The pho here is honestly one of the best in Salt Lake City. rich broth, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked noodles. I did order the bone marrow, but it was a bit disappointing since it was mostly beef knuckle with barely a teaspoon of actual marrow. Still, the house pho itself completely made up for it. Definitely worth coming back for!
First time. I ordered the mango tropical with boba. It tasted good, though I wish it had a bit more flavor and a more chewy boba. The staff was kind and suggested some drinks to us. There was plenty of seating - bench style. All seating is inside. There's also plenty of parking as this place located in a plaza. Also, yes, there is a bathroom at this location.
It's been a minute since I've came here. Lots of things have changed on their menu! One of my favorite drinks is the pistachio boba! I love how creamy it is! The boba is always nice and chewy! Like that their smoothies aren't as icy anymore and are creamy!

Best boba drinks around!!! I have heard this statement before and after visiting and trying various flavors I agree it is the best. They have so many flavors to choose from and even have creative combinations that isn't typically seen elsewhere. The smoothies are blended well (no ice chunks) and they aren't super sweet so or have a fake taste which has me coming back. They also serve up Vietnamese food and rate well in my book. I like their spring rolls too, they use both pork chashu and shrimp in theirs. Beef pho has a really nice flavor to it. One star deduction because sometimes their service can be slow. Once called I'm a take out order and was quoted 30 mins, showed up and still waited another 45 mins for my food.
My last few visits at Gossip have been excellent, so here's a well deserved five stars! If you're just coming in for a drink, they've got a counter to order at with a couple tables on the right side of the restaurant and a dining section with waiter service on the left side of the restaurant. My two favorite boba drinks are the White Chocolate Banana Coconut and the Tropical Mix. I also sometimes add coconut jelly for an extra 25 cents since it's so good. These drinks are perfect for dessert. When I'm dining in, I'm obsessed with the Catfish in a Claypot dish when it's available and when I'm not in a hurry since it takes 15 minutes longer to make than everything else. The catfish is marinated in this sweet and salty sauce and it's served with steamed white rice. Definitely give it a try if you like catfish, just be careful with the bones. I also really like their egg rolls, egg noodle soup, pho, and rice dishes! I honestly haven't had a bad meal here in as long as I can remember.

Vermicelli noodle bowls are delish, as well as their drinks. I enjoyed my Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee boba. I want to try a smoothie boba next time. Their Hù Tiêu was too salty though. Service is good, they are friendly and check up on you. As for ambiance, it's quite nice inside. It looks like a typical Vietnamese restaurant on one side and then a drink making area on the other side. It's a bit confusing to find the restaurant from the outside. Parking was relatively easy. read more

They've got the best boba in town. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from. You can get milk teas and refreshing fruit flavors. You get to choose if you want the ice blended (so the drink is the consistency of a slushie) or uncrushed. I really enjoy the peach tropical, but unfortunately, they're oftentimes out of peach. I like opting for any of the drinks with some type of berry, such as the strawberry mango. It's got a nice blend of sweetness and a tart zing. I mainly drop by for a boba drink as a dessert and dine in less often. They've got some of my favorite restaurant fried eggrolls! They're really crunchy and a guilty pleasure. The fish sauce that comes with as a dip is also always good. They've got a full menu of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Their pho is a good pick, so is the vermicelli with bbq pork. Always large portions, you may have to take some home, and you'll definitely feel full. read more

Utah has alot of good viet restaurants, def more than New York, I think. My girl took me here last time I visited and I kept craving it after I left. I got the Pho Bac, with beef filet, and it was so good! The broth was so flavorful, and with a hint of ginger, which I loved. The serving was pretty large, and had more rice noodles than usual places I've had pho. The filet beef was so tender and I like it much better than the usual beef or brisket. The fresh spring rolls with shrimp and pork (more like cha siu) was really good too. We really wanted to try the mango sticky rice, but was too full (I ended up eating half her noodles lol). Can't wait to go back next time I'm in SLC! read more

I love this place - it's a local favorite for Pho and Boba drinks. I usually get the pistachio boba, they use actual pistachios, OH SO GOOD. Very creamy and delicious. I usually get the pho or the vermicelli, price is decent as well. In all, great local spot to check out! read more
The service here is incredible they continuously check on you make sure your food is tasting good. We came in and there was not a booth available when a booth became available they switched us in. They refilled our waters, came by with a treat to try out, the Thai tea Boba is amazing and the reason I keep coming back in the last couple of days. I really liked my barbecue chicken and sizzling shrimp platter which came with rice and vegetables and a dressing. Both meats were cooked seasoned really well. The cheese and shrimp wontons are my favorite! Everything taste fresh and healthy not overly heavy. My husband had the pho and said it was really super tasty he would definitely come back. read more
Whoo hoo Viet represent! After a week in Utah, I was homesick for good rice plates, boba and eggrolls. This place made my tummy happy and my heart warm. Cha goi/eggrolls had the crispy rice wrapper instead of the yellow egg wrapper. They are generous with the filling. Served with picked veggies and nuoc mam. The pork chop for the House rice plate combo was super tender and flavorful. The chow fun noodles with char siu pork was okay. I don't like allot of bean sprouts and this had too much for me. The white chocolate coconut banana smoothie is BOMB! They should rename that one WOMD for Weapon of Mass Destruction. Super addicting and smooth down the whistle. It's sweet and is considered a liquid dessert. Only if you like the lingering taste of banana though. Solid Viet joint!! read more
I'm updating my review because Gossip has stepped up their game! It's now more of a 3+ (maybe 4 for Utah); I'll update my stars + review again if this step up stays consistent. I've had nice cashiers who are efficient in taking my orders and get my drinks out quickly. The location is more hip and better maintained than other boba shops nearby, such as Lollicup (stay awayyyyy). One of my favorite things about this place is that I can call in my order & pay with pick up. It's so convenient and they do this for both food & drinks! I also love that they have a full restaurant with dining areas next door. The location is spacious, and the wait's not crazy long; thus, if you did want to eat here instead of ordering to-go, it's not a bad idea. Be wary that the kitchen closes 30 minutes prior to close time, but the drinks will be made until close. Tip: If you don't like drinks being too sweet, you can ask for half sweetness! It'll help mellow it out. For thai teas, my friends will ask for 1/4 sweetness, and it definitely helps. Tip 2: If you're from Cali, come with an open mind and don't expect it to be like Cali boba & you'll be just fine here. If you've got a boba craving, this will do. Tip 3: If you want to get in & out, call in your order before coming here! Keep in mind kitchen closes 30 mins prior to closing, while drinks are served until closing. read more

Did not come here for the food, came for the boba. I ordered the PMS which was underneath Gossip's Most Popular. The PMS was a blended peach-mango-strawberry smoothie drink with tapioca. It was very average - not great, but not bad either. I would come back, but I would try something else. Service was great, the cashier was super helpful and knowledgeable about drinks. read more
First time learning about Gossip Tapioca from co-workers, so we all migrated here shortly after dinner. This place is actually pretty good for boba (only thing I had here), and made me feel like I was back in L.A. The room is divided in 2, half for dining, and the other for sitting around and drinking boba. Not much else to say, except maybe learn how to describe boba, and different flavored drinks (lychee, etc.) to your non-Asian friends so you don't have to whip out Google to answer their question for you. I haven't had their food here, only their boba tapioca drinks and that is what they do best here. They have a large selection of different blended boba drinks from fruity to sweet and specials that they change every now and then. It's a nice meeting place to go with friends (and gossip, haha) to get something that is inexpensive and chilled. So, it's a nice alternative instead of getting frozen yogurt that have been exploding on the scene lately. Out of all of the boba places I have been to, I think this one makes the best drinks. However, it can be hit or miss depending on who makes your drink. Sometimes they can put too much powder making it overbearing or the tapioca balls aren't cooked all the way through so they are a little gritty on the inside. Recently though, they are becoming more consistent with making the drinks so I think they have learned their lessons. Recommendation(s): Thai Tea Blended Boba read more

When the night is cold and the air is bitter, Gossip is the place to go for their Special Duck Noodle Soup. The hot broth literally warms you up from the inside out. Their generous portion of duck will leave you with only a little bit of room for their tapioca drinks after. What is really special about this dish, is the type of egg noodles they use. Atmosphere: Its very casual and loud. This place shares an opening wall with a pho restaurant. It'd be nice to grab lunch or dinner and then get dessert just next door without leaving the building. Food/drinks: One of their top drinks is called "Da Bomb" which is a banana, orange, and mango smoothie with boba. The drink comes standard with the little jelly balls they call boba, but I prefer the mixed jelly which is smaller and more fun to eat! This drink is pretty good, but I'm so used to drinking the taro milk tea or the avocado smoothie. This is also my first time here so I'll have to try my favorites next time! happy eating! read more
I come here pretty regularly my pho loving friend when the other pho restaurants are closed. Not to say that the pho isn't good here, but we have other places we like more. I usually end up ordering spring rolls, egg rolls, or the rice dish. I ordered the house rice dish the last time. Can't remember the exact name, but you get your choice of meat and it comes with rice, veggies, egg pancake stuff, shredded pork, a fried egg, and whatever meat you choose. (I picked beef.) I have to say, it was pretty glorious! It's a pretty standard Vietnamese dish, so you see it all over the place, but I think I like it here over all the other places I've tried in the Salt Lake valley. I also added on some egg rolls for a couple bucks. Well worth the money! A friend ordered the teriyaki chicken and fried rice. Now this.. wasn't the best. I thought it was too bland, but he seemed to really like it! Nothing a little fish sauce can't fix, lol. The drinks are pretty standard smoothies, I usually don't partake, but I have in the past. If your looking for a causal restaurant with great Vietnamese food this is the place. My boyfriend is Vietnamese and he says the food here is pretty authentic. The Bun Bo Hue (BBH) is amazing! It's a warm, spicy, noodle soup dish that comes with a variety of meat toppings. If you like Pho, you'll love this! The noodles in BBH are juicier, and softer in texture than pho noodles. The BBH broth is more flavorful and spicy than pho broth. I didn't think it was possible, but I actual like this more than Pho! I've also had the Charbroiled Rice Plate with Pork Chop. It's pretty flavorful, has a good portion of meat, and comes with a tasty fish sauce. But I'll admit after having the BBH, I can't order anything else, it's just that good! As for drinks, they've got a large selection of Boba Tea flavors. I got the Thai Tea Boba Tea, which is so good! read more
I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. If you are craving any boba of any kind I would totally recommend this place. They have very fresh boba and if boba is not your thing they do substitute it with rainbow jelly or lechee jelly. Their variety of drinks is a lot and they do come up with new drinks every so often. Their standards of making the boba is very constant unlike some people I can name on the top of my head that isn't constant. Another note worthy thing about this place is that if they make the boba not to your liking they will always remake it for you. This place also serves food. They have a dinning area that someone at the boba station can sit you in. Do be patient sometimes the boba station gets too busy and they are not able to be able to sit you immediately. Their food here is very good. I would definitely recommend their bom bo hue. It is a spicy kind of pho, but for me it isn't spicy enough, I always end up adding more spice but it is fine. The ingredients are very much fresh. I would always go to this place when I am craving pho and boba. Totally recommend it. read more

The brown noodles were amazing they taste great will for sure get again and the pho wasn't really good for me because I don't like it in general but the person that I was with enjoy it very much . I will come here again to get the noodles read more
