a young man at the desk. I explained that I spoke to Jimmy a few days before and came in to get my car windows tinted. The young man quoted me with different prices than was already given. For example with Jimmy the starting rate was $190, with this young man the starting rate was $240 an almost 30% mark up. I do not like dishonesty and I definitely don't respect any business taking advantage of people. I explained to the young man that I was quoted a different price and if he did not plan on honoring it then I needed to speak to the owner. Three calls were made to the owner and there was no answer. At this point I was ready to walk. The young man had an about face and stated he would complete the job at the price the owner quoted me at. I found this very disingenuous. I must admit he did a good job despite the initial attempting to haggle me in the beginning. When I checked in there was a $30 off Yelp discount but he reported he has never seen it before and could not process it. I wish more business respected 'word of mouth' referrals as it's the best way to get people in your door. A word of advice being honest and consistent is always the best business practice. I will be hesitant to refer here.

My pipes are already mandrel bent ( perks of this being my own brand goofy.) and I have the pie cuts and all the v band clamps and flex pipe, all it needs is to be fabricated and exhaust hangers welded to it, yea I wouldn't recommend them to even do a muffler delete on a 98 Camry... Yeah, typical car guy thing but you know if you have a car with a HEMI V8, man you just can't knock the beautiful sound of that V8 growl. Not being an exhaust expert myself, I spoke to William at 954 Mufflers on what my options were and he provided me with a few options at various price points. Seeing as I wanted the exhaust tone to be a little more aggressive but not be annoying on long trips, we opted to swap out my factory mufflers for a couple of Magnaflow stainless steel mufflers; also, swapped out my OEM chrome exhaust tips for a pair of gloss black exhaust tips. Total cost out the door was $975 parts and labor, which from my perspective was a great deal. These guys and gals at 954 Mufflers are not messing around. They know their business and it shows. While I was there I was seeing them get cars done efficiently and professionally. It was basically a master class in how an exhaust shop should run and it was great to watch people work that know what they are doing. No rushing, just making sure that it all gets done to the best of their ability. Their excellent customer service starts over the phone when you call them all the way through getting the work done. All the staff that works at this shop is on point and knows what they are doing. Whether you need work done on a Mercedes GT63 or a Chrysler 300 and everything in between, these guys have got you covered. So you are probably wondering, Nelson so how does your exhaust sound man? Great question, simply amazing! Exactly what I wanted. Williams recommendation was spot on! Quick tip.... Make sure that if you are getting some work done that you take whatever parts you want to keep with you immediately or at least let them know you will pick it up so they can store it in the back for you. If not, well the parts will be picked up by metal scrappers and they will be gone, so let them know either way. So long story short, this business definitely knows what they are doing. If you are looking to get some professional exhaust work done on your vehicle I am sure that they will do a great job. They can handle everything between a simple muffler swap to setting you up with a complete custom exhaust setup on a professional build. Hope this helps and have a great day!
