I am currently retaining Lunny Atmore as my representation concerning an ICBC case…read more The lawyer I am dealing with, David Cayley, is very professional and helpful. I have worked with David on prior occasions and have found him to be very helpful and organized. His assistant, Dianne Toth, has also been very good at keeping me up to date with my ICBC file, even though I know ICBC is about as fast at settling claims as the Republican Party is fast at acknowledging climate change. Other lawyers at the firm I have worked with include David Lunny, who has always been stright-shooting and direct, though polite and attentive. He has been good at helping to analyze and settle complex legal matters with a set agreement on fees and adheres well to deadlines. I never want to litigate, but if I have to, Lunny Atmore is at the top of my list of firms to go to in that eventuality.

I engaged this firm to handle a relatively simple estate matter and, while at first moderately…read moreresponsive, they completely dropped the ball after the person handling my case apparently resigned. The managing attorney, Michael Atmore, inexplicably preferred hoping that I'd simply go away rather then have someone else brought up to speed so as to close things out. My experience suggests that this is not a competently run firm.

When I had a car accident and the symptoms were lingering and even getting worse, my friend advised me to hire a lawyer and gave me two recommendations. I chose Salater Vecchio because I found John the case manager who I talked to was kind, sincere and respectful. Recently, the case was finally closed after years with a settlement above my expectations. Jushin the lawyer lead the case in a calm and patient manner through the long process, and was kindly available and promptly responsive whenever I had questions. John was consistent in his client-oriented service to the end of the case and impressed me with his caring and reassuring attitude while working for the best of the client. The office staff, especially Mandy, Tiffani, Lotta-Marii, Tommy and Niki, were all very nice and great in details with high level of professionalism. Thank you sincerely to all of you!

I needed help with filling Form 22 for Supreme court civil law…read more I called Atac law if they will explain to me and show me how to fill out the form properly. I was asked to send them all the paperwork that I was including in the Form 22. For that I was charged $392. When they received my paperwork, I had to pay ANOTHER $392 for them to look at it. I was given one hour appointment. To my horror when I got there, all the pages of my documents were mixed up and the lawyer and I spent the best part of my second hour putting papers in order. I was not given any instructions how to fill Form 22. At the end of my session I was asked to give $2,000 retainer and the lawyer was not able to tell me how much the end cost would be to help me fill out the Form 22. I feel cheated as I did not get 2 hours worth of consultation. How they mixed up all my paperwork I have no idea, and it was obvious that if they did look at it, they could not tell what belong where. I asked for fee for one hour back, and it was refused. I would never ever recommend Atac law to anyone. It is not a matter of $392 that was wasted, it is that my possible lawyer could have done that to a possible client. I felt that they did not care about my form 22, they just cared to collect as much as they could from me. That is my true story. Goldie gsmitlener@yahoo.com
