Deliciousness in a tub!…read more
This family-owned ice cream parlour is a firm favourite amongst the locals on the Island. Made with cows milk, double cream, butter and sugar it might bump me up the list for coronary bypass surgery, but in the meantime I'm going to enjoy the creamy tastiness of this ice cream. There are many flavours available, I went for the mango and raspberry on this occasion. Fruity but maybe slightly artificial tasting.
As well as the standard ice cream they do sundaes, sandwiches, salads and other light lunches, hot and cold drinks and sweets and gifts to take away.
There are a few tables to allow you to eat in, a necessity in November. However, in the summer it's ideally placed on the seafront for you to buy your cone to go take a stroll along the prom, with great views of Peel Castle and the beach.
A great Isle of Man institution, a firm favourite with locals and tourists alike.
