Went in too look at the meat and was immediately disgusted. Not only were they horrendous looking they looked way past due. I walked out feeling sick to my stomach.

Fresh peaches from Scott's Orchard in Alabama. Also had fresh tomatoes. Small and clean store. Prices consistent with other stores.

This Kroger sits near the busy intersection of Old Fort Parkway and Cason Lane just a few blocks…read moreoff of 24 and for the most part is your standard Kroger location. I was in the area for another retail store and decided to swing by to scoop up a few things for dinner. I am a Kroger faithful, so I was happy to swing by, but will say getting in and out of this location, no matter where you enter/exit is stressful! The store is large and features all the specialty counters including cheese, sushi, seafood, meats, pharmacy and bakery...and even features a good sized Starbucks. The store was well kept conditionally and equally as clean. While things appeared to be in decent shape, majority of the store from inside to out was still showing its age. They have updated a few areas including produce, frozen and Starbucks, along with updating all the signage, but the core part of the store and the facade still need some love. Service was okay. I encountered two associates during my trip in, neither were what I would call friendly, but they were not rude either. Shelves were stocked, prices were solid, and selection was good. All the things, plus a Starbucks, that I like about Kroger...oh,and the fact that they had a good amount of the small double decker carts was a plus too! This location also features a fuel center, and you already know I had to use some of those gas points! Overall, solid Kroger location that I would not mind visiting again when in the area.

I can't rave enough about Kim's International Market…read more They have the best freshly prepared Banchan products available in the 'Boro. I picked up kimchi, seasoned shiitake mushrooms, sliced radish kimchi, and seasoned fish cakes. Additionally, I got some kimbap and some The owners are so friendly and kind. They are also very helpful if you have questions about Korean recipes or products. The ambiance is inviting and reminds me of when I lived in Daegu, ROK.

You can get a shopping cart right in front of the store before coming in if you need one (or you can also grab a small hand basket inside if you prefer). My husband and I stopped by this market yesterday evening, around 5:50 pm. I wanted to see if there was any banchan and other random snacks for our trip. And although this is a small market, there was a fair selection of banchan that I ended up purchasing (japchae, the glass noodle stir fry) and stir fry fish cakes (one of my favorite banchan). I also purchased a few sheet masks since they were only $0.99 (prior to tax) but kind of in a hidden area that I think others may overlook when they browse this small mom and pop store. My husband picked out a few canned drinks and I also ended up purchasing some seaweed flavored snacks. The prices in general, seem to be a little bit more expensive than the prices back home in Los Angeles at my local Korean markets, but that is to be expected. The selection for most items is actually pretty good, considering that this is a small market. But I think overall, it fits the need of most items that you may be looking for at a Korean market (there are also items that are Chinese and few Japanese items here as well, for those interested). After paying for our items, the employee (whom I suspect is one of the owners), was so nice and thanked me for shopping at the store. I enjoyed our visit and would come back if I lived in this area.
