The positives were that we were in/out in about an hour. The negatives were that much of our food had been prepared so far in advance that it was dry/cool. And many of us were overcharged (the "team menu" came with beverages in the set price yet I was charged for 2 pops that I was never served). A few people and their dishes missing altogether and had to wait 45+ minutes. I'd give them another try but I don't think I'd book a team event here again. I'll still give 3 stars as the staff were friendly, the food was decent, and we were in/out relatively quickly.

Some backstory first: My girlfriend and I went to see a concert at Mavericks where we got some drinks during the show and one after. Neither of us we're very drunk at all, and I was completely sober as I had only had one drink. So we took a taxi to the Pour House, went inside and while my girlfriend was getting her ID out of her very full purse (she had two pairs of shoes, two tshirts, and all of he other things that go in a purse) and she accidentally dropped it, which might I add is something that happens to me sober on an almost daily basis, and the bouncer, who has no right telling people if they can or cannot get in if you've had too much, That's the bartenders job. He says "oh I think you've had a bit too much to drink" and we both thought he was joking because we were both 100% coherent. So we both show him our ID, and it's not like we're 18 years old and just able to get drunk, we're both in our mid 20's, we know what we're doing. So we explained that we were at a concert, and he said "oh that's probably why. Sorry you're not getting in" so we had to go to the cabbie who was, thank god still outside and had to pay another $20 to get back home. Long story short, we will not be attending this tavern as long as this man is still working there, and as I said to the cabbie, he needs to get Laid, spayed or paid ASAP.
