Before starting, he suggested a beautiful material rather than defaulting to a drab cinder block. Due to the difficulty and risk involved for excavation, it was hard to find a contractor to take on the job but from my initial consult with Victor, him and his team noted their experience with these scenarios and he was confident they can do it in less than a day. On excavation day they brought the necessary equipment and tools and were very cautious about the gas pipe. They ended up finishing the job in less than a half day! To follow up, we realized we needed more excavation at the apron of the driveway and Victor again came to the rescue and excavated that for us a week later. I sincerely appreciate the time efficiency and skill that Victor and his team have in getting our excavation needs completed. I highly recommend Victor and his team and will always reach out to him first when we need more excavation for future projects. Thanks Victor!

It ended up being a decent size job, with a fair amount of digging for the drains and demo of the old stairs, took a couple weeks to complete the job. Nate was a pleasure to work with, responsive, had great ideas about how to tackle the job, and his pricing was totally fair. Most importantly, as you can see from the pictures, they did excellent work. Finally, they stood behind their work, a few cracks showed up maybe 6 months after the job (100% not their fault, we deal with a driveway that shifts a ton from the weight of a steep slope we are on) and they repaired the cracks no questions asked and free of charge. I know he does jobs much larger than this but he never made our job feel insignificant or unimportant, and followed through like a true pro. I'd use him or recommend him again, no question.

We could not be happier with the results. Alonso, the owner, was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He took our general ideas and turned them into a cohesive, functional outdoor design that beautifully complements our property while staying within our budget. The scope of the project included building a 14' x 17' patio area with a gazebo, installing a pressure-treated wood retaining wall, constructing a patio bench seat, landscaping our hillside, and building steps to provide safe access up our steep hill. The craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the project were outstanding. Alonso and his team were consistently prompt and professional. Whenever unexpected issues arose, Alonso was transparent and communicated clearly about the situation, available options, and any associated costs. We greatly appreciated his honesty and commitment to delivering the highest quality work. My wife and I are thrilled with our new outdoor living space and look forward to enjoying it for years to come. Our only regret is that we didn't undertake this project 20 years ago when we first moved into our home. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with Alonso and the entire Golden Hills Landscaping team and would highly recommend them to anyone considering an outdoor improvement project.
