Bought a groupon voucher to have a laser treatment…read more Place is easy to find. Located right beside the Dymocks book store on George St. I was greeted by the receptionist and was asked to fill out a form as I had not been here before. Form took a total of 3 mins to fill out. My appointment was for 11.45am and I was told it wouldn't be too long a wait. Shannon came out after I had finished filling out said form and showed me to a room. She was very helpful and pleasant as it was my first visit. The session took a total of 10 mins and Shannon explained the whole process before and during the appointment. Very professional. I would recommend this place!

BEWARE everyone!! I…read moredon't normally write reviews but this is one of the worst experience ever that I need write about. It's from the owner herself. I was happy with the laser hair removal sessions with my normal beautician until my last one. My normal beautician wasn't working that day so they assigned me a new one (with the owner coming to help after). They pushed so hard to sell their services, which I'm fine with and I actually bought a lash lift session, paid on the spot and went to the appointment the next day. First of all, I was told tinting came along with the package when I paid. My hair is black. I don't need a tint, but I certainly don't mind it if its free. Secondly, their shop was busy that day and they left the solution on my lashes for too long till my lower lash curled hideously!! After the treatment, I went out to say thank you and goodbye. Guess what, the owner ASKED for money PLUS the tint. It took me 3 minutes to "refresh" her memory that I've paid the day BEFORE, and I even asked if that was it (as in are we done, don't I need a receipt etc) after money was changed hands and they said yes, I can leave. I figured its only the next day and it shouldn't be any problem but they asked me for a receipt of payment. Like WTF. She hesitantly agreed I've paid but still insist on me paying for the tint that I do not need. I prepaid so that I don't have to bring money around all the time, so I didn't have any then and she sarcastically said its my "Christmas present" with some racist slurs and stares like WTF. Thank God I didn't extend my laser sessions with them. BEWARE everyone!!!!

I booked with a gift card & arranged the time & date all online & my confirmation txt was sent 24hrs prior.Taking time off Wk I arriving to be turned me away as I did not have the gift card with me. They requested me to drive home to collect it I thought ok bad customer service forget it & moved on. Sometime later I received spam via m@il & txt . I gifted the card to my partner & she went for a massage only to be told 50% was deduced for my no show Interestingly they did not physically need the card to deduct $60 from it Super poor experience for everyone concerned & a bad look for the Endota brand. As a footnote Coolangatta Endota gave exceptional customer service & we received a sensational massage & would highly recommend a visit.

The staff were very welcoming and the whole experience an absolute pleasure. My massage started off with a foot soak with essential oils and then my lovely Japanese masseuse made me fall asleep. The day spa atmosphere is very calming and it had an remote rainforest type of feel to it. The aromatherapy oils complemented my massage completely and I also bought some Endota products which are all certified organic. My favourite is the Kakadu plum face mask which is great for combination skin or dabbing onto the odd pimple! I would definitely recommend this day spa for a special occasion or times when you just need to get away and relax for an hour or so. They also do gift vouchers so its a perfect gift for someone special! :)

I just came back from a hydro micro dermabrasion facial with the lovely Yasmin. My skin feels amazing! I have also had some of the nice range of New Age range facials, although the LED light therapy just didn't do it for me. Treatments are in a normal salon price range. The products on sale aren't cheap, but they don't push them too hard so it is ok if you don't want to buy them.

I'm a spa junkie. I'm also a Massage Therapist by trade. I admittedly have high spa standards. But…read morewhat I experienced at Spa Endota at The Rocks was so utterly disappointing and unbelievably sub par for an expensive spa in the heart of The Rocks in Sydney, I don't even know where to begin. I received a 3 hour "spa" package gift certificate to the Endota Spa at The Rocks and was beyond excited to finally have a spa day here in Sydney. I booked the Massage, (and paid $15 extra to upgrade to a "deep tissue"), the glycolic peel facial, and the pedicure. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a receptionist and then taken downstairs to their "relaxation lounge". I was provided a nice herbal tea and given a form to fill out. Another woman, who did not introduce herself, then approached me with a pallet of colours to choose for my pedicure (it's a dimly lit room below ground floor. Sure, let me pick that colour!). She took me back to the treatment room, and only then did I realise this was my therapist. "Are you doing ALL of my treatments??" "Yes. If that's ok with you." 'Oh. Yes. What's your name?' No introduction, no "Welcome!" Or "hi, I'll be your therapist today, follow me this way"...etc. The Facilities: The "relaxation room" was nice enough. It felt like what a relaxation room in an Ikea would look like: grey sectional couch and enlarged print of random person included. The Spa Bathroom: I've seen nicer truck stop bathrooms. The treatment room: ever had a massage in a friend's bathroom? Me neither. You'll know what it feels like after visiting here! My therapist even took her shoes off and set them by the door so that I would know JUST what that would feel like! About the services: It seems a common thing in Australia for spa industry people to cross-train in massage and aesthetics which I find troublesome. The result is someone who only knows/cares a little about both and are not very good at either. I'm really quite curious to know where these people are getting trained, because their industry standards are VERRRRRY different to those that I know. The massage. Cons: She talked nearly the whole first 1/2 hour. I specifically ticked the box that I prefer to have quiet during the massage. I upgraded to a deep tissue. To my therapist that meant firmer fingertip pressure. I asked her to use elbows for firm pressure. She did on one 1/2 of my back after the first 1/2 was just fingertips and fingernails. I asked her to not place my hands behind my back to get to the scapula (this should never be done without consent, and specifically not to people with shoulder injuries). She actually argued with me and in a huff told me "well I won't be able to get to where I need then, and it won't help you." Bullsh*t. I was cold the entire time. She never checked in with me. She skipped massaging my feet. Told me that because she is doing them in the pedicure, it would mean she would do them twice. The only massage was swedish strokes done firmly. This does NOT make it a deep tissue, nor does it even make it enjoyable. She also skipped scalp massage, apparently because she would do it during the facial, lord no, she couldn't do it twice! The facial cons: cold water used to cleanse my face. She turned the overhead lights on to have a look at my skin, no professional aesthetic lighted magnifying lens. No extractions. The washcloths used to take the product off smelled bad. There was a product she used that smelled disgusting...like seriously I could throw up, it smelled like dead fish. She argued with me that it didn't smell like that to her, and although other guests had also complained of the smell, that is not what it smelled like. The glycolic peel didn't even produce a tingle, and I was left to sit with another mask of what felt like toothpaste for...forever. This is when she began my pedicure. Whoah. WAIT, you say. Yes. I know. A pedicure ON THE TABLE two hours in to this "treatment". I began to feel trapped and tortured when I realised that my "pedi" would also take place here in this room. I wanted to sit UP! I wanted to be near people! I wanted to be sipping on tea and readingbtrash mags! I wanted to be clothed! I wanted to be warm..and SEE what she was doing. Can you feel my panic??! I asked..."so is this typically where you do pedis??" "Yes.Unless you're at the Asian places in shopping centres. The nicer spas do then in the treatment rooms" ME-OW. Claws out. Annnnnd...Bullsh*t. Oh and it looks like my 7 year old did my toes. Seriously. Don't waste your money here. I need a massage to relax from my massage now. :/
