Realizing it was the middle of summer/ the cooling season, and, it had been a large storm the night before covering the entire York County area, I assumed it might be a day or more before there would be an available appt. The technician was on time, great personality, professional and cleaned up after the job. Each routine maintenance service call prevented a bigger problem from developing. I am grateful that they are so skilled at repair and maintenance . I have grown to trust their expertise. I have great confidence in their work and in the company in general. So recently I had a really bad blocked drain in the kitchen. I did what I could to unclog it but I was unsuccessful. I realized that Chris Mechanical also has plumbing services available. I called on a Sunday and the plumber was able to fit me into the schedule a day later. Since it was just the kitchen and not the entire plumbing line it was ok to wait. If you need emergency services the plumber would probably be able to get there ASAP. I explained I had to go replace the faucet myself and that yes the valve would leak if not positioned correctly but that was NOT our issue when hiring them. She graciously discounted .5 hour of work and then stated "can you do me a favor... never call us again since you know how to fix everything" ... you can imagine my colorful ending before disconnecting... Per other reviews... this is something they are known for and good at... ripping people off, replacing things that don't solve the problems and jacking the price up on the client. Maybe if they focused on being a decent customer service and skilled worker they would keep clients. They quoted replacing the furnace with oil, replacing with gas, and replacing the both the furnace and electric hot water heater with a gas unit. Their pricing was better than the competition, plus offered more options. We chose to replace the furnace and hot water with gas. Bottom line, they did what they said they would do, they were respectful, and John was very responsive. I would trust these guys to do work for me again, and recommend them highly.

He took the time to map out exactly where our buried sewer lines were located and used his camera to get a thorough understanding of the problem. (By way of comparison, we had another estimate that just stated how much it would cost for each five feet of work, with no deep inspection.) CJ's estimate was very detailed and seemed to cover every issue that we would encounter. The overall estimate price was on the lower side of the four estimates we received. Once this house sells, we will definitely recommend that the sewer work be done by A1!

My mother's home is old and I knew there was at least one burst sewage pipe that I already have pictures of I asked that the technician do a thorough search under the crawl space because I was certain that it was likely the entire plumbing system would need to be replaced considering how old the home was. That was not done the man barely went 5 ft into the crawl space and repaired a coupling I was charged $480. He did not crawl the entire space because there were three different burst sewage pipes. He assured me that that coupling was the only issue I had crew come out and repair insulation underneath the home and they found a massive area where there was still covered in sewage and broken pipes. I called back and said that the previous technician did not crawl underneath the space like I asked and that I needed another technician to come out to give me an estimate all they were willing to do was wave the $89 dispatch fee they sent a second technician out first he went to the wrong house he crawled under my neighbor's house I told him that was not my house he goes back crawls underneath my mother's house and finds $10,000 worth of damage and still charges me $113 for him to go crawl under my neighbor's house and under mine. Which should have been done the first time like I asked. I have called back twice and asked for a manager to reach out to me I do not think that it is fair that I've had to pay almost $600 out of pocket for them to do nothing the coupling they replaced is maybe $75 at the most Update: still haven't heard from them don't waste your money on terrible service * 2nd update* it took an entire month for someone to finally reach out to me but the GM did refund the money.
