I consulted and retained the lawyer of this firm for a real estate misrepresentation issue…read moreinvolving a presale contract. After reviewing my case and all my documents, she advised against pursuing the matter, saying it would likely fail in court, and offered to draft a demand letter. I cancelled my retainer right away and against the lawyer's advice, proceeded independently and successfully recovered my deposit and terminated the contract as I believed in my case and she was off track on her assessment. Based on my experience, I believe she lacked the necessary expertise in this area and should have been more upfront about that. I recommend seeking a lawyer with proven experience in real estate disclosure and REDMA-related matters.

To not make this post never ending I'll just say he was absolutely terrible as in missed MORE THAN ONE court hearing, kept postponing meetings prolonging time and therefore costing more money ..at times didn't seem to actually know what he was doing and worst of all DIDNT SEEM TO CARE . This whole case was very TRAUMATIZING and EMOTIONAL for my elderly father going through a very ugly separation. KENNETH lacked the duty of care I believe ,as a lawyer, he owed to his client. SADLY when we reached out to the head office for assistance nobody did anything ..only half a year after case was finalized did anyone reach out and meet with us to try and review what had happened which proved to be pointless. COINCIDENTALLY enough this lawyer is no longer employed at this firm along with his assistant. DO YOUR HOMEWORK people before hiring any lawyers .. in an emotional moment when you need the support of legal council sometimes you don't research them or look for reviews thinking and believing they have your best interest at heart .. in truth .. They DO NOT .

That lawyer had obviously NOT reviewed any of my background information and was uncertain about how the law could be applied to the predicament I was in. Dana, on the other hand, seemed extremely prepared for our initial consultation. Clearly, she understood my problem (estate litigation) and how to solve it. I felt like I could trust Dana, and so did my brother, who was present for the consultation (a conference call, at my request). Immediately after speaking with Dana my brother said, "Well, that was a complete turn-around from that other law firm." I really did breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that Dana was going to take charge and get results where I couldn't (after more than eight months of trying on my own). Certainly Dana delivered, all while deftly handling my personality which sometimes showed the anxiety and stress I was under. Dana was fast, too, because she understood that I had a time-sensitive matter. Dana is a great professional and I would recommend her and YLaw to anyone. Dana killed it!
