The pork belly pho was unimpressive as well, the egg was hard boiled not soft boiled and the meat could use charring. We also got thai basil chicken wings and clearly they use the same batter for everything as I had a piece of shrimp fried into the batter. This grossed my fiance out and he didn't eat anymore after my shrimp discovery. I still ate them and they were okay and i liked the flavor but under the fried batter the chicken skin was gooey. The only thing saving this review was the service as our waitress was very kind and attentive and the thai tea which was a decent size and not too sweet like most other places. No corporate franchise. Just a local couple who own it. I'd rather support local business. You order at the window and there are plenty of options for flavors. They even had a special flavor that they seem to rotate which is cool. We shared a pizza and they were able to make it half of what he wanted and half of what I wanted. The pizza was actually very tasty and it didn't leave me feeling yucky like some of those other major pizza places do with all that grease. I enjoyed looking at the walls that had newspaper clippings and stories of the owners humble beginnings and history with the pizza shop. Would definitely recommend and be back for sure!
