Flower De Monet saved the day!!…read more I had pre ordered flowers from a different flower shop a few days before for my girlfriends birthday. When I arrived this morning it was not at all what I envisioned for my girlfriend and the other flower shop did not follow very specific details. The lily's were yellow and other flowers were orange and it was a nightmare. I called around to have an emergency bouquet put together, and no one had lily's. BY THE GRACE OF GOD, I got ahold of Flowers De Monet and she had the pink lily's I needed. All I said to her was "It's for my girlfriend, she loves pink, I would like it in a vase, and I have no budget." She asked me how soon I needed them and I said as soon as you can. She said "I can have them done in 30 mins." When I arrived she humbly ask "do you like them"? And I couldn't help but relax my whole body in awe at the stunning work she had prepared. I gave her bare minimum details and an unrealistic deadline. She successfully accomplished a breath taking bouquet for 70$ within 30 minutes. This will forever be my go to and my girlfriend was over the moon with the arrangement. Thank you for saving my life! Happy wife, happy life!!

She explained that they did not have the fuschia flowers in stock so she did the best she could. Totally fine. A few days later, my mom texted me a picture of the new arrangement. No charge. Amazing. Such a great value for the quality of the flowers!…read more So, I initially found this florist by searching for a local florist near the delivery location. Great! They were so close by and the $$ characterized that I could afford it. So I called over to see what my options are. We talked a bit about the available flowers and approximate prices. I was even excited to here that it was complimentary delivery if it was in the immediate area. I was having them delivered to South Coast Plaza, which was in a few miles away, and she said that it would have been complimentary delivery. Fast forward, I got there and spoke with a different person, Duncan (I think that's how his name is spelled). We talked a bit about what the occasion was for and figured out which flowers to use. It was a thank you vase bouquet to my seasonal employer because they had offered me a full time position, a month after my assignment ended, out of nowhere! I was very thankful for the offer and as classy as I am, I wanted to make sure that I maintained the relationship. So after making the decision of which flowers, we talked about cost. The flowers in the vase only cost $30 plus tax! What a bargain for the flowers I chose. Then he informed me that they were heavy on deliveries on Saturday, so I said Sunday was OK. Well, he then added a $10 charge for delivery. I decided not to question it because the cost of the flowers was a bargain already. But the fact that the phone call I made earlier said that the delivery would have been complimentary. They are very visible from the street, it's just a small little "shack" in the parking lot. There was plenty of parking when I arrived in the evening, close to closing. Duncan was very welcoming and easy to talk to. He was able to provide recommendations to help me choose the right flowers for the occasion. The only reason why I minused a star was because the confusion for delivery charges.

Today is my son's 100th day and I drove around locally for a bouquet of dried flowers to showcase on the table. Needless to say, this neat little boutique store is located in a very artsy and trendy area in Costa Mesa.. fits right in! The lady running the shop is very friendly and helpful when choosing your flowers. I had several questions and needed to run by some ideas to see which would work best. I will say the flowers are pricey, but nothing unusual of dried flower bouquets. I would say they're in the mid-to-higher range in pricing for dried flowers, but in part due to the nature of the arrangements - I've bought one that was already pre-made, and this is exactly what I needed in a pinch. The bouquet was also arranged very beautifully in a fabric-like cover and wrapped in hemp string. This store sells other random trinkets and things, and dried flowers individually per stem and in sets of the same kind vs pre-made bouquets. Would recommend this store to friends and family. Perfect for special events!
