Hollywood AIS is nothing short of Spud Webb amazing! I was referred by my compadre Maxwell and was a little skeptical about his praise for this place. I had gone to The General, Adriana's (stay away from them criminals!) , and other insurance agencies and was never satisfied. Not only would I pay more then Terrell Owens pays for child support, but I would leave knowing little information about my policy. Until I stepped into this place! Laura and crew came to the rescue like Robin Williams in Hook( sucks Rufio had to die though )! They literally explained everything in detail, and schooled a young brotha in the insurance game. Love! This place is top notch they they are awesome and they watch out for you and your pocket. It's not about the money it's about helping you. Now we are all tight on money and they were able to look up a real cheap deal and recommended payments in 3 months so I save a lot more. Let me just start off by saying that I've had a horrible experience with previous brokers and insurance. I read the review here and everyone recommended Laura. I gave her a call, not only did she answer by questions, she was honest, friendly and the best part she beat the quote that I got from my other company. The reviews don't lie! I got my 2nd DUI and I needed new car insurance but everywhere I went it was in the high 200's and I came here after reading reviews and dang I made the right choice! Im paying under $100 and I couldn't be more thrilled, Laura is amazing! She explain what I was getting, what were my different options, and she was able to send me everything via email signed it over my phone and got it done! Hollywood's Auto Insurance has the best service i've encountered!!! When I was a personal assistant looking for auto insurance for my boss I went through at least 5 different agencies before going to Hollywood's Auto Insurance and they gave me the best quote! 100% customer service at all times, they are very professional, informative and kind! After having a really horrible experience with my last insurance company (INFINITY) I was shopping around for something new but figuring out insurance is not easy for me. My boyfriend referred me to Laura who just happens to be the BEST insurance agent EVER! As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by a friendly face behind a computer. Laura made sure I felt at home in her office, offered me everything but the kitchen sink while narrowing down the best insurance for my needs and budget. Highly recommend her and her staff. It is kid friendly (has a few toys at the front) while parents get their paperwork done. Also, she makes herself beyond available for all her clients at any time of day. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact her (including what to do if you're in an accident). She loves what she does and loves helping people out. Thanks Laura!!! And she just saved my friend $150 a month for insurance. FYI she also does all online services if you have no time to drop by. read more

They are by far the best insurance company I have ever dealt with. In all honesty I have an awful driving record and this has never kept them from finding me a good policy. They have always been able to find me the lowest rate and accommodate all of my needs. The customer service is outstanding. They are always courteous and able to answer all of my questions. I have referred them to many friends and family members and they have always found them the lowest rate as well. It is comforting to know that despite all of my driving screw ups I was still able to find a company that would work with me. It was ridiculous how much other companies wanted to charge me. If you want an insurance agent who is truly looking out for your interests, you have found the right place. It seems as if today so many places are only interested in collecting your money and providing as little service as possible in return...That's not the case at Hollywood Auto Insurance. Laura will help you construct an insurance package that provides all the coverage you need or want without the stuff you don't. Laura really took the time to explain everything and help me understand my insurance policy and coverage. She keeps it real and really knows her stuff when it comes to insurance policies and the law. Where do I begin? To…read moresay my experience with this broker has been frustrating would be an understatement. I was originally enrolled in my health insurance through her back in 2017 by my former partner. After our separation, I needed to explore more affordable options since my financial situation had changed. Naturally, I contacted my insurance provider, Anthem, directly to discuss cancelling or modifying my plan. To my surprise, I was told I could not make changes through them and would need to go through my broker. That's where the difficulty began. When I attempted to contact Ms. Gordon, I was met with a voicemail stating that I needed to provide my credit card information just to speak with her. She would not answer questions via email or text--only through a paid phone consultation. This immediately raised concerns for me. I was trying to cancel my plan and transition to a different provider, Kaiser Permanente, and did not feel comfortable sharing my credit card information in that situation. Given today's environment, I believe it's reasonable to be cautious about providing sensitive financial information--especially when I was not trying to make a payment, but simply cancel a service. Interestingly, my former partner--who originally set up the policy--confirmed he was never required to provide credit card information just to communicate. It seemed that once my intent to cancel became clear, the process became significantly more difficult. Eventually, after I informed her that I had already secured new coverage independently, she reached out to me. During that conversation, she attempted to get me to state that she had enrolled me in the new plan, which I declined. At that point, I had deliberately chosen not to work with a broker due to how complicated the cancellation process had been. To be fair, when I spoke directly with Anthem, they were helpful--until they realized I had originally signed up through a broker. That experience made it clear to me that consumers can enroll directly with insurance providers and may have more control by doing so. In hindsight, it felt as though there was little incentive to assist me in cancelling, especially given that brokers often earn commissions tied to active policies. Whether intentional or not, the process felt unnecessarily obstructive. I'm sharing this experience as a caution to others: if you work through a broker, your insurance provider may direct you back to them for support--even for basic account changes or cancellations. That can create an added layer of difficulty when you're trying to make decisions about your own coverage. As a client for over seven years, I expected clearer communication and more flexibility--especially during a time when I needed to make a change. At the very least, alternative ways to communicate (email, basic support, or a receptionist) would have made a significant difference. Due to this experience, I plan to file a complaint with the California Department of Insurance so the situation can be reviewed.

Every representative is here to help. I thought brokers where horrible! Now i have a different way of thinking after shopping here. They have a variety of companies some main stream and some that do there job, kind of like a Target brand same ingredients just a Target label but gets the job done. You can make you're payments directly through the agency or on line. Shopping around for auto insurance found Hollywood AIS. Other reviews say they are nice people and can get good prices for you, so I went to try them. The place is clean and comfortable. The agent who attend me and my wife was Antonio Medina, and I can say nothing but good things about him. He quickly find an affordable plan for us and explaining us all the details, answering every single question and even giving us some tips. Antonio and Hollywood AIS not only save us money but also time, they explain you all the policy terms in plain English, that means you don't get confused with all the terminology and you know what you are covered for and what not right there and to avoid getting surprises the day you have an incident. If your looking for the best quality at the lowest prices I recommend calling Laura at Hollywood AIS. Laura came through on a great deal for me and the family, my only regret is not having found this place years ago! I ended up adding a car onto my policy and still paying less than I was with the other company. Laura is really good at what she does, and her customer service skills are superb! Wow! Hollywood Auto Insurance in Van Nuys is the best! I had been looking for a cheaper auto insurance. They convinced me to go to their office by giving me an excellent customer service! As a result I'm saving $800.00 a year! Please go with them, even if you don't need auto insurance but you're paying to much on the one you have right now. They will bit any offer out on the market.
