I found an ad on CL advertising a special: $99 any car. I emailed them to get information. Lisa,…read moresaid she had no problem honoring the ad (it was supposed to be down a few days earlier.) She gave me all the information up front. I ended up waiting until June 1st to come by as I was in the area for other things that day. No problem. When I got there, Randy helped me out. This is what happens- they explain their products and options. (My choices and taxes were only $30 over the advertised price.) You choose what you want, they take your information and pay up front. I know this may be a red flag for other people but here is the deal. Randy minimizes waste by putting multiple configurations in the computer which laser cuts your window shapes. He asks that you call the following day to set up your appointment. Most cars should take about 3-4 hours. I ended up waiting until Monday to call (stuck in the regular business hours of things) but they are open 7 days a week until 9pm. ***I found out that my brother is a long time customer of his. He has had 5 cars tinted with Got Tint and is very satisfied with Randy's work. He was highly recommended and has been in business for over 20 years*** My appointment was a 2pm about two weeks out. No problem for me, they are busy with it being summer an all. I brought the car and Randy did a thorough walkthrough of any damage to the car. He did mention that it may run a little late today, but he would call with an update. No problem, I didn't have any plans and was having dinner at my Mom's anyway. Shortly after I left, we got an infamous Florida rain storm for about 45 minutes or longer. He called me in the evening to let me know he needed one more hour. He waited for me to get my things together an come by to pick up the car. Upon arriving, he and I went over the car again and let me know the critical info. Keep the windows up. Park it in the sun and let it "bake" for 3 days. If it rains, 5 to 7 days. He will do an inspection that takes 5 minutes, just give him a heads up when I am on the way. Well, wouldn't you know, it rained the first two days. Tonight is my 3rd full day of sunshine. Everything has been fantastic from my point of view. I'll be stopping by tomorrow to have him do his check up. I suspect everything will be just fine.

He gave me 3 set prices and told me he can give me a quick explanation the day I would come in. As soon as I walked in the shop it was clean, simple, and very professional. He explained the 3 options and DID NOT try up-sell me at all! Thank you! I can't count how many times as a female not knowing much about cars, and having auto businesses try to up-sell me on every product/service. He also showed me a few examples of the different tints on cars outside to make sure I knew what I wanted. I originally came in wanting a tint level on my car within the legally limits of CA, but we both agreed they were too light for the privacy I wanted. So he gave me the brilliant idea to keep my car registered in FL, so that way I can still drive in CA, have my darker tint, and not get pulled over (cops in CA are stingy on car tints). Anyways, Justin is awesome and I'm so glad he thought of a different option for me to get the tint I want. From the time I walked in, I was out a little less than an hour and a half. I rated it a 3 star due to the absurd charge they will put on your credit card if you charge and the fact I wasn't told that upon my initial quote. It would have added another $75 just to have the privilege of charging on my CC. So I said I would use my debit card instead, she said the same charge applies. I thought that was odd so so I looked it up after the fact and found that most credit card companies prohibit merchants from surcharging debit card transactions. So had I known that I would have probably left. My opinion is most of your customers are probably going to charge given the cost and that's just a part of doing business and not pawn off your surcharge fees to your customers. I previously owned a business so I know the process and didn't charge it to my customers. I left after dropping it off to get cash so my wife picked me up since they said it would 3 or more hours to complete. The cost to do a full ceramic UV film on my GMC Truck was rather high in my opinion at $710 but I chose to pay it anyway so the bad is on me if I didn't want the job done. This wasn't my original quote because I had them add the clear UV film to the passenger and rear windows since the factory tint has zero UV heat protection according to what they told me. Overall the job was done well! But the extreme additional costs at the end of the job that made me leave to get cash made the whole experience less than satisfactory. I will continue to watch the UV film clear up in some spots as they said and will update the review if I have problems.

I called them and was able to get an appointment for a Saturday two weeks later. They sent me an email with pricing and explaining the different options. They said I could choose my tint shade when I got there. When I arrived, the lady at the front desk helped me figure out what would be best for me and let me know it would be about 4 hours. So my Dad was nice enough to pick me up and spend the day with me. I got a call at about 1:30 and was told the car would be ready in about a half hour, apologized for the delay and I was shocked! It was not overdue, it was right and time and they were keeping in communication! It was great! When I got there, my car looked great! Kind of like an orca, black and white the way I like it! They even added (yes for a nominal cost) the front windshield visor. I wasn't sure how I felt but it has been great! They said to leave the windows up for a few days but I actually scheduled it the day before leaving town for 3 weeks so it got to sit and just cure! When I got back, it looked great! It has been fantastic and I am so glad I did it! I would absolutely return and recommend!
