At the outset of planning our wedding, we had a strong vision for the event, but lacked a fundamental understanding of how we'd put it together, the flow throughout the night, and the logistics of the more do-it-yourself venues that we were most interested in. Once we met Heather Levine from Naturally Delicious (ND), and started working with her, it became clear that ND were the perfect partners for our event. Heather had years of experience producing events in our venue and others like it and experience producing a variety of types of events. Heather had on-point suggestions for every detail of our event, whether it be food, run-of-show, liquor, rentals, or anything. About two weeks before the event, we faced an unexpected crisis. We don't know what we would have done without Heather generally, but especially during these two weeks. Our bi-weekly emails with Heather turned into multiple calls and texts a day. Alongside no small amount of coaching (bordering on counseling at times), Heather helped us repeatedly communicate with all of our loved ones about the event, and tirelessly worked across our vendors and venue to make many significant, last minute adjustments. Overall, we couldn't recommend Naturally Delicious and Heather Levine more!

We had a handful of platters of hor d'oeuvres and an open bar with two bartenders as well. I really appreciated the lengths our contact, Melissa, went to to make sure the event was successful. Since we were uncertain about our budget until the very last minute, we had so many changes (adding and subtracting platters, including the open bar, etc.) and requests. Melissa very willingly accommodated and worked with our limited budget to provide the best food and service. We were even making changes until a day before the event! The food was set up and delivered an hour and a half before the start of the event, which was a great relief for the event planners and a burden off our shoulders. The lovely bartenders were experienced and worked quickly, so there was hardly ever a line. Clean up was easy and fast, and Naturally Delicious worked with our space limitations to make the process super seamless. The food itself was all cold since we didn't have access to a kitchen to heat it up, so it wasn't as appetizing as some of our guests had hoped. However, I think this was more a result of my menu selection than anything Naturally Delicious did. The catering was a bit on the pricier side, but it's well worth it for the professionalism. If I'm planning catering for a future event, I will definitely turn to Naturally Delicious again!

Hayley and Brynne threw an amazing event for our pup, with every single detail considered and thoughtfully executed. Our guests, humans and dogs, all had a great time. Hayley and Brynne were incredible to work with and thought through every single detail. When we started getting nervous as the event approached, Hayley took a phone call with me from France (!!!!) to make sure I felt confident and comfortable with our pup's big day. The day of the party was perfect - when we arrived at the venue, Hayley already had things looking incredible with adorable decorations, props - just everything above and beyond what we could've imagined. Brynne also attended the actual party even though we weren't expecting her since she had been on maternity leave. They had fun games planned and ensured all guests had an amazing time. Hayley and Brynne are the real deal!!! We will definitely work with them on future events for our pup. THANK YOU!

(I was concerned how fresh things would look due to the travel) The decorations were beautiful every thing was color coordinated and looked like a store display. She also participated and assisted with the food and being very interactive and helpful with the guest. A great time was had by all. Thank You Puppy Parties NYC for all of your hard work, your willingness to travel out of your normal service area and making my boy's special birthday SPECTACULAR !!!!

We met at Baked Melissa on 42nd street. The guide gave us instructions. I was late so I did not hear the instructions. The goal of the race is to find items on a list (movie poster, triplets, slide, dog with clothes, flag, big clock, guy with mets cap, bus driver), 3 out of 6 pictures (daily news globe, muppets at fab schwartz , apple at hudson river park etc) and a find of (12 different flowers or 6 different vendors that sell meet). In addition, for extra point, you had to check in with the guide at times square and if you choose to perform a specific task. The event was tiring. We had to run towards the end of the race to get everything. My team won of course. However, given that we paid $35 for the race. I expected more like water to be provided, nutrional snacks a the end of the race, some sort of metrocard for public transportation and better prize (i got a plastic medal and t-shirt).

All in all a fun day, took us all over the city to places we'd never been. Also exposed me to the bus system which I've rarely taken.. pretty reliable & runs regularly (should I be yelping the metro system..?). Pretty well organized. We got plenty of e-mails beforehand letting us know how we should prepare (though they were a little ambiguous on the metro day pass- were they providing it or did we have to buy it? Good thing we bought ours just in case). On they day of they ran pretty smoothly, although registration was a bit of a bottleneck with one person doing each task (sign in, name tags, handing out paperwork). There were lots of staff though and they were all really friendly and seemed to really enjoy running the event, which made us enjoy it more. At then end they came around and scored our pictures by going through them with us (liked that - so we could make sure we got credit for all the items we found), and had us load our pictures on a computer being projected so we saw a slideshow with everyone's photos as they were scoring. Funny to see how creative some people were. Would've been nice to have a little bit of food at the start or at the end - annoying that we were basically expected to stick around and order Dave & Busters food since that was the start/end location. It's ok, we just ordered a small appetizer (as we were STARVING) and went off to a restaurant actually worth our time for dinner.

From the very first moment we toured the space in spring 2024, we knew it was the one. The venue is stunning -- modern yet warm, with gorgeous architectural details and an effortlessly chic vibe that feels both elevated and welcoming. Deity is truly a dream for couples planning a wedding in NYC. They host weddings from 50 to 150 guests, and we chose their 50-person micro wedding package. Their pricing is transparent and incredibly reasonable for NYC -- packages range from $12K-$18K, and we added their breathtaking bridal suite for an additional $3,000, which was worth every penny. The suite is spectacular: two bathrooms, a shower, a full kitchen, a balcony, incredible photography space, a huge sleigh bed, a stunning tub, luxe velvet and leather furniture, exposed brick, and access to a rooftop with a hot tub and cold plunge. It made our wedding morning feel like a luxury retreat and gave us the most beautiful getting-ready photos. What really sets Deity apart is that they are fully all-inclusive and tip-free, which made planning so much less stressful. They handled coat check, bartenders, staffing, a day-of coordinator, DJ/MC, room transitions between floors, passed appetizers, a excellent, generous family style seated dinner, and a full bar with fantastic food and drinks. They also offer beautiful decor basics including a gorgeous hexagon arch, candles, mirrors, table numbers, linens, chairs, and all flatware. This allowed us to personalize the day with our own invites, florals, attire, officiant, dessert, and additional vendors without feeling overwhelmed. Our coordinator was absolutely phenomenal -- calm, organized, and truly invested in making our day perfect. The owner, Caio, was lovely, warm, and incredibly professional throughout the entire process. We had several planning meetings, a detailed walk-through, and many email exchanges, and we always felt supported and at ease. We also loved the group tasting experience they offered with other couples getting married that month -- it was such a thoughtful and fun touch. All in, we were able to have our entire wedding in downtown Brooklyn for around $35K -- about $20K to the venue and $15K for extras -- which felt like an incredible value for the level of service, quality, and beauty we received. Location-wise, Deity is unbeatable. Being so close to Barclays Center meant there were at least seven hotels within a seven-minute walk, making it super convenient for our out-of-town guests. The flexibility to bring in our own vendors (outside of food and alcohol) made the entire process smooth, creative, and joyful. Truly, the whole experience was seamless from start to finish. I would choose Deity Events a thousand times over and can only highly recommend for other couples to choose Deity so they can have an equally incredible experience.

I'm always interested in how event spaces put on their show, and as such I was looking forward to checking this place out as well as celebrating my friend's new chapter. Diety doesn't look like much from the outside, especially as it's adjacent to Downtown Brooklyn and nestled in the middle of the block amongst several other businesses, however once you're inside there are a variety of spaces that can fit a variety of event types. The space is broken up into several floors - there are at least three of them with space to host, as well as a private area which looks like space to get ready, and then a rooftop area which (what I was told) has a hot tub. I hung out with the wedding party prior to the ceremony so I was in the upstairs area - it's spacious with a large kitchen, a selfie mirror, as well as a variety of sitting areas to relax and take pictures. The wedding was split among the other floors which had a bar area, dance floor, and space to exchange vows. Each floor provided different services but they were all tied together by a somewhat rustic yet upscale theme. As far as good, we were served strolling apps during the cocktail hour which were all tasty. For dinner we were served American fare family style - hake, short ribs, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. Everything was very good, especially in light of the fact that this was a catering hall/event space. The only drawbacks I could see were that there was no option for parking or valet, so you're on your own in that aspect. Also, I don't think Diety would be for everyone in terms of form or function. Each floor was somewhat small, so if you have a large event it wouldn't work; additionally, because the space is somewhat compartmentalized, we were hopping from floor to floor for each section of the wedding. If there are people with mobility issues this may not be the best place to host your event. Overall, though, I thought Diety put on a great wedding; the aesthetics are lovely (and moldable), the service was great, and the food was tasty. While not for everyone, this is definitely a solid option to host an event in Brooklyn.
