I have been a regular customer there and even have so much trust in her that I let her do with my prom make-up. I must admit she did an exceptionally good job and made the occasion a great memory for me. Then they put clear shellac over the top in an attempt to get it to dry. The shellac also didn't dry correctly. The top of ever nail is smudged and smeared. When I called to say they need to be fixed but it's an hour round trip to get back there, they didn't care. No store credit, no refund, no complimentary service for the hour return trip. They said 'we'll fix the top but that's it'. Then, out of nowhere, they literally said I had 'complained' about another nail place - that was untrue, totally irrelevant and very unprofessional. Why even say something like that unless you're trying to imply the customer is lying. Don't waste your money. Poor quality and you won't get a refund.

It was a Friday afternoon and the shop was empty but the woman was rushing and being very harsh with the cuticle clippers, cutting my cuticles so deep on 4 of my fingers that it left them bleeding. Without apologizing or acknowledging what had happened, she then quickly dabbed something on them which stung and left my nails inflamed. She then preceded to quickly file my nails but did such a poor job I was left with some nails with jagged edges. The shellac polish chipped on the edges of most fingers within 2 days. Unless you want swollen stinging, bleeding nails, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I haven't waxed for a while (not during pregnancy or 1 year post baby - aaargh!) so I was going in with the fear - long hairs hurt! Not so much it turns out. These girls use hot wax and trained by the experienced and personable beauty therapist, Sharon. I had hair being pulled and plucked from every direction with two girls working on my legs, bikini, underarm and eyebrows. They were lovely and good - like I said they had a great teacher. I will be definitely going back next month. Especially if it's on another 30+ degree day as they've got air con in their lovely Neutral Bay premises.

There's a spot for nappy changing and breastfeeding is aok here. They'll even warm up your bottle. Easy access to the door and the treatment rooms - meaning no stairs and adequate wide for prams so your little one can go in to the treatment with you. There is also a small playpen area with toys and the treatment rooms have TVs with children's shows playing. If you have a mother's group with more than four others who want to get something done they'll give you all a discount.

Treatments aren't cheap with a 2 hour body massage and exfoliation costing $200 and a 1 hour 15 minute facial costing $135. But they do use organic products so you know you're getting the chemical free beauty therapy our skin loves. I was a little annoyed that when I arrived one morning at 9.30 to buy a gift voucher the girl working there came around the corner and up the stairs to tell me they don't open until 9.45am. I understand that processes have their place but 15 minutes... sometimes a little flexibility is that extra mile service customers look for.
