I consulted and retained the lawyer of this firm for a real estate misrepresentation issue involving a presale contract. After reviewing my case and all my documents, she advised against pursuing the matter, saying it would likely fail in court, and offered to draft a demand letter. I cancelled my retainer right away and against the lawyer's advice, proceeded independently and successfully recovered my deposit and terminated the contract as I believed in my case and she was off track on her assessment. Based on my experience, I believe she lacked the necessary expertise in this area and should have been more upfront about that. I recommend seeking a lawyer with proven experience in real estate disclosure and REDMA-related matters. read more

EDITED REVIEW .. my 80 year old father unfotunately dealt with one of the FAMILY LAWYERS at this firm named KENNETH CRAIG. To not make this post never ending I'll just say he was absolutely terrible as in missed MORE THAN ONE court hearing, kept postponing meetings prolonging time and therefore costing more money ..at times didn't seem to actually know what he was doing and worst of all DIDNT SEEM TO CARE . This whole case was very TRAUMATIZING and EMOTIONAL for my elderly father going through a very ugly separation. KENNETH lacked the duty of care I believe ,as a lawyer, he owed to his client. SADLY when we reached out to the head office for assistance nobody did anything ..only half a year after case was finalized did anyone reach out and meet with us to try and review what had happened which proved to be pointless. COINCIDENTALLY enough this lawyer is no longer employed at this firm along with his assistant. DO YOUR HOMEWORK people before hiring any lawyers .. in an emotional moment when you need the support of legal council sometimes you don't research them or look for reviews thinking and believing they have your best interest at heart .. in truth .. Our experience with Dominion Law Group was positive from the first moment we consulted with Shafique in 2008. Last year we contacted Mark Sobolewski on a ICBC matter. Both were attentive, thorough, and helpful throughout very difficult times. Mark took the time to speak to various neighbors in order to represent us well. The decision from ICBC was not in our favor, however we felt that without his expertise we would have had years of problems. I was referred to Dominion Law Group through a coworker and called to see if I could talk to them about my accident case. I was surprised when I was given an appointment to see a lawyer the same day. I was nervous about seeing a lawyer at first because i didnt know the process. Everything was explained to me in the first meeting. we went over each stage of my claim and what to expect. Parm had a very easy going approach and genuinely wanted me to learn about the process. My case went on for just under a year and Dominion Law Group always checked in with me to see how I was doing. Parm was genuinely concerned about my injuries and was a great support throughout my case. I was referred to Parm Singh by a past client of his on an extremely urgent matter which I needed legal advice on. I contacted Parm and was able to meet with him the next day. Not only has he provided me with sound legal advice but he also made me feel at ease throughout such an intimidating process.
