Gorgeous, high end shop for cannabis needs and wants. The staff is a bit pushy and seemed annoyed with our questions and browsing and not knowing exactly what we wanted as we had never been in a NYC dispensary, especially with these different options. We ended up buying a few joints and a can of high energy CBD/THC mix gummies. Lots of accessories and gifts, not all cannabis related available to browse and purchase here as well as a gallery of art in the loft area which was cool. Beautiful, bright and clean, Gotham is the kind of one-stop shop for gummies, tinctures, CBD, THC, and full spectrum items. The staff is so nice and helpful and I appreciate that they have an array of items at each counter for you to peruse. You can also look online ahead of time, which I did because I wanted Rose Delights (I think these might be no longer available here so check) and my husband wanted higher ratio THC gummies. What I love about Gotham is that they have more vegan options, whereas some of the other places I've gone to do not. They also have a good amount of lower THC items which I appreciate because I can't handle more than 5 mg in an edible. In addition, they have all kinds of gifts, clothing and accessories. I've been coming here since September or so. For starters, the store is really nice and the curation of items outside of the dispensary is really nice. As for the dispensary, the line to order is really confusing as there's no queue set up so it's a free for all. There have been a handful of times when someone else was seen before me, even though they were behind me in line. Not too big of a deal for me, nothing to rush over and the customer service is great. Any review saying otherwise is some sort of personal vendetta and thats the truth. Every one is nice. While customer service is superior, sometimes people are too attentive to the customers and they take too long. I was in a few days ago for a Carrie Bradshaw ashtray, and the employee helping the person in front of me I kid you not spent 20 minutes chitchatting while i stood at the register with this ashtray in hand. I understand being understaffed but mama just tell your client "excuse me let me just ring this person up really quick." I ended up buying it off the Franklin shop website while standing in line and walked out the store empty-handed. As for the selection, outside of the dispensary everything is so cool. Inside the dispensary, it's everything competitors in the area carry. They carry everything housing works carries, the only thing is that everything is overpriced here. You will be spending $10-$25 more on most bud here. It's sad but it's the truth. Gotham is my go to in the winter since it's super close to me but in warmer weather I'm just walking to housing works instead. read more

Gorgeous store, don't let that fool you! Went to the back to order. Knew exactly what I wanted - it was a large order. TWICE the staff helped men behind me who had been there less time than me. I wanted an obscenely long time at multiple counters. I literally couldn't order. I was the only woman standing alone. Maybe they'll only help men or women with men? My husband was standing at another counter and also was never helped. After that we left. Haven't been treated this poorly in a while. I ordered from them for the first time and one of the items (a $70 CBD oil) tasted rancid and then I saw it was expired. I emailed with a picture of the box, the expiration date on the bottle, etc and asked to exchange... and got no response. A week or so later, I followed up. No response. Third email, no response. this company hired my gf for a supervisor position at a new location upstate. no where in the interview process nor the offer letter was it mentioned they would have to travel to the city for a 4 day overnight training. Then 2 weeks before the start date Is when they decided this training in the city would take place. When she could not accommodate due to being a single mother with a dog at home as well that she could not leave for 3 nights they took back the offer and left her jobless bc of course after accepting the offer she put her two weeks in at her current job. This company cares nothing about its employees or people's livelihood. they were all to willing to just drop her and leave her without a job as soon as it was slightly Inconvenient for them. read more

This shop is the manifestation of when you let weird people make money. Sales person was more into making their colleagues laugh than creating an atmosphere that made customers want to return. The product, aside from being over priced, smelled like a fun day after class in middle school without any of the good memories and just as old.
