I started seeing her last July to help with chronic severe painful periods I've been experiencing since an injury to my pelvis a number of years ago. I saw shifts almost within the first month in both my cycle and pain levels, and continued improvement in the months following. During the visit, she described to me how my injury impacted my pelvis and all the soft tissues within it- the tension in my pelvis was contributing to the extremely painful periods I was getting month after month. She took time to give me instructions on self-care so that I could also continue the work at home in between sessions. Bryn also gave me castor oil packs and herbal tonics that would both help relieve my cramping and pain and keep my reproductive system healthy & supported. Getting worked on by Bryn was important to me not only for pain-relief but also because we were planning on having a baby; I wanted to make sure that everything was structurally as healthy and well-aligned in my pelvis as possible. Fast forward months later, we are now expecting our first baby! Everything in our pregnancy has been normal and I am now, in my 2nd trimester, continuing treatment to make sure my pelvis stays nicely open, tension-free and aligned so that baby has lots of space to grow comfortably! The abdominal massage has also been nice for relieving low back/hip ache and pelvic floor discomfort that is so common in pregnancy as well... My sessions with Bryn are remarkably calming, soothing and I always walk out feeling a difference in my body. If you are a woman- whether you're menstruating, pre-natal, post-partum or experiencing menopause, Bryn's work is absolutely beneficial and healing!

Not that I can get in fast enough as her schedule is usually booked up and I can't get in 2-3 weeks later from the time I want... So more than 70% of the times I go elsewhere to seek treatments. BUT if I do get in, she usually gives me the best diagnose and treatments that my achy and sore body needs (Nobody does it better!) Sometimes she tells me PT is what I need and refers me to a physical therapist of my choice (closer to my home than her office is). Note that her office offers massage and physical therapy besides the acupuncture treatment. So why 3 stars? Minus one for long wait and weird appt system setup. Don't expect anyone pick up your call when you phone in. You MUST leave a message and they call you back. It's exhausting if they call and you're not avail. The whole vicious cycle starts again... leave message... they call back... Minus another star for the doc attitude. Other reviewers are right on the spot about her cold, unfriendly and lack of communication style. I think it comes from her personality and family/cultural background. It makes patients feel unwelcome and less caring. Sometimes I even wonder if she needs patients now that she has ppl lining up to see her.

As a first time patient of Jenny has a ton of specialization with pre/post natal patients so I felt like I was in great hands the whole time. She helped answer a ton of questions and always made sure to provide emotional support as well. I went in with a very annoying back pain probably caused from carrying my toddler around while in my third trimester. Within 2 sessions I felt a noticeable difference and by the 3rd session, it was nearly gone. Labor preparation went well and the acupressure techniques she shared with me (and my partner) really helped with pain management when I was in active labor. This was my first time exploring acupuncture and my husband and I are both believers! It was an incredible experience with Jenny - everything from the way she operates her business, new patient consultation, managing billing and insurance... all the way to each acupuncture session and her calming presence. Can't wait to start my post natal acupuncture sessions with Jenny soon!
