    Vietnamese Chicken Salad
    Vanessa G.

Vibes: Casual, long picnic tables, bustling Crowd: Pretty busy at lunchtime but moves fast Menu: hamburgers and more- incl. ahi tuna options Value for price: 4/5 (small portions but decent prices) Service: quick Parking: very busy parking (T&C Village by Stanford) Sunday lunch at Gott's was a nice, casual experience. I came with a big group and they were accommodating of grouping our multiple orders. There's a lot of indoor/outdoor seating, water on tap, wine/beer/shakes for drinks. TVs everywhere. I tried the vietnamese chicken salad, which was not the largest portion but the flavors were good. It came with a vinaigrette which was tangy, and paired with lime juice, came out to a very fresh-tasting salad. The chicken was crispy and nicely cooked. I only give four stars because of the portion sizes were a bit small for the price point. Great place to come hang/watch a game with friends.

Came here for my annual Galentine's weekend with my friends and I was craving a burger. I had the GRUYÈRE & CARAMELIZED ONION BURGER with Gruyère cheese, caramelized onions & garlic mayo on a toarted egg bun. It was divine the melting of the cheese with the caramelized onions was mouthwatering, the fries were an additional price and didn't come with the burger. I had to get new fries since mine were cold. They got my order number wrong so I was waiting awhile, till I got up and checked my order. The place was busy for a Saturday. My friend got the Peanut Butter Chocolate Sundae and shared. I'm a peanut butter and chocolate lover and this was soo good.

Love all this space and their giant menus!

This was my first time at this particular Gott's restaurant! I've been to the one up in Napa, as well as another one in Sonoma County and an open mall. I can't remember the exact location. This one is by far as huge as the Sonoma one!! As we arrived and noticed a handful of people sitting outside. My friend and I both thought they were from the restaurant so we tried to go in and order since the doors were open. So our surprise, the lady behind the counter, told us she wasn't open for another five minutes until 11 AM!. As we walked outside, we realized the people that were sick all had cups of coffee! Lol oops!! We waited 10 minutes outside just hanging out and then we ordered our lunch to go. We both wanted to get a Sunday since the advertisement looks so delicious. Plus it's organic ice cream, that means it's healthy! Lol As we order, the lady behind the counter seemed to rather annoyed. We didn't want the Sundays right away. At the same time we got takeout so we weren't going to be eating the food there and we didn't want the suns to melt. She printed out a receipt and told both of us to hold onto the receipt. Otherwise, she was not going to make us the Sunday. We smiled and took the receipt with us as we went to sprinkles to order some cupcakes. Goodness! The lady seemed like she really hated her job and she was not thrilled with the fact that I was overly enthusiastic about this chocolate sundae because the picture looks so delicious! I honestly think I pissed her off at 11 o'clock in the morning! Lol sorry, foodie problems when I get excited about food I guess I'm annoying to employees in regards to my enthusiasm?! Anyways, I was glad once I got my food and everything was set up perfectly and smelled delicious. My aunt and my niece loved the chicken tenders, as well as the impossible nuggets and the french fries as well as the chicken Parmesan sandwich! My aunt really loved the chocolate sundae she had never seen such a beautiful looking Sunday in a long time! She was very thrilled and said it tasted delicious!! We will definitely go back again, but definitely on a different weekend or evening so maybe in the morning shift Ladie will not be there. This also looks like a great place to watch a game since you're right down the street from Stanford university and they had 1 million TVs and a great looking bar! By the way, I'm only giving three stars because of the lady's terrible service. I would've definitely given five stars otherwise but she just made me feel unwelcome. Maybe she needs a hug? Or a raise? I don't know something!

Gott's Roadside is one of those easy to chose restaurants when you have a group of friends that are indecisive. The menu here is vast and have options for everyone including the ones with dietary restrictions. Food ranges from burgers, salads, tacos, chicken tenders, soft serve ice cream and alcoholic beverages. The food isn't terrible but for a burger, fries, drink and tips you're looking around $25 to $30 per person. The prices are a bit high for me for an average cheeseburger that I can get anywhere else. There's no specialty house sauce or grilled onions. My favorite here so far is the chicken tender with the hot honey sauce. They do offer other fusion type burgers like their Kimchi burger for example. That's when you end up paying $20 just for the burger. I wish they incorporated some combo deals instead of charging everything al la carte. The parking here is a disaster especially over the weekends. There's also a lot of traffic going in and out of this center. A lot of that traffic is congested around Gott's because they're closer to the parking lot entrance.

I'm pretty surprised with the three star rating for Gott's roadside. Though I've ordered one item on the menu, I think Gott's has left a pretty good impression on me. I got the cheeseburger with the egg bun. Everything about the burger was pretty good. The vegetables tasted fresh and crisp, and the patty was perfectly cooked. However, the bun was really thick in my opinion. Bummed to say that the photo of the cheeseburger on the online menu/website looks nothing like the cheeseburger I got today. The proportions are pretty off, lol. In the photos, the patty is as big as, if not bigger than the bun. The cheeseburger I got, the bun covered the entire patty. You won't even see the meat unless you bite into it. So, I guess, you can say that the photos deceive. Also, it's understandable that 13 ish dollars is pretty pricey for only a cheeseburger, but the quality of it isn't all that bad. The place is really big with spacious seating, which is great for bigger parties!

Upside: after about a year, this location has their soda fountain working again. Downside: they don't empty trash. Gross.

Gott's Roadside is a Bay Area staple for burgers and sides! I love how spacious this location is with ample indoor and outdoor seating. The employees have been attentive and friendly at every visit. I always stop by for lunch whenever I'm taking family and friends around the area, especially since they're located right across Stanford's campus. This time around, I tried their salad for the first time and loved it! I got their Vietnamese chicken salad and it was fresh and flavorful with lots of different textures. The portion is also huge! They also had seasonal specials so we ordered the fried green tomatoes, which were soooo yummy! Crispy and fresh out the fryer with a tangy dipping sauce. Love love loved this one, as well as the onion rings, which is my favorite side to get from Gott's. Always a great spot for some yummy lunch!

Great location. Road my bike around Stanford University and went here for lunch. Great day to eat outside. Burger and fries with an ice cream afterwards. Would def go here again. I was worried it would take too long with the line outside the door but it only took maybe 10 minutes. The bathrooms were clean too. Three spots for bikes so that was convenient.

Friday night group dinner - * Location: Town & County shopping center, park closer to Trader Joe's to save yourself from non-stop traffic jams. Be prepared for significant queues and crowds outdoors. * Service: Order at cashier, get a buzzer, collect food from Pick-Up station. We had to remind the cashier about the beer we ordered. * Food: Bf got burger, fries, beer, I ordered the Citrus & Avocado Chop salad. Bf enjoyed the beer, I couldn't more than a few bites of the salad - bland, flavorless (even with the light dressing; not a pinch of salt or pepper around to save the dish), cold dull chicken. With so many dining options on and just off of University Ave just a block away, there's no reason to ever stop here.

It's always bustling at Gott's. Plenty of tables indoors and outdoors. Order and pay first, take a pager, find seating, then pick up food once it's ready. I got the California burger and shared onion rings and garlic fries. Loved my California burger! I'm a fan of fried eggs and avocados in my burgers so this was right up my alley. Not my order but tried some of the hamburger which was standard, and tried some of the gruyere & caramelized onion cheeseburger which wasn't bad but a bit too creamy/dense for my liking and not enough toppings to cut the creaminess. Garlic fries were great, onion rings were alright. Some of the onion rings were cooked too long and burnt, and the batter was a bit excessive with not much onion. Overall solid spot especially if you want a nice outdoor dining vibe.

There is plenty of seating for large parties.

We ordered: Double Cheeseburger$16.99 Cheeseburger$11.99 Hamburger$10.99 Onion Rings$4.99 Fries$4.49 Mahi Mahi Tacos$14.99 Burgers were all made to order, medium rare! We love the onion rings. We accidentally walked through the exit door at first, and were a little confused. Oops. Here, you'll order at the cashiers, and they'll hand you a buzzer puck. There's a lot of families here, which means your experience may be noisy and a little messy. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like there were staff cleaning tables for left-behind messes. The only table available had quite a mess on it. Our cashier was a little pushy on addons and upgrades, which was a little uncomfortable. We ordered the bacon cheeseburger, gruyere + caramelized onion burger, chili cheese fries, and onion rings. The menu totes that the burgers are cooked medium well, but this burger was definitely well-done - no hint of pinkness in it. The patty was too chewy, and so was the bacon. The gruyere burger's patty was at least a little pink. The first few bites were okay, but afterwards, the burger felt monotonous in its flavors. The chili-cheese fries have a fair amount of chili. But for something so colorful, it was surprisingly bland. The onion rings were good. Nice and crispy, with a flavorful batter. If you find yourself here, do grab these.

Get Gott Up Iconic Bay Area diner that saw it's humble beginnings w/ two brothers back in 1999 after they toke over an old (ca. 1949) roaside stand in Napa. That stand has brought them so much success that they now have eight Bay Area locations (two of which are at SFO and one inside the Chase Center), with upcoming expansions to SoCal imminent. This Town & Country (T&C) location has been in operation since 2013, and has been a T&C staple. The Good: *Friendly service *Local and macro brews on-tap, as well as fermented grapes. *Covered outdoor dog-friendly patio *Not just burgers, but they also have salads, tacos, sandwiches, and glizzies. *Garlic fries were delicious and worth the hype. *Carissa absolutely adored her Vietnamese Chicken Salad--as she wouldn't stop raving about it. *My Kimchi burger was so good and absolutely satisfied my burger craving. I loved all the accouterments as well, as the kimchi, bacon, and egg really brought the burger to a new level. My one qualm was the burger itself was a touch over for my liking, but the egg yolk and kimchi helped with the needed moisture. The Meh: *I wish they'd open one a little *ahem* closer to home in the SJ area. *Weekends can be super packed, as we happened to be at T&C one Sat a few weeks back and there was a giant bike party grabbing lunch here at Gott's. The Ugly: *T&C parking can be a nightmare at the best of times. Conclusion: Ignore the low Yelp avg and come here if you're craving a burger with a twist and an ice cold draft beer. Highly recommended.

No. They give you a number and you have to pick it up at the end of the counter .. there are seats near the counter so maybe pick that so you don't have to do much walking

Are the beef burgers cooked at the same place as the bacon? Trying to find if this is a kosher friendly place. Thanks!

The two of us were dubious about the Millionaire's Bacon, because it was hyped up to the point where it seemed unlikely that it could live up to the reputation. We were wrong. We ordered the Millionaire's Bacon sampler platter, which is four strips of long, thick pieces of bacon, baked with brown sugar and spices. There is the original, which is brown sugar, cayenne, red, and black pepper, which was sweet, salty, and the perfect amount of spicy. The other slices were orange, cinnamon, and rosemary. My partner enjoyed the orange best, whereas I loved the cinnamon, but we both thought the rosemary was underwhelming. The bacon itself was very thick and meaty with a minimal amount of fat, and was just clearly high quality pork. Truly worth the hype. We also got the bottomless mimosas, which not only had multiple choices of juice (we got raspberry lemonade) but were surprisingly heavy on the champagne. The waiter kept them coming without us needing to ask, to the point where I had to tell him I was done because I was a little too tipsy for breakfast. My partner got the chicken croffle, and was very impressed. I tried the fried chicken (though not the croffle) and it was very well spiced, very crunchy, and well cooked--juicy and tender. I got the big hip, which is deep fried "french toast". I wouldn't call it french toast myself, but it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and came with fresh fruit, butter, and syrup. There wasn't enough syrup for the entire dish, but I asked our waiter for more and he came back with it in less than a minute. On top of the food being as close to perfect as you can get, the service was great. Several different waiters checked in on us throughout the meal, making sure we were enjoying the food and that we didn't need anything else. The vibes of the restaurant are really enjoyable too. The décor is lovely, the sound levels are very reasonable, and everything was spotless during our visit. Overall, I can't recommend Sweet Maple enough, and I'm kind of glad it's not closer to my house because I would go bankrupt with the amount of Millionaire's Bacon I'd buy on a weekly basis.

Deviled Eggs were standard, if not for the hint of kimchi. I didn't try the Chicken & Waffles or BLT my table ordered. I ate my fair share of Lemon Butter Prawns; a side comes with six pieces & trust me, you won't want to share. The Loco Moco was incredible -- earthy mushroom gravy over sticky sushi rice and a chuck & brisket patty. Topped with an egg (made over medium like I requested) & finished with a side of arugula salad (my favorite greens) & I was full for days (just kidding, hours.) We ordered a lightly-dressed Caesar Salad with avocado just to cleanse our palates from all the rich textures & flavors. I'll be back for dinner STAT, so please save me a seat.

We stopped by for an early weekday lunch. The burger, risotto, and cauliflower were all enjoyable,…read morethough I'd probably skip the cauliflower next time and try something different. The iced teas were refreshing and, according to our friendly server, made in-house. The restaurant filled up quickly during the time we were there. Parking in the plaza can be busy, but we were able to find a spot after one loop around.

My husband loves this place, and we've been coming here since they first opened, so we are fairly…read moreregulars here! The chicken sandwich is my go-to, i like Nashville hot, it's crispy, well seasoned, and goes perfectly with their truffle aioli. Who doesn't like a good truffle sauce? If I am not feeling spicy, I go for their regular sandwich, which is delicious as well, and I have had their tenders (I am not too keen on the though my husband loves them). And I have had their fries, which are also good. I am not a soda person at all, but I did try their super unique soda once, they have some fun flavors. It felt indulgent Overall, it's a a decent spot with decent customer service (which can be a hit or a miss sometimes) hence I deducted a star. Overall a decent spot we keep coming back to and recommend if you are fan of crispy fried chicken sandwiches snd good sauces Interior is usually clean, and can be loud sending on the time. Parking is mostly on the street or there is a large parking lot near by as well

I don't understand the high reviews... AT ALL…read more The 4 piece chicken I ordered was so dry it felt like chewing bits of meat that wasn't chicken. The elote corn was soo salty like what. Couldn't taste the mayonnaise or corn. Oh my god the truffle fries...cmon it's fries you can't mess up. It was only slightly flavorful and only for the fries on the top. Once you get to the sides or middle they were soggy, not salty, and just gross. The only saving point of this meal were the churros. I don't understand the hype- you can get the justbare spicy chicken from the FROZEN aisle and it still taste way better than this. Overall: 2/10 recommend. Idk why anyone would order from here
