My favorites here that others do not provide... -specialty grocery -bulk section -fresh local breads -pistachio and cranberry orange muffins -certain coffee -they charge for bags lol (yes you read that right) I would like to see more sprouts in the area as this location is a little far from where I live.

So I had to order a substitute product which was not that big of a deal. I liked GFS, because they have numerous items not available at your pay warehouse is such as Sam's Club or Costco and BJ's. I ordered prepared taco meat, Mexican rice, and salsa Verde for a nacho bar that I am preparing this week. The taco meat is very practical. It is in a 5 pound bag that only needs to be placed in boiling water to heat up and serve. The taco meat can be purchased in beef or chicken. Today there was a little hiccup at checkout. One of my items had changed in price from the date of order. Thus, my amount of my school prepaid check was not enough to cover the bill. It is noted on their website that price is subject to change. But the management was kind enough to do a price override to make my transactions smooth.

I was in the area for another retail store and decided to swing by to scoop up a few things for dinner. I am a Kroger faithful, so I was happy to swing by, but will say getting in and out of this location, no matter where you enter/exit is stressful! The store is large and features all the specialty counters including cheese, sushi, seafood, meats, pharmacy and bakery...and even features a good sized Starbucks. The store was well kept conditionally and equally as clean. While things appeared to be in decent shape, majority of the store from inside to out was still showing its age. They have updated a few areas including produce, frozen and Starbucks, along with updating all the signage, but the core part of the store and the facade still need some love. Service was okay. I encountered two associates during my trip in, neither were what I would call friendly, but they were not rude either. Shelves were stocked, prices were solid, and selection was good. All the things, plus a Starbucks, that I like about Kroger...oh,and the fact that they had a good amount of the small double decker carts was a plus too! This location also features a fuel center, and you already know I had to use some of those gas points! Overall, solid Kroger location that I would not mind visiting again when in the area.
