I've visited this club a few times since it opened. Today my visit was while my car gets worked on at AAA across the street. There are number of positives about this location - Plenty of parking - Nicely laid out a equipment - The massage chairs are located in an area where you can look out over the trees. - it's clean. - From what I've seen there is a higher percentage of clientele wiping down the equipment when they're done versus some other clubs. - It's located in a shopping center with Acme. if you needed to do food shopping it's only steps away. If your car is in for service at AAA all you have to do is walk across the street. (Caution it's 4 lane Baltimore Pike so take your time to decide when to safely cross) If there weren't three clubs within 5 miles of my home I would probably work out here more often. But I can safely say you would enjoy your visit here

I wanted to make sure I was using this gym for a few months before I wrote a review. I have now…read morebeen going to this Planet Fitness for over 6 months, and there are some very obvious gains and losses that I need to point out. This is what I call the "McDonald's" of gyms. It's cheap, no frills, and to the point. A friend of mine joined a gym around the neighborhood where he lives and we are constantly comparing amenities at our respective gyms. Since my gym has no "extras" I was constantly saying to him "oh damn I wish my gym had that! But mine's cheaper!" I also wouldn't say the staff at PF is exactly "friendly," either. I had one instance when I was trying to check in at the front desk and nobody was paying any attention to me (I stood there quite awhile), no warm welcome to this Planet. I finally just said screw it and started to walk in. AT THAT EXACT moment a gentleman looks up from his computer screen and says "YOU NEED TO CHECK IN HERE!" Just peachy! Other than that no problems. Clean facilities, no creepy guys in the locker room, and an overall "get in and get out" atmosphere. The price is probably the biggest thing to highlight in this review. I pay 10 bucks a month with a yearly 60 dollar fee, which is the only reason I would stay a member of this big box of a gym.

You get a different HIIT type workout per class you choose. A few of the classes are stretch classes but even those will feel like an intense workout for me. You may get to use plates, a battle rope, the usual weights, jump rope, a mini "track" where you bend down and get back up running back and forth, and semi-gym bike you must balance yourself on. Visiting many fitness centers including this one has helped me appreciate what is here more. My body acted weird with the 12 workouts I had here as I surprisingly never lost weight except for one time when I had 2 workouts on a Thursday and a Saturday, I temporarily suddenly lost 9 lbs. I couldn't do workouts harder than I did as I would get dizzy and I have been checked for these physical reactions already and I am thankfully fine. My stamina rebuilding has been real slow. I do wish there was some short breaks planned because I get worn out and start to hate exercise with the constant pressure to move. Every gym and almost every trainer I have been with has been like this though. You have to try to pace yourself completely :( This is a good place for getting a quality workout for your money's worth.

They were denied snack time and had their slime that they made taken away and given to other kids. The reason for this was a pocket-sized light was found in the pool after their group got out. The camp instructor tried to get the kids to "confess" as to who took the thing and basically punished them when no one spoke up. As if the kids would know who did it. When the camp director finally got back to me when I emailed her, she admitted that one of the kids could have accidentally put in their pocket and that the "punishment" wasn't appropriate. I wouldn't send my child to this camp again.

I looked around and contacted several different trainers, Jeff responded before anyone else. Although I looked at a few others, I picked Jeff because I just liked him. It was an excellent choice. He is dedicated, he knows so much about wellness and more importantly he is always learning. I can ask anything about nutrition, lifestyle or training and if he needs more information, he finds out and then shares with me. The thing that matters most is that here I am, four months past my big day and I still train with Jeff. I am also so happy to say that my husband was so impressed with what he saw and with what I told him, that he now trains with Jeff too. I have been so impressed with the way in which Jeff has modified everything to meet my husband where he is. A very different place than where I ever was, and the results are already visible. Not only does my husband look healthier, he clearly feels better too. It has been such a positive experience for both of us.

I'll admit, I begrudgingly went to the second class dreading the various cycles we had gone through the week before. I assumed that because the classes were free, they would be exactly the same.
