He had his crew strip all of the old, shoddy materials from these sections of roof and rebuild them to provide better drainage. His company is one that was recommended by Angi and honestly now I am skeptical of Angi and will never use them again either after this experience. We wanted trek stairs going from the patio to a side door and pavers all around as the patio. Gramarossa are not professionals. The guys they hire seem to be randomly plucked off the street as they have no clue what they were doing. I should have known because when I spoke to Ben he said they did not do trek steps, only masonry. I set an appointment anyway because I figured maybe I can hire someone else to do my trek steps. Yet when he spoke to my husband a few days later (I was at work) he said they do them. It was a disaster from the moment the backyard pavers were laid out. The whole thing was literally slanted sideways by probably 10-15 degrees. In fact the next day the whole thing had to take down and redone. Ben claimed it happened unfortunately because he was not watching his men because he was too busy shopping for our trek materials. The trek steps was done by a man from an entirely different company. It seems they have hired him separately on the side to do it so they can have our business... and it was a SHOTTY job. Ben and his father was watching the man do the work and never said anything about how terrible it was... until we brought it up and they agreed it was not up to their standards. So If we were timid and didn't say anything, they would've definitely let it slide. Whatever. I was just glad they fixed everything without putting up a fight. But here's the thing that really made me angry. His men put their materials and mixed concrete on own brand new asphalt done the year prior, with no protection whatsoever so half of our newly done asphalt was sprinkled with dried concrete. Sadly we did not notice it when we paid because there was still dust and debri all thoughout and it was wet (they attempted to clean) so it was hard to see the stains. That is our fault for not noticing. But I'm annoyed because they knew it happened. I captured the entire thing on my ring camera where they were cleaning and the worker called Ben and his father over to show him the stains that did not come out. They stayed there for a long time trying to clean but it did not come out. No one said a word to us. I contacted Ben via text a week or so later after noticing the huge stains to which he denied it happened and that the stains came out. He said he will come by to power wash it to see if it would come out. We told him we tried. He said he will come by nonetheless but of course never showed up. He said his asphalt guy is not answering and is busy. That was the last of that. So... don't be cheap and hire these guys. I wish I had not.

I contracted this company in 2017 to do some major renovations in my very first property I owned. I…read morenever had lived in a house before, and to me everything was so new. I had very limited experience with contractors. This company won me over but guaranteeing their work and servicing for "several years". Here is my opinion of them, after a year and a half since they "finished" their work: 1. quality of work: - POOR. They try to do many things "in-house", where their same workers being universally skilled at almost everything and therefore masters at nothing. Quality is from INTERMEDIATE to POOR. Many things had to be re-done, The would break one thing while fixing another, they keep creating more problems as they go along. They would also mislead me into believing that they do certain types of work (electric floor heating) , when they had no experience at all. They did not properly size the area, and installed electric wiring in the floor in a very unsafe and inefficient way, which caused the thermostat to trip. They persuaded me to install the electrical heated floors in the areas, that will never require it, simply due to physics. 2. Third Party Contracting: For come of the work they would hire another company. For the most part they would do the cheapest, low quality work, that would need to be re-done, due to safety concerns. For example they hired a company to install stairs. The quality was so bad, that the steps would start collapsing. I had to warn them of impending injury and wait for a while for them to get it repaired. 3. Procrastination / Abandonment: Even after I repeatedly warned them to winterize the house plumbing, they failed to do it and caused damage to the house. They also failed to secure /remove construction garbage /debris from my property, (despite my repeated warnings) which flew through out the neighborhood and cause me to get multiple violations from the village. They would also disappear for weeks, in the middle of work. I would later find out that they work on another property. 4. Price vs Quality: As I mentioned the quality ranged from MEDIUM to LOW, but the fees they charged where on par with very nicely done, expensive professional work. 5. Warranty. They did not honor their promise and about 8-9 months after they finished, I started having plumbing issues (they installed plumbing). They dont respond to repeated WhatsUp messages or the phone texts or calls. But the funny thing is that I dont trust them, so I rather pay someone else to fix it, rather having them come over and risking them break something else. In summary, I would definitely not recommend Royalties International Inc.

I had that problem fixed by another contractor. Now, there's more leaks again. It destroyed my kitchen ceiling in another spot. I had a plumber look at it and they said it has to do with the shower tiling. Now I have to find another contractor to fix the shower floor and wall tiling. Find another contractor unless you want to waste your money and your time. If I could give zero stars, I would.
