Ordered a small round cake for my mom's 96th birthday - pink champagne cake, strawberry lemon compote, buttercream frosting. First, it was gorgeous... flowers with some tastefully placed sugar spheres (don't know what to call them!) and writing on top. The cake was so beautiful and smooth that it almost looked like a fake cake! But the real icing on the cake (couldn't resist... :) was how delicious it was! The cake was light and moist, the filling just the right amount of tart/sweet and the buttercream? perfection! At room temp, it was dreamy light. I froze some cake, and the buttercream was like ice cream that didn't melt. I tell ya, my mom is not a big dessert person plus she is bird sized and eats like one. But after birthday dinner, we both had a piece. And then had a second piece. And then a third piece and we had to talk ourselves into stopping! We took some out of the freezer for dessert today, and mom was still raving about it! WELL DONE GOTTI SWEETS! So good! read more

We got a kitchen sink cookie and my husband and I can't recall ever tasting a better cookie. He's from Germany and is therefore a bakery snob to that's sayin' something coming from him! Super nice folks read more

We had the carrot cake and red velvet cupcakes and they were delicious! Plus they were very friendly and helpful.

Thank you for the awesome Godzilla Birthday Cake for my son's 6th Birthday Party. Everyone loved the Peanut Butter and Chocolate. read more

This bakery is delicious. I ordered their cupcake dozen for a wedding cake tasting and the flavors were amazing. The shop owner is very kind and really takes your wants into consideration. Must try! read more

Lovely little shop! Deducting a star since they don't offer any sort of plates but they offer forks... Even a paper plate would be nice! My friend and I came here on our day trip to Olympia and weren't disappointed with the two cupcakes we chose and split. The Boston Cream was delicious and the pistachio, the last one at that, was even better! Every pastry is very well decorated. We got to sample a pie crust roll up, though we were most definitely there for cupcakes. Looks like they offer coffee/espresso sometimes but the machine was out of service. If I'm in Olympia again and have a hankering for sweets I'll definitely come back. read more

Was hoping to try this place out as I've heard good reviews but arrived to find a sign on the door that said "customer pick ups only." I walked in and asked if they were open for business to find out "I haven't made anything this week and I might be changing my business concept since I bake everything myself." Hmmmm..... well how is one to find out if we'd like your items if we can't taste anything to place an order? Sorry I made the drive to be disappointed. Definitely won't be back. read more

Best baker ever! I wanted what I thought to be a unique birthday cake and wasn't sure what they would think. She didn't even hesitate at my request! And when I picked it up I knew why...this girl is insanely talented! The cake was way better than I could've imagined, so creative and perfect! And the cake and filling were fabulous too! Seriously, perfect! All of it! Location is easy go get to, selection of goodies you can buy when you walk in is excellent and the baker is friendly and personable! Love this place! I'll be back, this is going to be a dangerous addiction! :-) read more

One word macaroons!! Watch your hours of operation three times we stopped by and closed

Can't say enough great things about these baked goods, the owner and this business. Honestly the cupcakes are gorgeous and I have yet to try one I didn't love. The cake is so moist but not over sweet. I love all of the fruit fillings. They are just the right amount and again, not overly sweet. They actually taste like each unique fruit- very well crafted. We enjoyed the cupcakes so much that we ordered a custom cake for my daughter's 16th birthday. In spite of the pandemic, Lauren, the owner was very clear about her capacity and her communication was ideal. She took the right amount of info, and provided my kid with her dream cake. And honestly I can't believe she didn't charge more! It was stunning! The whole experience was both warm and professional through and through. I feel like I've made a new friend and I now know where we can count on loading up on sweet treats. Not to be overlooked is Lauren's commitment to the community! She and her partner give and give in spite of often being targeted by both ideological hate groups and insensitive patrons. Be wary of the one-star reviews here- it is clear that they are essentially a campaign of white people who are working hard to undermine what is a known and cherished Black-woman owned business. Disrespectful people who have an unrealistic expectation of being treated as if they are a business's single customer have some personal work to do. Their issues are deeper than customer service: highest on their list being anti-Blackness and misogynoir. Take note. Did I mention that their cookies are completely amazing also?!!! read more

So I just have to write this review as I sit here eating this delicious apple pie with crumble topping that Gotti Sweets made. I ordered a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving then called back and ordered an apple pie (Daughter's request) with the choice of regular topping or crumble topping. Tried the pumpkin first and omg I went from one slice to two slices next! Day after Thanksgiving I try a slice of Apple and it is DELICIOUS! Perfect texture crust and apple flavors. Did I mention everything's made from scratch? Yess! The whole family approved. If you need pies for Thanksgiving this is the place. I don't know if they make them for Christmas but I hope so because I'll be ordering here for sure! Thanks again for the delicious pie's and extended hours the day before Thanksgiving. Until next time. read more

Stopped in and got a few different items, spent nearly $50 for 3 cupcakes, 2 slices of cheesecake and a very large slice of a rainbow layered cake. My husband liked the brownie cheesecake. He said it was a good combination but not the best cheesecake he has had. I hat the strawberry lemon cupcake and it was fantastic. My son loved his chocolate cup cake. I had a bite of my daughter's rainbow cake and it was meh. The next night we had the vanilla cupcake it was great. The blueberry cheesecake has coconut. I was not expecting that, and unfortunately I have a mild coconut allergy. I would definitely go again, but probably stick with the cupcakes. read more

I would not recommend going here for a gender reveal surprise! When the order was picked up they immediately said the gender of the baby and had blue on top of the cupcake giving it away. They were also very combative when we called to say something about it and tried to put blame on us. Yes we called two days before to place the order but please do not accept orders if you do not have the time. I would've loved the opportunity to go elsewhere instead of having this mishap. This is our first child and you really ruined the experience for our family member. Thank you for the effort though! read more

The cheesecake I got here was delicious!! They are super friendly and they accommodate my last minute order for the cheesecake. Definitely a return customer. Do yourself a favor and support a local business and get something delicious. read more

I attempted to get a hold of someone here to order my twin daughters' birthday cakes (during normal business hours)... I called a couple weeks ahead of when I wanted them to be finished. I left two voicemails hoping for a follow-up call, but alas, no follow-up calls were received. Was really looking forward to supporting a local company for years to come... but I've found the "no response" to be offensive and indicates a shortage of employees or employees who care. Will not give this place a second thought... read more

I came out from New Mexico to throw a baby shower for my brother with my sis and my mom. We placed the order over the phone and it was super easy. The owner clearly knows what's up. Ok, who invented this pie-tot crack?? Good grief..... We picked up a couple delicious looking cupcakes for breakfast tomorrow and a 1/2 pound (yes, sold by the pound) of the pie tots. Apple, cinnamon, lemon, blueberry, whiskey-pecan..... A few more flavors available that I'm forgetting. Just a tiny little cake shop turning out tasty treats!! read more

Absolutely wonderful and beyond sweet, and kindhearted staff. I'm always anxious to try new things, and I kept forgetting the flavors that one worker told me. He would go over them many times, which I felt bad about, but he did it with a smile and such consideration. Never rushed, never got impatient, never sighed. I was greeted with genuine smiles-- not the fake half smile-- genuine, happy smiles and a loving attitude. The people here work so hard, very fast, very busy, but never stop their loving attitude and their perfection for their foods. I got some macaroons from them and I could genuinely taste the love, along with the food just being spectacular. They are very efficient, fast, but also take their time perfecting every single creation. read more

When I consider a 5-star rating, I ask myself, would I go out of my way to return to this place? For Gotti's pie crust roll-ups, the answer is an astounding yes! Everything seems to be freshly made from scratch or close to it and crafted by hand. The little imperfections in the desserts, the sweet lady who helped us and kept offering samples, and the no-frills store front and fair prices all made me fall absolutely in love. It's a shock to me this place isn't totally famous by now! read more
