There were four others tables taken by what seemed like locals so not overly busy for the size of the place. I found our server was quite slow, most of us just ordered water for drinks. She told us what the specials were for that day but did not mention any prices. The bacon cheeseburger macaroni soup sounded really good as the smoky burger. When she came back to take our orders, each order was written separately. A lot of us wanted the soup as the side order. Two friends ordered the smoky burger special but she was not clear that it came with two sides. After placing our orders she comes back to say they ran out of soup! All of us were disappointed but perhaps they didn't make enough as they weren't expecting a group of 12? The root beer float came with ice cubes which was odd, for a diner my friend was not impressed. My crispy chicken burger for $13.95 was just a frozen chicken patty with lettuce, tomato and mayo. I chose a salad with French dressing and the lettuce was very fresh like it was just cut from the head five minutes before! The 50/50 burger was not greasy but didn't have much bacon taste, they could probably improve on that one. Another two friends had the chicken cordon bleu which they said was quite good except the mashed potatoes was a bit dry and may not be real potatoes. We paid our bills individually at the till and my friend discovered the smoky burger special was $19.95! Definitely not worth it but it was very tasty. Overall okay but not sure if I would go to this place again next time I'm in town.

Our server was friendly and helpful with the menu but based on that we were one out of three couples there, service was slow. It was super hot outside and it took awhile to get the water glasses filled. Menu was diverse with enough to make most people happy with what they are able to order. We decided on the lamb flatbread. I went with the Salmon while my husband chose the burger . I don't get the idea of sides being extra though. So the burger was 14.50 to order and I think it would have been another 3 bucks for fries. So if my husband saw on the menu , $18.50 with fries he would have chose that. However he saw $14.50 for the burger and then the fries would be extra, he chose not the side. I have no idea why restaurants choose this. Especially for handheld items that typically come with a side. We are not at Ruth Chris Steakhouse. The flat bread was disappointing. The flavours were okay but not stand outstandish, but for 17 bucks we both expected a whole flatbread and not a half of one. My husband liked his burger. I thought my salmon was really good. No complaints on the food. Service and menu pricing could have been better. We also had a few cocktails, which were good. I liked this. But I wouldn't run here.

Always delicious, one of my very favourite places to go out for lunch or dinner or even brunch!…read more The staff, the service the food all wonderful! I love that they use fresh locally grown products. They change the menu seasonally so there's always something new to try, although it makes it hard to choose what to order when everything is so good! The artwork on the walls is lovely and for sale so they are supporting local artists as well! They also sell their own jarred preserves and they are so delicious. Their prices are similar to most other sit down restaurants so considering everything is fresh and locally produced and not wrapped in plastic, frozen, mass produced and microwaved that is quite impressive as well! I always recommended Twisted Fork to anyone new to town, but it's actually worth the trip to St. Paul as well!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! Everything is incredibly over priced, over greased or incredibly…read moredried out, and under seasoned/flavoured! The owner's customer service is lacking any sort of quality, personal or business, touch. They are frequently inclined to just "change the rules" regarding when/how they rectify their mistakes (which happen frequently) based on how they feel that day! One day they will tell you they will replace said item that THEY made wrong, but when you do go to order the correction, they change their mind and no longer will rectify their mistakes! ... Halloween night, just before closing (~7:40pm), we ordered a large pepperoni & mushroom pizza with all the veggies (spinach, zucchini, tri coloured peppers, onions, and tomatoes - from their vegetarian pizza) and ABSOLUTELY NO FETA CHEESE (normally on their vegetarian pizza) - I repeated this more than 3 times to ensure there would be none on our order. The pick up was at ~8:10 pm. I called them twice before 8:20pm hoping they'd pick up but they closed. They are not open on Sundays, so my earliest time that I could call back to rectify this was Monday, Nov 2nd. I explained the situation, that I'd tried calling immediately & had taken pictures. The owner said that she "saw the pizza that night, but didn't think the feta was on it." She reluctantly said she would replace it. Nov 5th I called to get my replacement order. She now changed what she said in that she, herself, actually "made that order that night and yes it had feta on it" but that they'd "changed her rules now... if you don't bring the whole pizza back in, they wouldn't fix it." I understand that to a degree, but at ~8:30pm on Halloween night, it was ridiculous that I would tell the kids that they couldn't eat their pizza that night because Pizza&Wings made it wrong and I'd have to take it back in 2 days to prove it! (So I ended up just picking off the feta as best I could, fed the kids, and got them to bed) It's crazy having the technology to actually prove the pizza was wrong through photos and call records that are date & time stamped, that they think this is how customer service should be. I'm content with knowing that, to the best of my ability, I did what I could from my end. Shame on you, as a restaurant owner to not only make up a lie, and randomly "change the rules" whenever you don't feel like taking responsibility for your actions, but to also gaslight and blame the customer for YOUR mistake ... just shameful. P.S. You can keep deleting the truth, every time someone posts an honest review that you don't like, but you can't hide from shoddy business practices in the end!
